#Getting on the dr who train in the year of our timelord 2023

Just started watching Dr Who (starting with Christopher Eccleston) for the first time since it first aired when I was a wee scrapling and I'm having a lovely time.

As a child, I was scared of EVERYTHING (especially the cybermen; I used to have nightmares that I was trapped inside a cyberman factory watching people screaming as they had their heads sliced open and brains extracted) but now I can actually relax and let myself get immersed in the story.

I've always loved Cassandra and I'm obsessed with this "bitchy trampoline" showing up with murder in her heart, serving cunt and then sticking on Tainted Love by Soft Cell. Iconique behaviour. Also, obsessed with her being completely unphased by all of Rose's insults. A ROLE MODEL.

Also, when this first aired (when I was EIGHT), I didn't appreciate how full of rage and angst the ninth doctor is. DELICIOUS. Rose is great too and their relationship is wonderful. I'm on episode 6 now and I have already cried multiple times throughout the series, WHICH IS HIGH PRAISE BTW.
