#Get in Dum-Dums We're Going Vandalizing

Here's some (sorta cleaned up) rough drawings of the different turtles! ( I love them all!) I'm still working on the outlines/corrections, redrawing some parts…, tight schedule. This is for that 'project' I think like only 2 people heard me mention. For now, we'll call it "Get in Dum-Dums, We're Going Vandalizing", until I've deemed it good enough to receive "THE" title.

Unfortunately the Mutant Mayhem bros are more of a bonus, I don't think I can get them to fit in my project, and so are the first on the metaphorical chopping block for this.

Turtle Dialogue (Draft)

87 Donatello: Um, why do we have to help again? Leonardo: Because we're HEROES! Donatello: Again, WHY? Michealngelo: Because the plot demands it bruh. Donatello: Oh right. Raphael: Don't worry. They won't last long at the rate they're going.

03 Raphie: Wanna show these kids how it's done? Lee(ah): They could use a lesson or two. Mikey/Micheal: This just got interesting~. Don: Now now guys. This is the perfect time to collaborate! ... for science! Raphie: You're just trying to get a leg up on us Don. Don: Maybe~.

12 Leo: We can do it team! Dee:You said that last time! Mike-ster: It's cool. We got this! Raph: Well I'm ready to bust some skulls!

Rise Raphala: You ready to lend a hand boys~. Miguel: Oh yeahhh~ Leon: Let's try not to get lost again mmmkay~ Tello: I blame Leo for that!

HOLY SH*t GUYS! They’re bringing back rottmnt and Usagi’s coming!!! JKGDGSHFLG- He looks so Good!!!

Seriously though, sorry. I’m just quite proud of my Usagi design! It took a WHILE to figure out.

Chronologically he doesn’t appear til late in my “Get in Dum-Dums, We're Going Vandalizing!" fic (I'm writing Turtles Forever II), so I’ll probably just make it a separate fic in a series, something I’ve been contemplating on for a couple “episodes”. For now I’ll continue to develop his character and that action-packed story and I won’t be happy til it feels canon.

Personality wise my Usagi is a combination Miyamoto and Yuichi Usagi. I managed this by making him a dramatic guy that constantly tries to look and act cool, and somehow succeeds with his skills. “I! Am Usagi Yojimbo!” *points his sword.

Since he initially grew up in a more… traditional environment until he met his friends, he “sounds wise”. But his act quickly falls apart! Cause… ugh… he’s a dense idiot with ADHD…

He attacks first, yet has made a few “enemies” into friends! Like Chizu. All cause he has a good heart and can be too trusting. Snapping from “serious” to “way too happy” on a dime. He’s too confident, reckless, and he loves one liners and “bad jokes”. Hobbies include “spear fishing”, yo-yo-ing, swords, and karaoke and dancing.

What’s most interesting is his relationship to everyone. Most notably, Casey Jr. After all, Usagi has his Sensei’s cloak and sword. (Also Donnie is happy for Leo and Usagi, and supports them. SUE ME.)

I won’t be happy til I perfect a dynamic, not just with Leo, but his brothers as well. I’m a character based writer, and I try my best to mimic canon!

As for Usagi’s relationship with Leo, it’s an interesting scenario... They get along PERFECTLY. TOO perfectly. They’re both amazed at the other. Too alike, it’s like they’re made for each other. Usagi gives Leo the much needed confidence boost he needs. However, as Usagi loves dangerous, reckless plans, he threatens to set Leo’s character arc back a stage as he ropes him into his antics. Combine that with what’s to come for poor Usagi, and tension forms between the two enough to raise blades. That’s the plan at least. Such a shame too, in terms of guilt. There’s no one else that understands so precisely how the other feels…

What’s more. He and Edo Japan have a few surprises, you’ll have to see.

Welcome!~ To the first of the line up! The 1987 turtles, "The Green Machine!" In "Get in Dum-Dums, We're Going Vandalizing!" aka. the Ultimate Turtles Forever II fic! (When it's got more than a few chapters out.)

Written IN character, but older, these silly goobers find themselves accidentally in the "Rising Tide"-Earth 18 Universe (rottmnt). Still bitter about the previous crossovers and how they were treated, they get anything but! upon arrival to their surprise. Where an unexpected best-of-friendships with the crew accidentally lands them roped into endless shenanigans! (With a bit of a upgrade. Perfect for what's lies ahead!~)

Experience 4th wall breaks, callbacks, the zany! Hidden details! Any fan can still enjoy! Such as surfing Michelangelo with his pet fish Maxwell, Dark Turtle Donatello (how he loves to eat the crust first), Leonardo's love for video games and drawing, and Raphael's love for disguises and desire to be a detective! Red Sky! 1987 concepts given new life with inspired character depth!

And YES. April! Will arrive! To cause a little chaos to Ol' Shredhead and Krang!

(“SWOOPING IN LIKE A BOSS!”// “THIS IS HOT SOUP HIBERNATOR!!!” Rafa screeched out happily. Mimicking the wrestling move.)

Raphael cackled, nearly falling out of his chair. “Now THAT’S what I’m talking about!” He leaned forward. “Hey, think you can show me that move later? I got a list of wrestling moves I use for fighting. And I WOULD love to add that to my arsenal.”

(Rafa: Sure! We can-)

Michelangelo resting his head in his palms, arms against the table. Just enjoying things. Being very chill.

Small Mikey (Michelangelo couldn’t believe he was so tiny) turned to him, “You're not gonna join in?"

“Nah. I’m not the biggest fan of wrestling. But Leonardo and Donatello loves the stuff! Though the bro in blue doesn’t watch TV too often.”

Leon: “Heh. So (little?) me! What about you? What do you like to do?”

Leonardo: “Oh! I like reading. Studying ninja history… And swords! Oh! And lotus flowers~!”

“Oh..kay… Not exactly my cup of tea… Anything else?”

Leonardo: “I like videogames!”

“See! Now that’s what I’m talking about! I can work with that!”

Raphael: “Nu-uh! You're banned after last time!”

Leonardo: “It wasn’t that bad! I have it under control!”

Leon looked at Raphael, confused, “...Last time what?”

“I just.” He shrugged his shoulders, crossing them nervously. “Get competitive is all!”

“Last time what!” Leon leaned forward expectantly, grinning at Leonardo. Getting more and more excited at the prospect of a drama-filled secret.

“‘Mr. Competitive’ spent 3 sleepless nights trying to beat a level at an arcade. And you don’t even want to know what that lead to.”

Leon: (I think I might.)

Leonardo turned away. “Tempestra was a fun game ok.” grumbling under his breath. 

Leon perked a brow. Spotting the subtle twitches of nerves in his fingers. His eyes widen. 

“NO.” Leon was in disbelief. “How many nights was it really?”

That got Raphael and Michelangelo’s attention all too quick, Raphael’s eyes narrowing accusingly while Michelangelo’s was blown wide. Everyone looking at the turtle, and it caused him to sweat under the looks. “I-I don’t want to talk about it ok!”

“Uh-huh” Raphael nodded, “‘Have it under control’ my shell.”

?“You have a problem with videogames like I have a problem with pizza my dude./You don’t got a problem the same way pizza doesn’t (?) my dude.”

("Thanks Michelangelo." -Leonardo is too literal to be sarcastic?

I love ‘em. My 1987 boys. Something happened when I was tweaking and fleshing out their personalities! And now I am OBSESSED.

I had plans on how I wanted the next chapters to go-I-I can’t. I’m derailing and moving stuff around. I need the Rise bros and them to hang out more before I get to what I originally planned. And my word I will MAKE YOU LOVE ‘EM TOO!
