The Key to Success with a German-Speaking B2B Sales Partner
In today's globalized business world, being able to manage multilingual markets successfully is often the difference between success and failure. Learning about and using the subtleties of different languages and cultures can be a game-changer for businesses that want to grow and expand, especially those that work with other companies. It is imperative to have a sales expert partner for the German-speaking market as an example of this. In this blog, we'll delve into the significance of mastering multilingual markets, especially when collaborating with German-speaking partners and explore strategies for success in this context.
The Importance of Multilingualism in B2B Sales
Effective communication is paramount in B2B sales. Unlike B2C transactions, B2B deals often involve complex negotiations, detailed contracts, and long-term relationships. In such scenarios, language barriers can become significant obstacles, hindering comprehension, rapport-building, and, ultimately, deal closure. In this regard, multilingualism is beneficial.
By speaking the language of your business partners, you demonstrate respect for their culture and facilitate smoother interactions. Moreover, German-speaking B2B sales experts open doors to new markets, allowing businesses to tap into diverse customer bases and forge stronger international alliances. In German-speaking markets, known for their economic prowess and precision, the ability to converse fluently in German can be particularly advantageous.
The Role of a German-Speaking B2B Sales Partner
One of the most strategic moves a company can make in entering the German-speaking market is to collaborate with a proficient B2B sales partner fluent in German. Such a partner bridges the language gap and brings invaluable insights into the local business culture, etiquette, and market dynamics. Here's how a sales expert for Germany in the USA can contribute to your success:
Cultural Understanding: Culture plays a significant role in business interactions. A sales partner understands the nuances of German business culture, including communication styles, negotiation tactics, and decision-making processes. This cultural fluency fosters trust and credibility, laying a solid foundation for fruitful partnerships.
Language Proficiency: Effective communication is impossible without language proficiency. With a German-speaking partner, you can seamlessly engage in discussions, presentations, and negotiations, eliminating misunderstandings and conveying your message with clarity and precision. This not only enhances the efficiency of your sales process but also enhances your brand's reputation as a professional and reliable partner.
Market Insights: Navigating a foreign market requires more than just linguistic skills; it demands a deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitors. A German-speaking sales expert brings invaluable insights into the German market landscape, helping you tailor your products/services to meet German clients' specific needs and demands.
Established Networks: Creating a network from scratch in a new market can be difficult and time-consuming. By partnering with a seasoned B2B sales professional well-connected in the German business community, you gain access to an established network of potential clients, suppliers, and collaborators, accelerating your market entry and expansion efforts.
Final Words
In an increasingly interconnected world, mastering multilingual markets is no longer a luxury but a necessity for businesses seeking sustainable growth and expansion. When entering the German-speaking market, collaborating with a New PM Sales who understands the language, culture, and business landscape can significantly enhance your chances of success. By leveraging their expertise as sales expert partners for the German-speaking market and implementing strategic approaches, businesses can unlock new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and establish themselves as trusted players in one of the most dynamic economies.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Etymology The term ‘privatizing’ first appeared in English, with quotation marks, in the New York Times, in April 1923, in a translation of a German speech referring to the potential for German state railroads to be bought by American companies.[5] In German, the word Privatisierung has been used since at least the 19th century.[6] Ultimately, the word came to German through French from the Latin privatus.[7]
The term reprivatization, again translated directly from German (Reprivatisierung), was used frequently in the mid-1930s as The Economist reported on Nazi Germany's sale of nationalized banks back to public shareholders following the 1931 economic crisis.[8]
The word became common in the late 1970s and early 1980s as part of UK prime minister Margaret Thatcher's economic policies. She was drawing on the work of the pro-privatization Member of Parliament David Howell, who was himself drawing on the Austrian-American management expert Peter Drucker's 1969 book, The Age of Discontinuity.[8]

China and India’s View of Ukraine War
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Nov. 17, 2022.--Completing the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, the world, including China and India, raised no objections to the strong condemnations by European, Asia and South American countries, perhaps signaling their displeasure with war. Chinese Prsidient Xi Jinping and India’s Prime Minister Narenda Modi both asked Putin to end the war at the earliest possible time but there are questions about the U.S. and Ukraine’s willingness to go to the peace table without Russian President Vladimir Putin withdrawing all his forces from Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Putin had troops in Ukraine before the Feb. 24 invasion, supervising Russian-speaking areas of Donetsk, Luhansk and the Crimean Peninsula. Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky has set unrealistic goals of removing Russian forces from everywhere in Ukraine. Putin knows in any peace talks he’ll have to make compromises.
No one questions the war’s destructiveness to Ukraine and the U.S. and EU economies, creating the worst inflation in 40 years. “Most members strongly condemned the war in Ukraine and stressed it’s causing immense human suffering and exacerbating existing fragilities in the global economy,” said a G20 statements. But the question Western powers want answered is will China and India continue business-as-usual. China and India haven’t jumped on the Western sanctions that have blocked Russian petroleum and natural gas sales, knowing that they need Russia’s affordable oil prices at a time of global shortages. China and India want the war to end but they’re not willing to sacrifice their political and business ties with Moscow. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said the the G20’s “surprisingly clear words” that they universally condemn Putin’s Ukraine War regardless of China and India..
Scholz saud it “wouldn’t have been possible if important countries hadn’t helped us to come together this way—that includes India and its also includes, for example, South Africa. No one backs Putin’s Ukraine war but his political and business allies aren’t willing to condemn Moscow or break off economic ties. “This is something that shows that there are many in the world who don’t think this war is right, who condemn it, even if they abstained in the votes at the United Nations for various reasons,” Scholz said. Scholz realizes that Russian has been a reliable energy supplier to Germany and many other countries for years and can’t see fit to act in concert with Western countries. Xi or Narenda made no effort to openly condemn the Kremlin for its war in Ukraine. Both China and India have said in the past that NATO’s encroachment in on Russia provoked Putin to invade Feb. 24.
No country in the world economy wants to see runaway inflation and recession sweep their nations. So, no nation wants the Ukraine War but the question is how to end it. Putin has made several overtures to Zelensky and Biden to go to the peace table to resolve the issue. Biden and Zelensky seem hell-bent to prosecuting the proxy war until Russian gets out of Ukraine. But Chairman o0f the Join Chiefs-of-Staff Mark Miley said today that finding a political solution would be best for all parties. Miley sees no end to the Ukraine War anytime in the foreseeable future in terms of Ukraine driving the Russian military out. Miley makes a strong case for ceasefire and peace talks requiring warring factions to sit donwn and work out their differences. Miley seeks Zelensky’s approach of unending war as unrealistic and destructive to Ukraine. Miley sees zero chance that Putin will surrender to Ukraine.
Media outlets side heavily with Western countries, to the point that they’d push the war until Putin eventually surrenders. But military experts evaluating Ukraine capabilities and weaknesses know that there’s zero chance of Putin exiting all Ukrainian territory, especially Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea. Since Biden funded Zelensky’s bankrupt government and decided to use Ukrainian troops to wage proxy war against the Russian Federation, the war has escalated to the point that ceasefire and peace talks are inconceivable. Once Putin invaded Ukraine, Biden and Zelensky agreed to spend whatever it takes to rid the Russian Federation from Ukraine. Zelensky’s decision in March to reject Putin’s offer to cede all Ukrainian territory except Donetsk, Luhank and Crimea, created the widespread destruction, carnage, leaving the war with no off ramps for Moscow and Kiev.
Whatever happened at the G20 summit, Putin’s allies remain his allies, despite the Western press saying that China, India and South Africa want the war to end. Everyone wants the war to end except Biden and Zelensky who still think they can vanquish the Russian Federation. If Miley’s analysis today means anything, he urges both combatants to find a political solution because he sees no military one now or in the foreseeable future. For the Ukraine War to move from the battlefield to the peace table, Biden has to tell Zelensky that the war can’t going on indefinitely. With a new GOP House seating in January, there’s movement to bring Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin to an end. Zelensky must be forcefully told that the U.S. cannot foot his government and the war’s bills indefinitely. China and India want the war to end because they see the damage to the global economy.

Task 1: Concept Mind Maps
In pairs we produced a mind map of each others concept, for our final project, planning and considering how we can explore the following factors:
Research
Experimentation
Sampling
Development
Production
Personal Reflection/ Evaluation
Project/ Time Management
We was asked to write down our narrative on a piece of paper and swap with our partner so we had each others narrative. We then wrote down our ideas that came to mind related to their narrative, in order to help them with new ideas they may not have thought of or knew about. I really enjoyed this task as it helped me learn new facts about the petite world and I was able to complete lots of research. I always loved hearing about my peers narratives and their stories as to why they are focusing on a certain topic.
My completed research from this task:
Petite models -
After researching about types of work available for petite models I found out that other than Moss, most petite models do commercial and catalogue work. Models who work in fashion generally work with high street brands specialising in petite clothing. It is very rare for a petite model to find high-fashion work on the catwalk or for designer labels. This is something that I find unfair as your height should not matter. However, petite models are not restricted when finding work. This is due to an increase in brands catering for men and women with smaller frames and shorter legs, petite models are now employed to keep up with this fashion industry demand.
Successful petite models -
Models who have refused to obey the stereotypical image associated with top designers, catwalks and campaigns are creating a path for petite models. These inspiring successful models have completely ignored the height restriction demonstrating that a smaller stature is required in the fashion industry. “Successful petite models are making an impact in a tall girls stomping ground, ignoring the confinements set upon them.”
Twiggy -
A british icon in the sixties and only 5″4. She revolutionised the stereotypical look of the era, starting a new breed of supermodels. Her height is rarely mentioned due to her confident persona that demands attention. She is still the shortest model with such a supermodel status.
Beautiful dreams - Twiggy records her first single
Anja Konstantinova -
Russian-Australian model, her impressive range of work includes, Vogue, Marie Claire, Urban Outfitters and French Connection. At 5″4 her height is not an issue with each shot demanding attention with her striking features, blonde hairs and natural posing instincts. The successful model discovered in a melbourne hair salon has received lots of rejection in her career, but she continues to break boundaries in a predominantly tall industry.
She explains: “People in Australia don’t accept shorter girls because they are a bit harder to work with, you have to photograph them in a certain way.”
How to make the most of your petite frame -
Don’t draw attention to your shorter height when interacting with clients and via body language. You will have to work extra hard to get noticed, which means standing tall and learning to highlight your height in photos. Never be caught slouching and be sure to work on poses that lengthen your lines. Good posture and strong stature goes a long way when presenting yourself to an agency meeting and photoshoot.
Petite models who changed the fashion industry -
Lily-Rose Depp
Lily-Rose made her runway debut with chanel in 2016. She is just 5″3, but that did not stop her from becoming the muse of fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld.
Amina Blu
This German/ Pakistani beauty is 5″1 and no stranger to New York Fashion Week. Amina has walked for Kanye West more than 5 times. With her unforgettable looks and signature looks, Amina will keep making headlines.
The ‘Size 0′ movement
Sizes range from 0-2 which is extra small to 14-16 which is larger. Smaller sizes are usually petites, and larger sizes usually found in womens or plus size departments.
The size-zero ban is proof fashion industry on finally listening to customers. The use of size zero models has been a fashion industry scandal for many years. France’s top fashion house have committed to stop underage and size zero models from featuring in catwalk shows and advertising campaigns. Owners of brands such as Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton say they want to persuade others in the industry to follow suit. The industry has long been accused of promoting unhealthy body images of women and ignoring well-documented health problems experienced by models. In 2017, the French government voted through a law requiring models must have a medical certificate confirming they were not dangerously underweight.
“No model under 16 years will be recruited to take part in fashion shows or photographic sessions representing adults.” Models between 16-18 years will no longer be allowed to work between 11pm and 6am and must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone if required to stay away from home.
“The wellbeing of our models is a fundamental subject” the statement from LVMH read.
Mallory Schlossberg - “I’m part of a huge demographic that retailers largely ignore - here’s why it’s so frustrating”
When reading this article I very much related myself to it, she mentions being reminded of her height near enough everyday, she is 4″11 like me. “There are only a few times when I'm reminded how short I am: when I'm riding the subway and someone pushes right into me because I'm not in his peripheral vision, when I can't reach my kitchen cabinets and hop onto the counter, and when I'm shopping.”
When she was in high school and college she frequently shopped in the kids section. She mentioned it being impressive to see the selection that’s available for wealthy, stylish kids these days. She is able to wear a lot of designer apparel that are much cheaper than adult prices as kids clothes takes less fabric to make. However, it comes to a point in an adult woman's life where you do not want to shop in kids section anymore, she wanted to wear apparel for women because she is a woman. Adult size small dresses zip up just fine, but they hug in all the wrong places and drag on the ground or are longer fit on her than they’re supposed to be.
“It's frustrating. How do you shop for clothes and not look like a child in children's clothing — or a child playing dress up in her mother's closet?”
There are retailers that do cater to petite women although the ranges are very limited.
“Walk into Ann Taylor, Loft (where I buy my jeans), J. Crew, Banana Republic, or a department store, and you'll see selections of petite clothing, often relegated to a small corner with an odd amalgam of apparel, as though the merchandise team is wondering, "who is this petite woman? Is she a mother? Is she frumpy? Is she a decaying 90-year-old? Is she youthful and feisty? Is she too young to show off her curves? Is she a virgin?" The answer — from a petite woman — is that she is none of the above, and she is all of the above. The petite woman is just like the regular-sized customer...only shorter.”
Retailers seem very confused with how to deal with short women. Topshop and Anthropologie are starting to recognise that short women like to look fashionable too, but the lack of options and concern for petite shoppers is noticeable. The reason as to why there are fewer petite options and not all stores offer apparel for smaller-framed women is because it requires a different design pattern.
As blogger TanyaTheAnonymousModel wrote on Jezebel:
"For a dress to look the same on a petite woman, a standard size woman and a plus woman — for the hem to hit at the same place on each woman's leg, for the waist to sit at the appropriate height, for the neckline to flatter but not overexpose, for the pockets to be useful, easily reached, and neither too small nor too big — requires, in effect, three totally different paper patterns, each with a separate, and expensive, development process."
The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City offers a continuing education course in image consulting, combining petite and plus size bodies together as "special size" customers — noting that they make up about a tremendous amount of the population. The course description reads as follows:
"Over 70 million U.S. women fall into the special size category, that 50 % of the population is actually under 5'4", and 65 million women are considered plus size. Designers, patternmakers, retailers, stylists, and image consultants, and wardrobe technicians can all benefit from this in-depth workshop that demystifies the special size business potential. Learn the facts behind the figures with practical information for fulfilling the expectations of the special size customer with proper fit, fashion, and service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to increase sales and services. Interact with our two industry experts as they each tackle the dilemmas facing both the petite and plus-size customer and give concrete directions for satisfying their shopping needs and fashion passions."
An undergraduate course "sketching for fashion designers" mentions that "Large, half-size, petite, and junior-size figures are featured to study proportions used in the industry". Showing petites aren't entirely ignored in design school, they just aren't given equal attention. They're generally not on runways; runways are about aspiration, and who aspires to be 5'2''?
“Petite women have not been celebrated loudly as equals. They have not been given body-positive model icons to speak on their behalf, although we do have Kelly Ripa, Snooki, and Kim Kardashian in our corner. There has not been a call to action. There hasn't been any real vocal repugnance, but instead, there's been a silence and a void, which is too telling. Petite women have been pushed aside, not permitted to speak — much like the children for which many try not to be mistaken.”

Why are Tel Aviv and Washington Inflaming the Situation in the Persian Gulf? During the run-up to the anniversary of the insidious assassination of Iranian General Soleimani – and after one month had passed since the equally controversial massacre of leading nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh – Israel and the United States, which are ones responsible for this atrocity, are demonstratively increasing their military presence in the Middle East, and doing so in demagogic fashion under the guise of fearing “retaliation from Iran”. The United States, located both at a considerable distance from Iran and outside the range of its missiles, having provoked this crisis clearly fears only a missile attack on its diplomatic mission in Iraq, as well as other American facilities in the region. Washington is trying to validate these fears with reports from American intelligence services, according to which pro-Iranian armed formations that can deliver a “retaliatory strike” have allegedly stepped up their activity in Iraq. However, on December 21 Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh denied these suspicions, which especially resounded in recent statements made by US Secretary of State M. Pompeo about the alleged complicity of pro-Iranian militia in the latest rocket strikes executed on Baghdad’s “Green Zone”. Along with that, Khatibzadeh wrote on Twitter that for Tehran “attacks on diplomatic facilities are unacceptable”. Washington still dispatched additional warships and a squadron of fighters to the Middle East, and demonstratively conducted a nonstop flight of a B-52 strategic bomber that has the ability to carry nuclear weapons, by doing so intending to “intimidate Tehran”. In addition, on December 21 a US naval unit entered the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz that included a USS Georgia (SSGN 729) Ohio-class submarine, which carries up to 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles and is capable of taking on board up to 66 special operations service personnel, as well as two Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruisers: a USS Port Royal (CG 73) and a USS Philippine Sea (CG 58). Previously, at the end of November, a USS Nimitz (CVN-68) aircraft carrier was sent off the Persian Gulf “to help contain the enemy”; this was rationalized by the need “to have additional defensive capabilities in the region in case of any unforeseen circumstances”. As far as Israel goes, it clearly fears a “retaliation strike” from Iran since, given the Jewish state’s modest size, a successful attack on it could actually terminate its existence. This is especially true if the strike were to hit the Dimona Nuclear Research Center, which is considered to be the site where Israeli nuclear weapons originated; Tel Aviv neither confirms nor denies that the center exists. Incidentally, Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahedi Kermani already delivered a warning to Israel that “if Iran decides to put up resistance, then one missile strike on the Dimona reactor would be enough”. It is clear that Iranian missiles will not really be launched at Dimona, since this is fraught with consequences that entail nuclear contamination and destruction not only for Israel, but for Iran and quite a few neighboring countries across the region. And that is why the Iranian media occasionally names another target: the Israeli city of Haifa. Israel, fearing the hysteria itself that potential military action could unleash, in a speech made by IDF Chief of General Staff Aviv Kochavi on December 21 cautioned Iran not to attack Israel, stating that “the Jewish state will retaliate against any aggression”. Along with that, A. Kohavi evidently pointedly forgot to mention that it is not Iran, but Israel itself, that has already demonstrated its aggressive stance toward the Islamic Republic to the whole world by organizing and initiating acts of terrorism and assassinations – and not only against nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. After all, this is far from the first time that Iranian scientists and leading representatives from Iranian society have been killed by an Israeli act of terrorism. For example, in Tehran, five nuclear physicists have been assassinated recently – and this specifically includes Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, the architect of Iran’s ballistic missile program. All this points to the systematic destruction of the best Iranian scientists employed in the defense industry, which is being accomplished by the international community with impunity. This series of assassinations of prominent Iranian scientists, politicians, and military personnel – who ended up being unacceptable for the United States and Israel – substantiates the suspicions first voiced long ago that Western intelligence services and Israel have adopted the terrorist practice of eliminating key personnel and various prominent figures in those countries with which they are at war; this is done to weaken their defense systems and technological potential. In addition to the words it speaks to help deter Tehran, Tel Aviv has taken a series of measures to test the combat readiness of its army against any potential foreign attacks, and is active about consulting with Washington – especially with representatives from the Pentagon – about how to work out joint coordination for the two countries to take military action against Iran. In particular, large-scale, unprecedented exercises came to an end in December, during which the capabilities of the three levels of Israel’s anti-missile defense (ABM) systems to neutralize various air threats were put to the test. Senior Israel Defense Forces officers, according to the Internet publication Breaking Defense, held “negotiations on coordination work” with their counterparts in the US Central Command (CENTCOM, which includes the Middle East) to bolster cooperation between the armed forces in the two countries “against Iran possibly taking revenge in the region”. According to this publication, the IDF has reached its highest degree of readiness, in particular with regard to repelling “some of the 140,000 missiles that Iran-backed Hezbollah has in Lebanon, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen”. At the same time, it has been reported that although the Israeli command does not disclose the details about how it prepares for war, its tactical and operational anti-missile defense systems, and long-range missile systems, are still on high alert. In addition, as reported by The Times of Israel, on December 17, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley arrived in Israel as part of his Middle East tour to discuss the threat that Iran poses to Washington’s allies, including the Jewish state. As part of preventive measures taken against the armed situation in the region potentially escalating, Israel began to actively spread out its naval fleet around Iran. An Israeli Navy Dolphin-class (Type 800) submarine carrying cruise missiles on board passed through the Suez Canal, and on December 21 demonstratively surfaced in the Persian Gulf, in the waters that stretch between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Dolphin is a series of German modified diesel-electric submarines that are specially designed for Israel, and which have from 6-10 torpedo tubes. Besides torpedoes, they are armed with mines and Popeye Turbo SLCM cruise missiles that have a range of up to 1,500 km, and are capable of carrying nuclear charges with a capacity of up to 200 kilotons launched from torpedo tubes. The Israelis regularly keep at least two of their submarines.in the Indian Ocean, in the immediate vicinity of the Persian Gulf. Today, in the assessments made by numerous experts, there is reason to presume that in January 2021, before Donald Trump leaves the White House, a joint American-Israeli missile strike could be launched against Iran, primarily to neutralize Iran’s air defense systems, as well as its nuclear industry facilities. However, while ramping up the degree of military tension in the region Tel Aviv and Washington cannot help but clearly see that Iran does not intend to attack either the United States or Israel. Iran is not in an ideal condition to wage war now, since its economy is seriously undermined by the restrictive measures imposed on its oil sales abroad, as well as by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, the deficit inflicting its national budget, and the weakening of its national currency. Yes, military operations “against American and Israeli aggressors” can raise patriotic sentiments in the Islamic Republic for a certain period, but they would quickly drain the Iranian economy and militaristic zeal. In addition, hoping for a change in the attitude taken toward it after the White House administration changes, for political and economic reasons it would now be clearly disadvantageous for Tehran to carry out any large-scale “retaliatory strike”. Therefore, the maximum that Tehran is capable of doing today, without causing itself significant damage, is to carry out a special operation against the Israelis involved in the murder of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh – or to inflict a targeted strike on American facilities in the region through its “proxies”. As for the United States, Israel, and their allies taking military action against Iran right now, it should be kept in mind that the Islamic Republic, despite all its existing economic problems, is a pretty tough nut to crack in terms of its military, and aggression against it would have serious costs. And this cost is obviously unacceptable for either Trump or Netanyahu, who intend to keep pursuing their political careers.
