I have NEVER been traumatized by a book before, like I have with Fire & Blood by GRRM. Poor Aerea Targaryen. Poor girl. I can't stop thinking about it. I can not function. My tummy doesn't feel well. . . I'm really glad it hasn't been shown in House of the Dragon. I don't think I could have handled seeing it.

A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF) Novel Series Revision

Dear mr. George Raymond Richard Martin, I think you really need to do revision to your ASOIAF (A Song of Ice and Fire) novel series. Like.. several parts in your series need to be revised/A.K.A re-writing. PLEASE, a lot of ASOIAF enthusiasts feel the same feeling just like me‼️❗️😭🥹🥺

I'm highly, highly, and highly SUGGESTING‼️❗️. But of course I know, as the AUTHOR, I know the decision is up to YOU SIR. I will not forcing, I'm just highly SUGGESTING as an enthusiast of ASOIAF.

Boy and old man and dandy and foreigner, all those were gone in an instant, and there was only York, the man himself, the power of him, the dream, the intensity. York’s eyes were gray, startlingly dark in such a pale face. His pupils were pinpoints, burning black, and they reached right into Marsh and weighed the soul inside him. The gray around them seemed alive, moving, like fog on the river on a dark night, when the banks vanish and the lights vanish and there is nothing in the world but your boat and the river and the fog. In those mists, Abner Marsh saw things; visions swift-glimpsed and then gone. There was a cool intelligence peering out of those mists. But there was a beast as well, dark and frightening, chained and angry, raging at the fog. Laughter and loneliness and cruel passion; York had all of that in his eyes."

Title: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Author: George RR Martin Rating: 5 / 5

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms compiles three novella's about the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall, better known as Dunk, and his loyal squire, Egg. Set in the world of Westeros from George RR Martin's ASOIAF series, it can still be enjoyed as a standalone. Yet I would highly recommend this book to any fans as a must read.

I enjoyed diving back into this world on a knight's journey, during a more prosperous time under Targaryen rule. The bright atmosphere of pavilions raised at Tourney's, accounts of untold heroes, and differing perspectives of Westeros' political players and commoners were wonderful. You can really feel GRRM's love of medieval history and jousting, with descriptions so vivid and exciting. The Trial of the Seven was so incredibly epic. Beautiful Illustrations from Gary Gianni bring even more charm and life to the written words within.

This book asks what does it mean to be a knight? What makes a true knight?

Through Dunk we find the answer as he strives to embody the qualities of a chivalrous knight who protects the weak and innocent. Even though he is lowborn, his deeds and attitude highlight the rotten corruption of the lords and knights who easily hold their titles. Honourable, loyal and admirable in standing up for what he believes to be right.

Due to his nature Dunk can be naive and oblivious, making for some hilarious situations. That is compensated for by the smarts and confidence of his loyal squire. Given the nickname Egg due to his shaved head, the small boy completes the amusing dynamic of this wholesome duo. I adored their relationship and camaraderie.

This book was epic, moving and tragic but also had many unexpected light hearted moments. The only downside to this novel is finding out that GRRM has planned out more novellas about this lovable duo that are still yet to be freed onto the page. And so my wait begins.

Fim da segunda temporada de A Casa do Dragão causa euforia na autora deste blog.

Se você é do tipo que espera a temporada acabar de ser lançada para começar a assistir a série, vamos falar hoje sobre a segunda temporada de A Casa do Dragão que finalmente - e infelizmente - chegou ao fim.

Se na primeira temporada eu não estava tão certa se valia a pena continuar a assistir a série ou não, hoje eu volto aqui dando a certeza para vocês que eu e minha casa servirmos ao conselho preto, e a Rainha legítima Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Após os conflitos do fim da primeira temporada, marcados pela coroação de Aegon e pela trágica morte do filho de Rhaenyra , Lucerys Velaryon, a segunda parte da série House of The Dragon, adaptação da obra de George R.R Martin, "Fogo e Sangue" (Fire & Blood), segue o início de uma possível guerra civil Targaryen. O conflito se dá entre a Casa Velaryon, possuidora da maior marinha de Westeros e de mais de uma dúzia de dragões, e a ascensão do manipulador rei Aegon II.

Essa temporada foi de um sabor, minha gente. Vou deixar o trailer para vocês sentirem um pouco do que foi essa nova temporada para quem não assistiu ainda. Teve Daemon na terapia, teve Alicent no retiro espiritual, teve confusão e gritaria, teve dragão fazendo churrasquinho do povo, metendo o louco e fugindo. Não faltou momentos bons na série dessa vez.

Indico muito ver os episódios da série seguidos dos vídeos feitos pelo PH Santos, que deu um show no seu canal do youtube com as análises, e os detalhes de cada episódio.

É uma pena termos que esperar dois anos para a nova temporada, mas a Max não vai nos deixar órfãos do universo de Gelo e Fogo outra vez e já tem uma nova série do universo criado por George R.R. Martin prevista para o ano que vem.
