Hijack follows a hijacked plane on it's way to London over the course of a seven hour flight.

Told in real time, Hijack stars Idris Elba and Archie Panjabi. The series was created by George Kay and Jim Field Smith. Kay also wrote the series and Smith served as lead director.

Hijack premieres on Apple TV+ on June 28, 2023.

I've never had so little to say about what has been perceived to be such a gargantuan hit. if you ask me, I think there's a lot of PR spin related to this show perceived success.

Kerry Katona says husband George Kay "not a monster”

There were more than a few raised eyebrows when reality star Kerry Katona welcomed hubby George Kay back into the family fold a couple of months ago.

The pair’s turbulent relationship came crashing down in October last year when Kerry kicked the 36-year-old out following claims he’d assaulted her, leaving her battered and bruised following a drinking session.

Charges were later dropped when Kerry decided to withdraw her statement against him on the day he was due to appear in court.

You’d think that would be enough to put anyone off, but the 35-year-old former Atomic Kitten star has decided to give her marriage to ex-rugby player George another bash.

“He’s not a monster, he’s one of the nicest men you can meet. He’s sweet, he’s funny, but we’ve both got fiery tempers,” Kerry explained to OK!

“I know people will say I’m a mug, but is giving my marriage another go a crime?” she continued. “We want a fresh start in our marriage, and I’m giddy about that now. We’re all touchy feely.”

Ex-bouncer George is Kerry’s third husband, and the pair have a daughter together, two year old Dylan-Jorge Rose.

She was previously married to Westlife star Brian McFadden, the father of her daughters Molly and Lilly-Sue, and ex-cabbie Mark Croft, dad to Heidi and Maxwell.

Admitting her relationship with George was tumultuous, in a previous interview with OK!, Kerry said breaking up was “hard” but “the right thing to do”.

However, since the pair tentatively met up again in August, she’s apparently had a change of heart.

“I missed him so much, and now I feel like this is a whole new romance again.”

Kerry Katona opens up about 'heartbreaking' George Kay split: 'It’s like somebody died'

Kerry had opened up for the first time since their split, admitting it was “hard” but was “the right thing to do.”

She explained: “George was with me 24/7. It’s like somebody has died. He was my best friend.” The mum of 5 added: “There is no going back with George and me. That is what hurts so much, as I know he is a good person.”

Kerry also confessed that she would never get married again following the breakdown of her marriage to George. Natasha Hamilton’s bandmate admitted that despite what went on, she would always have love for George as well as revealing she “missed him everyday”.

She said: “I think there will always be a part of me that will love George. I think the hardest thing is walking away from somebody you love so much, but it’s the right thing to do.”
