REVIEW ALERT 💥💥💥
Mavala Extra Mild Nail Polish Remover
I was recommended this by the sales associate at the local beauty supply store when I went to repurchase my usual nail polish remover by Zoya (my #1 nail polish remover by the way), but unfortunately it was out of stock so the sales associate recommended this polish remover to me.
Okay so first thought about it was it doesn’t remove nail polish easily, but keep in mind that this product is acetone free, so maybe that’s why. It absolutely sucks at taking glitter polish off even with the whole foil method. This remover also has like a oily consistency so I didn’t really like that, but after a couple of minutes though it will dry up. Every time I’m about to do my nails I always mentally slap myself because I didn’t have my Zoya polish remover and have to use this one, so I waste a bunch of cotton balls because of its consistency.
I have used this for a month now honestly I don’t think it’s the best nail polish remover out there in removing nail polish, but it is the most gentle for my nails and the oil consistency actually acts like a cuticle oil for me. My nails does feel stronger and much more healthy, my nails don’t crack or chip and I LOVE IT. I am a server so I’m constantly washing my hands so it’s so bad for the nails, but this polish has made a difference in my nails.
Pros: -extremely gentle -conditions nails (oily consistency acts like cuticle oil) -strengthening -acetone free -smell is not crazy strong
Cons: -sucks at removing glitter polish (even with foil) -takes a looooong time for polish to remove -oily -expensive ($9.99 for 3.3 fl. oz.)
Overall I would repurchase this, and use it every other time switching off between my Zoya nail polish remover and this one. I don’t really mind the oiliness of it, it will be absorb into your fingers. I do dislike the fact that I have to use a bunch of cotton balls just to remove a set of polish. But it did wonders to my nails so I don’t mind spending $10 on a polish remover. I would give Mavala Extra Mild Nail Polish Remover a 7/10, great for nail conditioning/strengthening, but not removing.
This review is purely my opinion and I am not sponsored by Mavala to review this product. If you have any questions please leave a comment below and I will be more then happy to answer it.
