There's Nothing She Won't Burn

i got annoyed that the shawl i was trying to knit wasnt making any sense so i started drawing instead to cope lmao. ended up with this and listening to The Stranger At My Door by Brandi Carlile wayyyyy too many times. i have it memorized now, whoops.

anyways, little blaze drawing with gaylia in the background. i wanted to try a new angle and see if i could make her wings look a bit better, which i think i succeeded at. did learn in the course of making this that i no longer know how to draw fire though! in old profile pictures, i used to have blaze (because she used to be on the profile picture) breathing fire but that phased out around 2018 or 2019 i think. now im fumbling to remember and trying to make use of fancy csp brushes skdfjb

hopefully, whatever the hell this amalgamation of chalk and crayon scribbles is suffices. there also will be a speedpaint to this but i'll update this post when it comes out.

i don't want anybody else touching you like i do

been awhile since ive drawn any of the era chronicles crowd but i wanted to see how i might draw them in my current art style, since i feel a lot more confident about a lot of things. those blue spots on gaylia are actually feathers or softer scales that feel a lot like feathers. still not satisfied with the way those wings came out but you cant win 'em all. i think i drew this the day after valentines day??? couldnt be bothered to draw a background
