Gaoshun on babysitting duty where it's watch the 2 with baby Maoamao who is angry kitten who just wants to apparently try and eat everything mildly poisonous and baby Jinshi who is following her around like a happy puppy and just wants to be at her side at all times and if told no will break the sound barrier with his sobbing.

He is not paid nearly enough for any of this.

Though he is kind of amazed that when around Maomao Jinshi doesn't whine or demand anything just sits there staring at her with big eyes just watching her.

Fengxian: I believe the young prince may like you Maomao

Lakan:*angry pouting at the idea of someone marrying his baby girl*

Maomao:...no he doesn't

Maomao so very confused because the only thing she equates with romance/couples is playing go/chess ... because the only couple she's really seen are her parents.

Jinshi and Maomao meeting again later with Maomao in rear palace and Jinshi posing as his role recognizing the other but pretending they don't...and both them thinking that their disguise has fooled the other.

Jinshi/Maomao: Thank goodness they don't know who I am my disguise is flawless

Gaoshun does not get paid nearly enough this.

Dumb random thoughts about little Maomao and Jinshi meeting in the AU where Lakan and Fengxian raise Maomao.

Moamao being dragged along to palace while emperor talks to Lakan ending up wandering off looking for herbs and flowers and running into little Jinshi (not realizing he's the prince and even if she did she'd probably act the same politics don't make sense to her like her parents playing go or chess she just wants to look at the herbs and plants here)

Little Jinshi crying form losing a toy or cause Maomao won't play with him and she ends up confused and just handing random herb/flower like 'this is way more interesting stop crying it's silly'.

Little Jinhsi there holding random herb eyes shining and he instantly enamored and follows her around like a puppy (only to burst out crying and have the biggest tantrum and being so sad she has to leave)

Emperor like... welp gonna have to figure out how to talk Lakan into an arranged marriage... not sure how i'll do that but i'd better do it soon for the sake of everyone's eardrums.
