Introduction

Shuu Edogawa is the third member of Sazanka Zombeez, popularly known as Men-H. His MC name is based on what he considers to be his main clientele: jealous or paranoid women who need mental health care that hire him to find out whether their spouses are cheating on them or not. While this isn’t exclusively what the women call themselves, nor is it his main audience, he takes on these particular cases with cheating spouses very seriously, having a warped view on romance because of it.

Aside from his work between domestic and cold cases, Shuu has a love for “cute” things, which can vary slightly from normal interpretations of the term. He especially has a love for “Yami Kawaii” fashion, which he likes to dress himself up in dresses and the like in the privacy of his home. He keeps this hobby mostly as a secret, aside from the few people who are aware of his secret.

Appearance

Shuu has blonde hair that is dip dyed pink to match his equally bright pink eyes, which messily covers the top of his head. Two tufts of hair permanently stick up from the back of his head.

Shuu wears a gray suit with a green tie, complete with his brown dress shoes. When he is outside, is can be seen with his matching fedora and/or his pink checkered coat. The team’s flower pin is usually attached to this coat’s collar.

Hypnosis Microphone

Shuu’s microphone takes the form of a small teal cassette recorder and radio. A giant corkboard with sticky notes, photos, and newspaper clippings all pinned up in the rough shape of a heart make up his speakers. Red string connect between random notes and clippings and flow around the board and Shuu when he uses his speakers. The amplifier rips a giant hole in the corkboard, often blasting the papers on it away like confetti.

Shuu’s rap ability “Frustration” affects his opponents emotionally, causing for them to either raise their attack while confusing the opponent or lowering their defense completely, leaving the opponent open to any attack. The effects of his ability is completely reliant on how the person receiving the attack reacts.

While Shuu’s raps tend to focus a lot on supporting his team and his audience by pumping them up with positive affirmations and compliments. However, Shuu can flip like a switch and deliver incredibly harsh and violent words back at opponents at a moment's notice. Shuu’s relatively high pitched bubbly voice is usually sung over cutesy chip-tune or elegant instruments with a beat. In contrast, his promises of violence paired with his deep growls are overlayed with base heavy tunes that are the cause of the notes on his speaker to fly around in a frantic blast.

Entomology

Shuu - Kanji can mean “study” or “discipline”.

Edogawa - Based off of the character Edogawa Ranpo, which is a transliterated name based on Edgar Allen Poe. The name can also mean intuition, enlightenment, and dreams.

Trivia

Shuu is right handed.

He loves anime girls, dinosaurs, and “cute” clothes. Shuu has a distinct dislike for dishonest or disloyal people.

His favorite food is cheese cake. Shuu dislikes carrots and peas.

Even though he has never personally met him (but has crossing paths with him thanks to his work), Shuu despises Hifumi Izanami solely based on his occupation.

Aside from the team leader Ryuko, Ramuda Amemura is the only other person who knows about Shuu’s fashion hobby since Shuu likes to buy Empty Candy brand clothes on occasion.

Shuu's detective agency, simply called "Alert" has a mascot which Shuu impulsively commissioned from Ryuko Umemoto. It appears as a stegosaurus girl, which Shuu calls Gao Gao.

Admission was a reasonable fifteen dollars a person, and despite the big park, the place wasn’t crowded.

Every ride was dinosaur themed, and looked super exciting, but the two roller coasters, King GAO, the stegosaurus, and Diving coaster, Vanish! We’re bigger draws.

The GAO coaster went up the tail and back of the stegosaurus, and dropped from the head. It turned a few times, with another big return hill under the Dino’s body and legs.

Vanish! Spiraled up, a few small drops, then one massive drop into a tunnel, popping up further on, and two small drops before the end.

Of course, Baby wanted to ride both.

The car was safely parked outside the motel, a thunderstorm pouring rain from the skies.

The night was late, everyone slept.

A bright bolt struck the Impala, speared through the engine block.

It was not ordinary lightning, but Chuck’s awful sense of humor and powers.

The noise had been deafening, even bringing a tree branch down on the sparking car.

But chuck’s plan to destroy the car backfired. The grace-laden bolt had reacted with the relics inside, and the wards etched into the car’s metal.

While the storm raged through, the lightning flashed again.

The car was gone, and a teenager with angel wings lay in its place.
