"I'm disheartened that Banaras has been glamorized, attracting overwhelming crowds that are more interested in taking Instagram-worthy ghats photos than genuinely seeking spiritual enlightenment.
The city's sacred essence is lost amidst the chaos, and it's heartbreaking to see the ghats, once serene and peaceful, now swarming with tourists chasing likes and followers.
Moreover, the influx of tourists has made it impossible for locals to enjoy their core festivals and traditions. Dev Deepawali, for instance, was once a cherished celebration for the people of Banaras, but now it's overshadowed by the noise and chaos of tourism.
Locals are forced to navigate through crowded streets, struggling to reach their own temples and ghats. The festivities, once a source of joy and community bonding, have become a stressful and overwhelming experience.
It's sad to see the authentic spirit of Banaras fade away, replaced by superficial attractions and shallow experiences. The city's identity is being eroded, and its people are paying the price."

Day 5
