🌍 Discover the small and diverse country of #Panama 🇵🇦 in #CentralAmerica and why this should be your next Holiday 🌞 Destination 🌍
🌟 Prices vary depending on what you want to do so please ask
👉 1. Introduction:
From the most researched tropical rainforest in the world; to breathtaking beaches; to a modern, skyscraper filled Business District - in less than 2 hours.
Sitting on the isthmus between Costa Rica and Colombia, Panama is the connector for Central and South America. The country spans over 75,000 square kilometres and has everything you could want from a vacation.
They’ll be wowed by its history, unique culture, beaches and year-round sunshine, and the sheer diversity of activities on offer will keep them busy for weeks. Plus, a chance to see the world-famous Panama Canal, which carves a line through the middle of the country to allow great cargo ships and cruise liners pass through, is surely a bucket list attraction.
👉 2. Where the World Connects:
Panama – the land that united the Americas; that separated and then connected the oceans. The land that transformed the planet's biodiversity and changed the world forever.
Panama finds itself not only at the crossroads between North and South America, but also between fast-paced cosmopolitan life and traditional earth-centered cultures; modernity and history; sun-drenched terrain and mysterious rainforest; science and nature and exhilaration and serenity.
Consider Panama the perfect immersive adventure option for the true and mindful travelers, especially those of you searching for authentic experiences.
👉 3. Uniquely Panama:
Panama City is the only city in Latin America with skyscrapers surrounded by the tropical rainforest, making it the only capital in the world with a tropical rainforest within its city limits.
Due to its snake-like shape, Panama is also the only country in the world where visitors can see the sun rise on the Pacific and set on the Atlantic oceans in the same day.
Panama City is just a short flight from almost anywhere in the Americas, thanks to the best-connected airport in Latin America, Tocumen International Airport, also known as the Hub of the Americas®, and is a city from where travelers can escape to their 5-star hotel room in the center of Panama City to visit indigenous communities, cultural and historical heritages of humanity, and pristine national parks within minutes.
👉 4. Beaches:
In Panama there's endless possibilities. You can choose and stay at the beach you like best or you can visit as many as you want, with over 3,000 kilometers of coastline and more than 1,000 islands in both the Pacific and the Caribbean.
Some of the options to choose from in the Pacific is the island of Taboga, just about 40 minutes by ferry from Panama City. Riviera Pacífica, a chain of beaches and islands extending all the way from Panama City to the province of Coclé, is another perfect destination for those who visit the city and want a tropical experience without going too far.
In the Pacific, you can also find Coiba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with pristine marine biodiversity, on the list of activities that your clients cannot miss.
Similarly, the Caribbean coast is not far behind. The perfect triad is composed by Colón, Bocas del Toro and Guna Yala.
Colón with its beautiful Playa Blanca (White Beach) of transparent waters in Portobelo; Bocas del Toro, with acres of protected beaches in the Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park; and Guna Yala with more than 365 wonderful islands and cays which will leave your clients speechless.
👉 5. Discover by nature:
In its natural beauty, its biodiversity and unparalleled landscapes, Panama is incomparable.
Near the capital there are multiple Natural Parks such as Chagres National Park, Camino de Cruces, Soberania National Park and Gamboa at just 30 minutes from the city.
Due to its geographical position, Panama is a resting point on the migratory route of numerous species of birds (more than Europe and North America combined) and even whales which travel from north to south and vice versa in search of warm climates.
👉 6. Panama Canal:
The Panama Canal is the world's greatest shortcut and one of the engineering wonders of our time. Built to dramatically decrease the travel time for ships between the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea, the Canal has seen over 900,000 vessels and counting.
At one point this engineering miracle was considered impossible to build, but today it brings commerce, cultures and people from all corners of the world closer together. Today this marvel of technology can be discovered in two visitor centers complete with observation decks, exhibits, and screening rooms.
One at the Miraflores locks, closer to the capital in the Pacific; and another at the new Agua Clara locks, 25 minutes from the city of Colon in the Atlantic.
👉 7. Gastronomy in Panama:
Designated a UNESCO Creative City in Gastronomy in 2017, Panama is a multicultural destination like few others, in which a large number of travelers from all corners of the planet have brought all their culture, thus influencing our culinary processes for more than five centuries.
In Panama all tastes are pleased: from ancestral recipes of native civilizations and Afro-Antillean Caribbean delicacies, to oriental culinary secrets and influence from the rest of Latin America.
All this gastronomic wealth is accompanied by natural tropical fruit drinks, artisan beers and authentic rums. To close the sensory experience, your clients must try Panama’s famous coffee, especially the exotic "Geisha" variety, acknowledged internationally as one of the best coffees in the world.
