It's been enough time where I think I might be ready to talk about Galko-chan again. The question is, is anyone else still interested in hearing about her?
If I go too long without talking about it, please tell me to post some Galko-chan content. Because I love that series and feel that every once in a while I just need to gush about it
#galko-chan#oshiete! galko-chan#please tell me! galko-chan#galko#i'm still bummed by what happened but the series is still great

I bring you the gift of sapphic rivalshipping:
Fem!rivalshipping AU where Kaiba is the school's ice queen student council president and Yugi is the poor sap who got resigned to treasurer who Kaiba takes an interest in.
I can see Yugi being torn between happy (because she is still a disaster bi and Seto is still hot) and wanting to weasel out of this so bad (because ugh she wanted to be a member of the 'Go-Home Club" and hang with her girls, not do more work at school).
Hot tall intimidating lady keeps her in the position, tho'. Maybe they can be friends and/or kiss????
Also lmao I can see Student Council President!Seto going full Satsuki Kiryuin on Domino High, she is to be respected and feared, dammit. 8|b
(She is quite puzzled when this tiny butch girl who stubbornly wears a boys' uniform is not afraid of her in the least.)
#yugioh#rivalshipping#chibi rambles#let girl!yugi be a cute butch girl 2k24#also picturing fem!jounouchi going for the kogal look#basically galko-chan if galko-chan wasn't afraid to kick your ass

Name Glossary - Please Tell Me! Galko-chan
Almos all of the characters in Please Tell Me! Galko-chan have nicknames based on one of their primary characteristics, and combined with a common Japanese name ending such as ''Ko'' or ''mi'' for girls, and ''o'' or ''ta'' for boys. Let's take a closer look!
Galko: from ''gyaru'' or ''Gal'', which is Galko's style. Gal subcultures is mostly associated with Japanese girls in their teens to late twenties: they're very fashionable, aften tan and/or blonde, and use a lot of unique slang. Galko also has a special sound effect in Japanese writeen as ''gyarun'' or ''gyarurun'' (which is punning off of ''gyaru''), so this is often translated as variations of ''galoing''.
Otako: from ''otaku'', a geek.
Ojou: literally ''young lady'', often describing a rich or especially proper girl.
Charao: from ''charai'', meaning flashy or superficial.
Otao: again from ''otaku'', a geek.
Supoo: from ''supootsu'', i.e. sports.
Iincho: from ''iinchou'', committee chairman/Class Rep.
Kuseta: from ''kuse'', curly or messy (as in his hair).
Tsunno: from ''tsundere'', a girl who outwardly mean to someone but secretly like them.
Kibami: from ''kibe'', fangs.
Agemi: from ''age'', literally ''up'' or ''going up'', which frequently appears in Gal girl slang like ''ageage'' (excitement/high spirit) or ''agepoyo'' (fun/happiness).
Yabana: from ''yabai'', another exclamation popular with Gals, which can mean ''awful'' or ''awesome'', depending on the context.
Okako: from ''okaruto'', occult.
Metako: from ''metal''.
Fushigi-chan: ''fushigi'' means a mystery, or as an adjective, ''strange'' or ''mysterious''.
Nikuko: from ''niku'', which means ''meat''.
