يحمل سامسونج جالاكسي ام 40 تصميما بدون حواف مع وجود الكاميرا الأمامية داخل الشاشة نفسها، كما يأتي مزودا بثلاثة كاميرات خلفية وذاكرة وصول عشوائي RAM بسعة 6 جيجابايت، مع سعر منافس يبلغ حوالي 290 دولار أمريكي ( حوالي 1000 ريال سعودي و5000 جنيه مصري أو أقل).

ويأتي Galaxy M40 جالاكسي ام 40 بشاشة قياسها 6.3 بوصة Infinity-O، بدون حواف تقريبا من جميع الأطراف بفضل وجود الكاميرا الأمامية داخل الشاشة نفسها على اليسار كما في Galaxy A8s، مع الاعتماد على الشاشة نفسها أيضا كسماعة للمكالمات، لكن سامسونج استخدمت شاشة LCD بدلا من Super Amoled في M30.

وزودت سامسونج هاتفها الذكي الجديد Galaxy M40 جالاكسي ام 40 بثلاثة كاميرات خلفية، الرئيسية بدقة 32 ميجابكسل بفتحة عدسة f/1.7، وأخرى للعمق بدقة 5 ميجابكسل، بالإضافة لكاميرا بزاوية واسعة جدا UltraWide بدقة 8 ميجابكسل، مع دعم تسجيل مقاطع الفيديو بدقة 4K ومقاطع الفيديو بالحركة بالبطيئة والمتسارعة، كما ��ودت سامسونج الهاتف بكاميرا للسيلفي بدقة 16 ميجابكسل.

ويعمل جالاكسي ام 40 بنظام التشغيل أندرويد 9.0 باي مع واجهة سامسونج الجديدة OneUI، كما يعمل بمعالج كوالكوم Snapdragon 675 ثماني النواة مع وجود ذاكرة وصول عشوائي بسعة 6 جيجابايت، ويتوفر الهاتف بسعة تخزين داخلية 128 جيجابايت يمكن زيادتها من خلال بطاقات الذاكرة الخارجية microSD حتى 512 جيجابايت، ويحمل الهاتف بطارية قدرتها 3500 ميللي أمبير/ساعة مع دعم الشحن السريع بقدرة 15 وات من خلال منفذ USB-C.

ويتوفر Galaxy M40 الآن للشراء في الهند بسعر حوالي 290 دولار امريكي، وذلك للإصدار بسعة تخزينية 128 جيجابايت ورام 6 جيجابايت باللونين الأزرق الفاتح والأزرق القاتم، وفي الوقت الذي لم تكشف فيه سامسونج أي تفاصيل عن موعد توفر الهاتف في الدول العربية، إلا أن توفر هواتف سلسلة جالاكسي M السابقة في السعودية وبعدها في مصر، يشير إلى توفر الهاتف الجديد أيضا.
