Tianguis Turístico, es la casa del Tianguis Turístico que nació en 1975 y que hoy gracias a todas y todos ustedes, se sigue manteniendo en casa. Por eso estamos muy contentos, de poder recibirlos, que sean testigos de este gran renacimiento, que constaten el resultado de un esfuerzo sin precedentes entre el gobierno y la sociedad", expresó en su mensaje la jefa del Ejecutivo estatal. En el acto de inauguración, la mandataria estatal expresó su agradecimiento a los asistentes por su respaldo y confianza hacia Acapulco, pero también por la gran solidaridad que mostraron hacia este destino y sus habitantes luego del embate del huracán Otis hace poco más de cinco meses. En este contexto, la gobernadora dijo que estos logros en materia de reconstrucción y que han permitido que Acapulco esté de pie, son resultado de

un esfuerzo sin precedentes entre sociedad y gobierno, con un trabajo decidido en las distintas tareas de limpieza y rehabilitación. "Este Tianguis no es un Tianguis cualquiera, este es un Tianguis muy especial. Es un Tianguis emotivo, es un Tianguis de renacimiento, es un Tianguis en donde efectivamente lo podemos llamar el Tianguis del Ave Fénix, donde Acapulco renace de esas cenizas", añadió. Por ello, agradeció de manera especial al presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, quien desde el primer momento apoyó al puerto y no lo ha soltado de su mano. "Muchas gracias presidente porque Acapulco no sería lo mismo sin esta generosidad, ese apoyo y esa solidaridad", enfatizó la mandataria.

Como parte del evento protocolario, se proyectó un video mensaje del presidente de México, quien expresó su deseo de que este evento sea todo un éxito. "Vamos adelante, porque Acapulco es un pueblo que merece un mejor destino", dijo. En su participación, el titular de Turismo federal Miguel Torruco, se unió a este reconocimiento al esfuerzo para lograr el renacimiento del puerto; a nombre del presidente de México inauguró de manera oficial la edición 48 del evento de turismo más importante de América Latina. "Viva Acapulco, que Acapulco ya está renaciendo, porque tiene a su gran población acapulqueña, siempre presente, quienes han ayudado a sacar en esta crisis y a ver de forma positiva para bien del turismo", sostuvo. Gabriela fue la primera víctima de los ataques violentos de su madre, siendo que esta era una mujer super transfobica y lo veía como algo inmoral, cuando Gabriela quiso decirlo catherine literalmente le amenazó con hecharle de la casa si volvía a decir algo así, tiempo después paso de las palabras a los puños, siendo que gabriela pese a ser muy buena en los deportes era muy mala en los estudios y esto no le gustó a catherine quien llegó a golpearla al punto de romperle huesos con la excusa de que así no se concentraria en los deportes y estudiaría más.

Gabriela le rogó a su padre que le pidiera el divorcio a catherine, que ya tenían suficiente, connard le prometió que le pediría el divorcio, sin embargo cuando lo hizo catherine lo asesino, gabriela fue quien llamó a la policía para que detuvieran a su madre, en el juicio gracias al testimonio de Gabriela y su hermana lograron que catherine fuera condenada a cadena perpetua. Poco tiempo después obtuvo su nueva identidad de género y se cambió el nombre a gabe, además de que pudo entrar a la universidad.

In Anthropomorphic Imagery in the Mesoamerican Highlands, Latin American, North American, and European researchers explore the meanings and functions of two- and three-dimensional human representations in the Precolumbian communities of the Mexican highlands. Reading these anthropomorphic representations from an ontological perspective, the contributors demonstrate the rich potential of anthropomorphic imagery to elucidate personhood, conceptions of the body, and the relationship of human beings to other entities, nature, and the cosmos.

Using case studies covering a broad span of highlands prehistory—Classic Teotihuacan divine iconography, ceramic figures in Late Formative West Mexico, Epiclassic Puebla-Tlaxcala costumed figurines, earth sculptures in Prehispanic Oaxaca, Early Postclassic Tula symbolic burials, Late Postclassic representations of Aztec Kings, and more—contributors examine both Mesoamerican representations of the body in changing social, political, and economic conditions and the multivalent emic meanings of these representations. They explore the technology of artifact production, the body’s place in social structures and rituals, the language of the body as expressed in postures and gestures, hybrid and transformative combinations of human and animal bodies, bodily representations of social categories, body modification, and the significance of portable and fixed representations.

Anthropomorphic Imagery in the Mesoamerican Highlands provides a wide range of insights into Mesoamerican concepts of personhood and identity, the constitution of the human body, and human relationships with gods and ancestors. It will be of great value to students and scholars of the archaeology and art history of Mexico.

An archaeologist specializing in the north-central and western parts of Mexico, she is the director of an excavation project on the Preclassic Chupícuaro in the Lerma Valley and author of Entre Zacapu y Río Lerma: Culturas en una zona fronteriza, Las representaciones rupestres del centro-norte de Michoacán, and Cueva de los Portales: Un sitio arcaico de Michoacán, México.

Christopher Beekman is associate professor of anthropology at the University of Colorado Denver. His research focuses on sociopolitical organization in ancient western Mexico. He has directed excavation projects at Llano Grande and Navajas and surveys in the La Primavera region and the Magdalena Valley. He is a coauthor of the first volume of the Historia de Jalisco and has coedited several books, including Shaft Tombs and Figures in West Mexican Society.

Al hacer uso de la palabra, la presidenta de la Junta de Coordinación Política, diputada Yoloczin Domínguez Serna, dijo que al Poder Legislativo le ocupa y preocupa que la niñez guerrerense sea testigo de actos de corrupción de quienes ocupan cargos públicos, situación que tiene que erradicarse. La legisladora felicitó el talento de cada uno de los concursantes y celebró el apoyo que les brindaron sus familias para ser parte de este ejercicio de participación ciudadana y fomento de valores.
