I deeply believe it is a law of nature that as soon as you get turned into a vampire (especially if male), your top three buttons just magically open up or the top of your shirt unties, because...

Peter Steele (despite his controversies) would have been a perfect Gabriel De Leon fancast and I’m almost 100% convinced Jay thinks so too and that he took major inspo from Type O Negative’s discography in writing this series

Anyways, I’m deep in the trenches of both Empire of the Vampire and the goth/doom metal genre rn, I’ll be back with more similarities soon probably

Silly Game Time: Who are the protagonists of two of your favorite stories? (could be from any media: movies, shows, novels, games, comics, etc.)

AND, in a breakdancing contest, which of them would win?

Oh this is a good one. Gabriel De Leon (Empire of the Vampire) and Frodo Baggins (the Lord of the Rings).

Both live in worlds where breakdancing probably doesn’t exist but with a little bit of suspension of disbelief I think this would be a close one, with Frodo pulling out some classic Shire moves while Gabriel mutters about how he “doesn’t dance” but then Frodo does an impressive move which motivates Gabriel who does some absolutely insane stuff and steals the show completely. Gabriel wins but Frodo does very well.

I feel like Jean and Gabriel would get so incredibly agitated and pissed off at some point, they'd drop everything, throw in a quick, little, hot and dirty round of hatesex against a stone wall, readjust their clothes after, sit down again and continue with their weird ass interview while the air still reeks of sweat and blood
