Here's a thing I made recently - the Regal Moth Skyscale from Guild Wars 2!

This art doll has a metal wire as a skeleton, to which I added stuffing and fabric to bulk up the shape. I then added faux fur and made the details out of polymer clay, which I then painted with acrylic paints. The tail is made by a series of clay "cups" strung together with elastics, which makes it poseable. The wings have a wire skeleton which makes them poseable as well, and the wing membranes were made of fabric painted with fabric paint! The skyscale is about 27 cm long and has a wingspan of about 58 cm.

I spent way too many hours making this and one of the wings broke off as I was taking the final pictures. lol.

been desperately wanting to get into gw2 fanart SO i thought id start with some sketches of one of my toons. Aspen!! very creative sylvari name i know but i think she is very pretty,, i gotta render out a proper piece!! (no gamers.. i dont have tsb.. but im half way thru crafting it and i am manifesting!! I did craft Ipos yesterday thoughvv, gotta draw my main so I can include her leggies tbh)

wip but I'm far too excited to show off my newest GW2 OC, Phila 🥺💕 Her concept is a little bit "autoimmune disease", a little bit "cancerous", and a little bit "sylvari body horror".

She is a sylvari forcibly-awoken during the events of the S2 delegation when the Shadow of the Dragon attacked the Pale Tree. She was gravely injured during her pre-mature awakening and is attuned to necromantic magics!

Being a necromancer and a dragon minion of the Dragon of Life & Plants, she is predisposed to collecting lifeforce which tends to fuel her overactive structure, encouraging constant new growth without a definite "cap". Her body doesn't really know what to do with injuries, either, so it tends to try to "fix" them with more new growth.

Had the recent pleasure to paint this heroic pair - a charr Deadeye and his asura Mechanist companion. Loved painting these two!
