Current Grian WIP. I didn’t use a reference at all and I’m going off of memory I’m actually so happy it’s going well. Full piece will have an extra toga version because I am drawing this at work and I do not want my co workers thinking I draw smut. Tbf working at a pool is great for my art because I see so many different varieties of people with so many different body types.

the reason i’m doing this even tho i’m not a huge fan of monster high is because i’m even less of a fan of g3

i don’t think all of the designs are bad. i love venus’ g3 design and draculaura is lowkey kind of cute. mainly i’m just mad that they changed the color palettes of the characters (like frankie). but also i think some of the clothes they chose for most of the characters are just ugly or not cute or no at all som thing they would wear

the main defense i see for g3 is that it’s not 2011 anymore so the characters obviously aren’t going to be dressed like g1. that’s true. but that doesn’t mean they have to be out here wearing (let’s be honest) fugly outfits. modern clothes can be cute too!! 😭
