Gossip says they can be oblivious, but they’re redeemable because they’re also endearing. When ever I hear their name I think of woods filled with snow, morning runs and snapbacks. If you asked them one thing they couldn’t live without they’d probably say his favorite hoodie. If you hear in motion (the range remix) by colouring blasting you know ludde is near by. 

SUMMARY

A CHARMING MOTHERFUCKER WITH A SECRET OR TWO.

BACKGROUND

ludvig eskett aka ludde was born in the beautiful, but very cold town of bergen, norway in 1994. he grew up in a sweet and loving family, surrounded by nature and outdoor activities. 

he is the youngest of two boys and along with his brother, he had a very happy and active childhood. from a young age, it became obvious that our boy was gifted when it came to sports. 

so, his parents, very smartly, enrolled him in the town’s children’s hockey team and the rest was history. the boy only got better and better at it, always team captain, always the coaches’ favorite player, the team’s golden boy.

going into high school and his teenage years, ludde LOVED the popularity that his hockey star status gave him. he had girls and boys adoring him and he always made most of it, starting to explore with both (he’s my pansexual baby love).

( mental health tw ) however, things for ludde started to change. from feeling like he was constantly on top of the world, suddenly all the love and affection of an entire town didn’t feel like it was enough. sometimes he just couldn’t bring himself to care about anything or anyone, barely finding the strength to get out of bed in the mornings, his performance in hockey now a ghost of what it used to be. his parents and coaches took notice and after blurry long months of visits to the doctor, ludvig was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. 

for a few years, it felt as if ludde and his support net had things under control. some days were harder than others but he was finally learning to live with bipolar. he was about to graduate from high school and had plenty of university offers from all over europe and the united states alike. ludde felt on top of the world again. he was feeling so so good, he decided to stop taking his meds. 

and then one day, another manic episode arrived. he had been feeling the symptoms for a few days prior but still, he was feeling so good. it was his high school prom night after all. he had been drinking pretty much all evening and well into the night with his friends and his teammates. then ludde and his best friend thought it might be a good idea to drive to the fjords to see the sunrise and so they took ludde’s father’s car and drove into adventure. ludde, manic and drunk, crashed the car not too far away from bergen. his first instinct was to call his older brother who very quickly got to the scene and told his brother and his friend to disappear before the police arrived. no university would want a drunk driver with a misdemeanor charge. so, ludde fled the scene and his brother took the fall for him. ( mental health tw ends here )

now it must be noted that ludde’s brother didn’t have such a clean perfect record as his brother. he had already been caught driving under the influence and in possession of drugs. so this was the last straw and he was sentenced to serve jail time.

ludde’s family made sure to hide his involvement in the crash very well, it’s their best kept secret. and so they decided it was best to keep him as far away as possible, they couldn’t risk the guilt or his sense of righteousness to get in the way of his hockey career.

that’s how ludde ended up in atlas city. after accepting the scholarship offer from the town’s university, he has been here for about 5 years. 

his relationship with his family is quite estranged now and he has not been back home since the day he left. even though he resents his parents for putting hockey first, he still wishes to make up with his brother.

however, he’s overall very happy now. enjoying his last year of university and taking care of his mental health, day by day, minute per minute.

HEADCANONS

ludde’s goal is to become a pro hockey player and play for NHL, ‘cause well, that’s what his parents wanted of him. but he’s slowly caring less and less about all that. 

he’s basically disney’s hercules ok. kindest, most loyal motherfucker you’ll ever meet. seriously, people take advantage of him VERY easily. 

he’s studying sustainable design and architecture in atlas U. he dreams of working on that field one day.

LOVES the snow and thrives on colder climates. do with that info whatever you want.

also, probably not a headcanons but i based ludde off another ludde from the swedish webseries eagles and my LOVE, SUNSHINE, even bech næsheim from skam og.

and you know that song liability by lorde? well, that’s how he feels most of the time, he just hides it very well.

ALSO!!! HE WAS KEPT THE CAR CRASH AND HIS MENTAL ILLNESS PRETTY MUCH A SECRET FROM EVERYONE IN ATLAS. OK, I’M FINISHED FOR REAL NOW.
