hi, I’m going to recap today :)

- my day started off bad.. last night I catched up with my cousin after 2 weeks and I told her about my hyper sexual issue and the fact I’m talking to very old guys and sending nudes and FaceTiming guys at the age of 16. She told me how her life has gotten a lot better and even has her first boyfriend now who loves her very much. I guess I was jealous. I envy her. Or envied her. So, I was upset. I am very happy for her but I was sad because I felt unlovable I’m never had a boyfriend or a first kiss. I haven’t had any talking stages either it makes me feel as if I’m unlovable and there is no one out there for me. I was listening to rap songs as this happened so I didn’t feel or care as much and I got over it quickly and realized there’s 7billion people in the world just because she has a boyfriend doesn’t mean I won’t get one!! Everyone’s path is different. I’m sure he will come once it’s time. I also blocked the 32year old guy I was talking to yesterday thanks to my online friend. It took a lot of courage but I blocked all the guys I sent to :) afterwards I went to sleep.

- today I woke up feeling extremely exhausted. Mentally and physically. Maybe it’s because I start my period at the end of this week? Or maybe todays is just one of those days. I ended up eating chips & watching the ultimatum for about 2 hours. Then I hated on my body because of my scars for about an hour. Afterwards I finally got up and took a shower. I did my after shower routine and I felt good. I smelled nice and I was CLEAN my hair was soft and clean. I went to sams club with my family besides my sister because she decided to stay home. I had created a list of things to do today before I took a shower so I wanted the shopping run to be quick. We got food and there was a slight problem at the end but it was solved. We went to Taco Bell after and I saw the guy I use to think was cute working there ( I’m shocked ) …. we came home and my brother and I put everything away. I thought I was going to get some of my work done but then my entire family went to my mama(uncle) house. He lives 35 minutes away … before we left I decided to delete social media for good. For at least a few months until I feel better about myself. My goals is 3 months to get my life together. I want to love myself and I feel like social media distracts me too much. Once we got there we ate some mango & grapes and I toured the house.

- We came home and i immediately went to go find my cat Angel :) after playing with her I got to cleaning. I vacuumed everywhere and wiped the floor. I picked my outfit for tomorrow and I think it’s so cute. I’m wearing a tube top and as I was searching for my patch one of my drawers got stuck. My sister gave me her patch and I pulled the drawer out & I found 145$!! I am shocked lol wtf!! I’m very happy and grateful I found my money though. I put my supplies back and put a blanket up on my door that connects to the kitchen for more privacy. I cleaned angles litter box, made my bed, too I picked up all the trash in my room, threw my trash outside, and put all my clothes on the floor away. My sister waxed my armpits & then I ate some corn that was cooked in the grill with my family. After I finished eating I did my algebra 2 homework it was quite confusing but after a bit of research I kind of got it. I made my grwm to sleep as I debrief tiktok video & then I brushed/flossed. My brother came in with snacks that we got from the store today. I went to the kitchen and divided the other snacks and my cat also came inside my room. I changed her water & gave her food. Now she’s sitting on my window seal as I’m writing this. I am currently under my blanket & am listening to music ( show me by kid Ink) on my Bluetooth speaker. Life feels good.

- I am very proud of myself for deleting Snapchat. When I was in my sending addiction for validation from men I made quite some genuine ( I hope ? ) friends. I wanted to continue talking to them even tho I knew they were holding my back from 100% focusing on myself. But, today I deleted it! Hopefully in 3months I don’t see myself blocked by them. I told them beforehand that I’m deleting snap and I’ll talk to them in a few months. Now im going to focus on myself 100%. Tomorrow I want to wake up early and put eyelashes on, put fake tattoos on & even do this day of the week outfit video. It’s now 11:41pm. I am quite tired. School also feels less stressful now that I’m not focused on making friends or being anxious about what people think about me. I remind myself I’m only there to get education and that once I’m out of school, I feel so much better. :).

My cat is starting to meow so I’m going to pet her until she sleeps and I’m going to sleep as well! I’m planning to wake up at 5:00 tomorrow to be make sure I have enough time for school. Goodnight ;) I feel happy right now.

Kei, Jay, Cyrus, Mark, Kimmy, and Sky are all friend, but not all of them are online content creators. So, heres a break down of their their social media and workkk

Kei started posting faceless pics (like scenery, the game he just bought/beat, tickets to the movie he saw, food, etc) on ig and tumblr. He then started making silent/faceless vlogs and started growing a small following. Even in some of his vlogs he'd show his face (masked) or small voice snippets. He also started doing dance covers on tiktok and youtube. Most of his content is around coming out of his shell, anime/manga, gaming, and journaling.

Jay is a streamer on twitch. He's a variety streamer usually playing what popular and horror games. He has also streamed other content like cooking, legos, and whatever else he feels like. Usually these special streams are based on channel goals.

Cyrus is micro influencer making vlogs on fashion, being an alien on Earth, GRWM, etc. Just youre typical vlogger maybe some slight edge to nerd with some gaming, anime/cosplay, kinda stuff. Big enough to get some modeling gigs and invited to influencer meet ups.

Mark is a college student(computer science) with a part time job in either a book store or gaming store. He usually lurks around on twitter, discords, forums, and so on. He has a private ig that he only made for Cyrus to tag in pics. Rarely posts on it, but once hanging out with the group he starts to post every not and again.

Kimmy films tiktoks, posts ootds on instragram, and has made a few youtube videos (lookbooks, online window shopping stream vod, gaming vod), but doesn't view any of it as a job and just does it for fun. She still streams on twitch every blue moon gaming or just chatting when she's bored. She does have a real life job either retail or food service as a server. She enjoys making social media accounts, but gets bored and bounces around on what she's active on. She's most active on ig and twitter.

Sky has an ig she posts gymbro shit and cute pics of Kimmy. She's also a college student (computer science) and has a part time retail job at sporting good store or shoe store. She's the most normie out of the group. She spends most time on ig or watching youtube(vlogs, cooking videos, drama vids she watches with kimmy)

Parents, Early Mornings, Jobs and Makeup

This morning i am in an awful mood and i do not really know why

My parents are annoying me without even really doing anything

I do some freelance work and i have to meet a client later this week and my mom has to drive me. The client wants me to go see a gallery sometime be fore we meet. My mom had terrible memory and I’ve been reminding her everyday that all of this has to happen this week. this morning my dad says “i heard you dont have to go all the way out to see your client and you only have to go to the gallery! thats great!” and i have to explain, no, i have to do both. its just constantly having to explain things when i have given them all the facts sooooooo many times before gets really really annoying and it happens everyday. I hate having to repeat myself and with my parents i’m not just repeating myself to one parent, i have to repeat myself to both and then go to the other and repeat again bc they’ve been told the wrong info from the other parent! its just constant back and forth bc they’re both old and losing their memory

its a little complaint and not that big of a deal but its one of those things that wears on you after a while. 

anyway i thought i was doing okay this morning until i came out my room and that happened and now i feel really upset. I think i hold too much anger. 

One good thing is that i did not sleep in this morning! T dropped me off around 8:00 am and usually i just go back to sleep bc when you have nothing to do all day and no where to go being up 10:00am means you have a reallllllllyyyyyyyy long day ahead of you doing....nothing! I feel like T shames me when i go back to sleep after he drops me off. Especially since he has not choice, he has to go back to work. First of all if i dont go back to sleep, no one else is up (not that i would really want to hang out with my parents that early anyway) so i’m just by myself with nothing to do. if anything i’ll go online and i feel like i’m already on my computer enough during the day... why should i be on it in the morning as well! i can’t read bc that will make me sleepy and then i’m just groggy the whole rest of the day. But the most important reason of all why i usually don’t go back to sleep, which i feel like T doesnt know, is that being awake for SO long all day with literally NOTHING to do makes me extrememly depressed. So if i go back to sleep when he drops me off, the day is shorter and I don’t have to feel depressed for so long.

But he thinks i’m being lazy, which i suppose is true, but i wish he would see it from my pov. I wish i had a job to go to. I wish i had a car and a fucking drivers license so i could go and do things. but i dont so i have to sit at home and pray that maybe my mom has to go to the grocery store today so that just maybe i can get out of the house.

i want a job so bad. they say that i’m lucky to have all of this time to myself and that i should be exploring interests. granted, its only been about 4 months since i graduated but when you have nothing to do for 4 months it feels like youre in purgatory. i feel guilty for not enjoying having time to myself, for not using the most of it. but what am i supposed to be doing? i dont have money to do anything or to “explore” 

I should also def get a fucking license before i get a fucking job, its a whole domino affect of why nothing is happening in my life

i also dont even want a real job. I’ve always fantasized about being an actress (i’m a big attention whore) or some one famous. Literally when i want to rant about something i imagine myself as a guest on the graham norton show or on the tonight show and suddenly my problems are just anecdotes to tell. I would love to have a youtube where i can discuss film and makeup. I would also love to be a makeup artist. I also want to make miniatures! I want to be a model! I want a million different things that are NOT a real job.

i just watched that sarah schauer video where she explains how to sell feet pics and honestly...my feet are stunning and i could probably make a pretty penny.

But T would be so upset and he would never let me do it, which is understandable. I would be jealous if he was sending pics of himself to other girls. And i would never want to lie to T or keep anything like that from him, especially something that could hurt him so much. But money is monneeeyyy and if i ever DID sell feet pics it would have to be on the way DL. 

I wish i had a camera that took video bc i would just film a makeup grwm today but alas i dont so.... once again nothing to do! 

but dont worry i’ll think of something and honestly i feel better for just typing this out

It’s that time of year again when Fashion is all the buzz around New York City!

I am going to a few shows this season, per my friend Audra’s invites, and I am so excited. Fashion week is a busy time for the entire city and I feel very lucky and grateful to witness even a small part of it.

My schedule was booked on Saturday with shows, a pop up, and shooting outfits. I barely had enough time to eat throughout the day, I mainly had snacks at home. I am trying to not spend a lot of money during Fashion Week so anytime I can be at home for food its a plus!

I start my day with a giveaway from Glossier (I’m an affiliate – read post here). Thank you to all who entered, it was so much fun and I hope to do another one soon with Glossier!

Then, I did a get ready with me (GRWM) on Insta stories showing my makeup look for the day. I went with a blue graphic eyeliner that comes up to my crease. I left the lid clear to give emphasis on the lines. I rush to put on my first outfit, which was this silk dress from COS. I felt it was so unique with the blue and green watercolor pattern and the specific ties across the dress. It was so comfortable and flowy. I paired it with a blue Mansur Gavriel bag and Marais USA shoes to complete this aqua inspired look.

I arrive to the NOLCHA shows at 12pm to see a designer from China – 3ZM by Luyang Yanglu. It is always interesting to me to see designers from outside the US because they have such a different outlook on fashion and I love learning from that.

I head back home to eat lunch, change clothes, and transition my makeup. I go back on Insta stories to show how I fill in my eyeliner completely to create a thick, blue wing. I wanted a more dramatic eye for a simpler outfit.

The outfit is focused on the form of this top from COS (similar here). I like how it obscures my figure and creates another shape. I paired it with some trousers from Massimo Dutti, gold sandals, and an elegant YSL bag. I loved this outfit because it was casual, yet still really pretty and chic.

I decided to switch my schedule around for the afternoon and see a later show, so I can visit the new Target 20th Anniversary pop-up. Target brought back all the designer collection collaborations they did over the years.  You can shop the designer collection on that day (Sept 7) before the collection drops in stores and online September 14. I will do a post about that very soon on the blog, so keep an eye out for what I bought!

From the pop-up, I rush back to Chelsea to see the Oxford Collective shows. This is a part of a design studio that houses small designers. They all show their collections at once, with a few seconds to spare in between. The collections were smaller than other shows and more simple. Some designers had more formal ensembles and others showed more of a simple silhouette with neutral colors.

I am super exhausted by this time and my boyfriend and I find a restaurant in West Village to eat called Boucherie. AMAZING FRENCH FOOD!

I go back to my apartment to decompress from the day and rest up. Sunday is a day off because I am still a student and I need to catch on work and sleep.

On Monday, I have class and attend the Hogan McLaughlin show in the evening. This collection was my favorite so far. The geometric cuts, the color combinations, the mixing of textures, and the structure of all the pieces were just sublime. I could totally see myself wearing this collection. I had so much excitement watching the show!

I wore a milky white dress. I wanted to channel what the designer is interested in and after some research I noticed the silhouettes, colors, and hems were similar to this COS dress I own. I paired it with some red boots from AndOtherStories for a pop of color and this super cute bag from DOOZ. The brand DOOZ let me borrow this bag for a show and I am so thankful for that. I will have a special post about the bag and what the brand is all about next week.

Fashion week is so much fun. I love creating looks and sticking to my style but making it more elevated. I love watching the shows that I can attend and seeing all the action in real life. I also love running into famous Instagram influencers and big people in the fashion industry.
