2.  Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?

not specifically no, but I have a feeling she and Anders would get along

3. How did you choose their name?

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

most definitely her being disowned and sent to the Circle by her parents and the mage-templar conflict in general

6. Is there any significance behind their eye color?

one of my friends has these ice blue eyes with gold flecks around her pupils and I just think it’s the prettiest thing in the world. it’s very striking, which I think is fitting for Thalia, and it contrasts well with her black hair.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

we both have pretty low self-esteem (I’m not nearly as bad as her though), and I think having a character learning to love herself after thinking so little of herself really helps me to get over my self-image issues

9. Are they based off of you, in some way?

not really, more like she reflects traits I wish I had, like not giving a Flying Fuck 

10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person? 

honestly I really love the Circle-mage-who-hates-the-Circle x Cullen dynamic, bc it’s a bit of an enemies to friends to lovers type deal (which is my WEAKNESS). they’re also people who have experienced a lot of suffering, and I like to think that they help each other through their pain. they both see so little in themselves but so much in each other, and they want the other to see what they see.

11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation? 

I did know she would be bi, since it’s part of her backstory. I’m bi myself so I try to make characters that give some representation, bc I need more bi representation in my life.

12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?

just trying to make her face like I imagine it with my limited skills lol

13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

not too far. I do know that they start a family and have a daughter and a son and live hAPPILY EVER AFTER BC I JUST WANT MY BABIES TO BE HAPPY.

15. What is something about your OC that can make you laugh?

how well she can absolutely ROAST someone in a matter of seconds and act like she didn’t just totally take someone down

16. What is something about your OC that can make you cry?

how little she thinks of herself, like I MADE YOU A QUEEN FOR A REASON WHY CAN’T YOU SEE IT

17. Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?

I’m debating on whether or not she reconciles with her parents eventually… I have a sick idea that they invite her to a dinner at her old home, only to find out that her dad is working for (-insert baddie organization-?? I’m not sure which would make sense yet) and was ordered to look for weaknesses in her and the Inquisition. SO MUCH ANGST AND HEARTBREAK. I’m not sure if I can do that to her.

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

not only does she sing beautifully, but she writes songs as well. it helps her cope. :’)

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

she will always stand up for what she believes in and will never be a bystander
