BUT MY FAVORITE IS MAX‼️‼️‼️hes been my fav ever since i started watching it love him… my second favorite is kai probably though LOL. I can tell hes one of those fan favorite characters right🤔usually characters like him are… not a bad thing just an observation lol. Metal fight beyblade was the beyblade show i had known my entire life and was a big fan of so i wanted to see the other beyblade shows with it and for some reason i watched beyblade burst before bakuten shoot ????? Yeah that 7 season show i only liked the very first season of… the rest was so boring and for some reason i forced myself to watch it by using it as background noise😭

idk why i didnt give up and watch bakuten instead, took me too long lmfao. Th reason why i mentioned metal fight is that since i knew that show my entire life i had certain expectations on certain type of characters (ik bakuten came first but metal couldve been influenced by it and it was bcs there are similarities lol) (i mean king [from bakuten] looks almost identical to dynamis [from mfb] <- thats just one example) so i thought, while i was watching season 1, Kai Hiwatari was gonna be like Kyouya Tategami where hes with the team yes but doesnt see himself as a part of it and is there for himself only bcs hes a loner or whatever but then that thing at the end of the season happened he became a part of the team and the didnt have random unnecessary off screen character regression like kyouya did in the next 2 seasons (and also isnt an asshole abt it like when he left temporarily to battle takao in g revulotion he wasnt like “fuck you dumbass” like kyouya did basically 😭😭)….

That was so refreshing to see bcs thats not what i was expecting and thank god it exceeded my expectations 😭 thats why i keep saying kai is kyouya done right bcs he kinda is…. Though i find it funny when hes just standing in the background w his arms crossed or laying on the grass like damn bro wants to be cool so bad (not as cool as the frame of rei kon absolutely BALLING)

Said max is my favorite and talked about kai the entire time LOL no but he’s my fav i love that guy EXCEPT. the fact that. He likes mayonnaise… idgaf if its ur style mayonnaise is disgusting im disappointed in you max…..

I also like Yuriy who also seems to be a fan favorite from what ive seen which i expected but i like him in a way like, hes so funny to me. Bro walkin around with bug antannae and the worst posture youve ever seen. Why is he built like that. Fucking thing. Also big fan of the weird ass sht he does in g revulotion when doing special moves hes got CLAWS hell yeah. No bcs no one elses looks like dat when they do it⬇️ as a certified creature fan i can proudly confirm this, indeed, is one of the creature moments of all time.

I dont know peoples opinions of daichi but he seems like the type of character ppl might hate for being annoying but i like him bcs he reminds me of me and my brother when we were little (im the younger sibling) bcs every interaction between takao and daichi reminded me of us LMFAO 10/10 sibling dynamic (better than takaos actual brotha😬)

This is literally the sweetest compliment oh my gods... im genuinely so flattered that you've been marathon reading my stuff!!! its always such a pleasant shock to hear that people enjoy it, but liking it enough to binge read a bunch of my other works?? i am on the floor this is literally so nice

I wanna preface this by saying none of my dsmp works are abandoned!!! I almost never fully abandon fics-- i think the only one that i've ever chosen to abandon was my voltron fic, and that was for specific fandom experience reasons. Right now, all of my dsmp fics are just kinda on hold until i can get the motivation up to eventually finish them, but i know exactly where i want to go with each one.

So with that being said, you will be delighted to know that when the night cries is actually fully finished. The fic is written, i have all five chapters done. The only thing holding me back iiiiiis... the fact that the unpublished chapters are only rough draft. I freely admit i am very insecure about my rough draft writing, especially compared to what i post on ao3. It's been an incredibly huge leap for me to even post my rough draft work on here with minimal edits-- i havent gotten near to the point yet where i feel confident posting them to ao3, which is kind of a shame considering a heart choked full with wanting, my first ever work for dsmp, is a 14k wip that has never seen the light of day 😭😭😭😭

My final drafting process is intensive. I've made a few posts about this before, but i rewrite my rough drafts entirely from the ground up, using a very strict personal style guide i've developed over the years, and while it produces quality i can be proud of, it does,,, take a while 😅😅😅 a really long while. This is why the 7k scarian fic i finished months ago hasnt been posted yet lmao

So!! Rest assured i am actually picking at wtnc chapter 3 here and there!!! It's completed, i just need to rewrite it, but unfortunately my wilbur chapters are always my goddamn problem children when it comes to editing 😭😭 akdneks sorry this got so lengthy anon, but i really wanted to reassure you that wtnc isn't abandoned. Literally just for you im gonna go poke at it rn and see if i can get any more progress done, because gods know i want it published just as much as the people waiting for updates presumably do❤️❤️❤️

wow hi sorry im still not done complaining. i think my main issue with the films in conparision to the show and why the show is better is that like hannibal. hannibal felt like it had nothing to do with the core aspects of hannibals character. you could replace him w any other guy and it would just be some thriller/action film n honestly i wouldnt have bothered watching it. i checked it out bc i thought hannibal film!! this is so gonna be utilizing the unique aspects of hannibals world view and relationships that make his character appeal to me. and it kind of didnt. if that makes sense idk. as for clarice i love her but what the fuck did they have her doing in this movie.. what was going on really. i just couldnt take it seriously and it was boring!! idk if i have a problem but i struggled to find this film interesting

the hannibal movie was so god awful to me and made. so so much worse by watching the show first for sure😭 but i cant evem fathom having liked it even without the context of what beauty awaited me with the show.

literally what is even happening first of all.. give me a summary of the plot. you have two minutes and you cant google it. secondly why is he the rudest fucking person on earth. is his whole thing not "eat the rude"??????? thirdly thomas harrisons extreme sexism and homophobia is so fucking damaging to both hannibal and clarice and any prospect if a relationship they could ever have lol ! insinuating that he holds this love for her, that he ""changes"" for her at the end of the movie by choosing to mutilate himself instead of her. i mean it doesnt hold a candle to the show but also like. girl.. be so serious

also idk if u have read the book but part of the reason that that was such a horribke unsatisfying ending was because the book ending is super different and so entirely sexist and disgusting that the writers that wrote clarice and her character relationships as they did refused to write it .......

the red dragon movie i think had a lot of potential and i could have liked it if the acting wasnt genuinely fucking awful. like are you not grown ass movie star adults why does this suck. sorry (i am not sorry at all)

and FINALLY i have not seen hannibal rising yet because ive heard it was long and tedious and similar to what youve said😭 but i do really enjoy the book so far. im not sure how different they are and how much of the tediousness is just weird translation from book to movie vs entire rewrite but i havent found it unbearably tropish at this point and id say im at least a third of the way through
