merry christmas from all of us here in liyue harbour! and happy birthday as well! i hope you are enjoying yourself? and that you are spending all your time doing the things you enjoy and love? i miss you terribly. i wish i could be there to spend your special day with you, but duty never stops. and even then…everything seems so dull without you. going about my day—talking with the merchants, filing papers, investing reports of suspicious occurrences—feels so strange without hearing your lovely voice.

i am truly sorry we are not able to spend this day together but my free time now is precious little. i would have given up my duties if i was able to but lady ningguang has been very stressed lately and i am doing my best to take off some of her workload. she gives you her best wishes, as does lady keqing. until we meet again, i will dream of holding you in my arms once again. i wish you were here…
