Heya, wanted to make a submission for a possible future Train of the Day.

The GMD GF6C electric locomotives built for B.C. Rail's Tumbler Ridge subdivision

C-C wheel arrangement, each unit generating roughly 6,000 horsepower from a 50kv overhead line. Seven built between 1983 and 1984, of which one survives.

After departing the Quintette mine several minutes ago, BC Rail GF6Cs No. 6004, 6002, 6003 and 6005 are taking a westbound coal train to an interchange where CN diesel power will take over for the remainder of the run to Prince Rupert where a ship will transport the coal to Japan.

Models and Route by: ATSF854, Jointed Rail, RRmods and Download Station.
