The Simala Shrine (Miracle Beyond)

The Simala Shrine or the Simala Cathedral was a 14th Feet of Width. Located at Brgy. Lindogon, Municipality of Sibonga in the province of Cebu. It was founded in 1998 by the Marian Monks of Eucharistic Adoration. Then with the collaboration of Our Lady of Lindogon by the miraculous Vigin Mary. It took 27 Years to be finally completed and open to the public. It gained a recognition for it’s excellence in faith and religion, yet controversial for media and the people because of some accounts of the Patron of Virign Mary crying and in the rare cases, she shred blood. It gained popularity among foreign tourists because of the Castle-Like Infrastructure that are unique for a religious building to have. The significance to the faith of millions and millions of devotees have brought a countless stories of hope, surrendering your problems, faith, and miracle. It is estimated that more than 2 Million tourists gathered every year according the statistics.

When I remember that I waked up early in the morning, get my things packed up, and ready to go. 6 AM is the time that we departed in our town. We arrived at San Carlos City at 10 AM, 4 hours of continuous traveling. Then fast forward, my family and I arrived at my dad’s town at 5 PM, more than 11 Hours of travelling. Then the next day we planned to tour around the Simala Church. We immediately agreed to it with my cousins. On Wednesday, we packed ourselves and we departed from my grandpa’s house. It’s 10 AM when we arrived at Simala Shrine at the day was so hot. The Shrine at the time was enormously big and the air flow was cold enough to handle. It was so beautiful like you’re in another country by touring every side by it. When we finally entered, we are commanded to take off our shoes or slippers and only socks are allowed in it. The first hallway was full of documents proving of the miracles brought by Virgin Mary, even trophies that I saw from GMA Kapuso Foundation, as a proof of being a beneficiary. The experience was similar of visiting the Jerusalem or the Vatican, then we saw the monk’s prayer room and when you kneel down, and a monks will grab your hand, letting you express your problems, then the catholic church for devoted catholic. A prayer room, In the other side was a hall full of candles being lit and people are wishing for their personal intentions. When you go out, there’s a two way steps, a four sided towers that connects the whole infrastructure. If you’re not familiar with the place, there’s a high chance that you might get lost or being left unsupervised by a trusted adult. When I finally goes outside the Shrine was a full of small stores and eatery selling souvenirs, local foods and delicious drinks with a lot of tourists came from different parts of the world. And I brought one for myself. It has a road full of vehicles departing and arriving at the gate. It has some minor traffic yet it could be managed. Yet after hours and touring around with the food trip, we finally departed from that place and arrived at my grandpa’s house. It was exhausting yet we enjoyed for the rare experience and opportunity.

It was the most unforgettable experience I did during my 7 Day vacation with my family. After that we happily took the remaining days with our relatives because on we were heading back to our town to for my mom to do her work too as a teacher. I know that I was quick but it was full of memories we built together with my relatives especially my cousins that have a special place to my heart. To my grandpa who sadly passed away in 2020, I hope we can meet again in heaven soon. I know we have a bonding so short but it was full of life. What is this au, you may ask:

Encantale is a crossover of one of the popular fantasy Television series in GMA, Encantadia (which is already over) and of course, Undertale. Despite it’s Encantadia, it does not follow it’s overall plot/story.

Instead of Monster live underground and Humans live on the Surface, Monster and Humans live in separated worlds. Only few humans knew the existence of the Monsters, either met one or saw one. The rest of the humans thinks they’re just make belief, stories from ‘mad’ people. 

The enchanted world of monsters were created by the gods/godesses who had left the place where they have originated from and created their own world. The are, however, were jealous of the supreme god and were outcasted by said god.

This AU, along side Undernights and UnReborntale, are work in progress. The reason for this incompletion is due to school and personal life.
