TF Earthspark Megatron x Reader

• Back against the wall, his head falls forward as he fights recharge just to keep an eye on the small form curled up on the air mattress beside him. Occasionally reaching out to ghost his servos over you, not touching but flirting with it. Knows you’re safe here and that nothing would happen to you if he did rest. But he just can’t make himself relax enough, because he keeps thinking about how you look to him. Throughout the afternoon and into the night, you’d kept turning to find him even as you spoke with the Terrans or Bumblebee. Like you needed to reassure yourself that he hadn’t left you. That he’s still there.

• And he’s not sure what to make of it. His followers had looked to him for direction, but never like this. Like he’s needed, like you’re lost without him. Even before the Decepticon ranks began to splinter, they had needed him as a catalyst, a figurehead. Nothing more. Not like you do. Servos making another slow pass over you, he freezes when you roll and the back of your hand slides against him. Curling tighter into a ball with a little sound, that’s almost pain. A nightmare? Those he understands, and he frowns as you kick out a leg nearly kicking your blankets off. Struggling in the grip of whatever’s got its claws in you. Remembering the battle? Guilt makes him reach for you as you lash out with a little hand.

• The nightmare and reality blend together in a confusing blur as servos wrap around you and lift you. And you struggle against that grip, Megatron had saved you, but in your nightmares, those servos grip you too tightly, breaking you as those red optics glow with cold, indifferent fire. “Breathe, little one.” That deep voice. Part of the dream or reality? Waking up with a bone deep shudder, you’re aware that he’s holding you cradled against him. That he’s stroking along your spine with a servo and staring down at you in worry when you look up. “You’re alright.”

• Lying in his palm, you stare up at him. Your heart beating so fast against his servos as he carefully reaches to nudge your hair from your face. Not that surprised when you press your face into the crook of his servos to hide your face from him. “I’m okay,” you mumble against him, but he doesn’t believe it. There’d been fear in your eyes when you’d woken, you must be having nightmares about the battle. Dreaming Starscream had you or that your car had been crushed? He doesn’t know, and isn’t sure how to do this. How to get you to open up, when he’s so used to bottling everything up himself, burying it deep. Letting his head fall back, his optics shutter. You need someone like Bumblebee, someone who knows how to help you. He knows it, but it doesn’t sit right with him when you’re his to tend to.

• Pressing yourself against his servos, you slowly relax as the nightmare fades. Because no matter what he did in the past, these hands are so gentle with you. He worries over you, like now as his servos stroke over you. Trying to soothe you even if he’s not sure how, gentle touches that make it easier to breathe. The fear washing out of you until you can turn your head and peek up at him again. His expression uncertain as he watches you. “Thank you.”

Content: 16+, Terentulas and Reader have a sparkling. After meeting Nightshade and treating them like their own before the birth of their child. Tarantulas soon grows a connection with the small bot. And doesn’t make…the best choices.

TW/Tags: Tarantulas trying to be a good husband, mostly just fluff, omg baby spider, Dorothy is the GOAT, Mild argument, I think that’s all? Dorothy is def the sparkling god mother.

Note: The reader is pregnant but unlike a human women, the metal doesn’t move but it is dependent on the child’s size. If they are bog or get bigger it can cause outer dents from under the chest and a few appearing down just above the pelvis. The dents are fixable and doesn’t hurt the GN or femme bot too much.

You were Terentulas sparkmate. Before he would go on to create a device for hide and meeting Nightshade. He was once captured by ghost. Alongside his Conjunx…You.

You both were decepticons and while he was a spider. You were a bot like the others. Only being a few inches shorter then him. You were with sparkling. The dents on your stomach only showing bit by bit. Tarantulas wasn’t- the best sparkmate but he did care for your safety. One day something happened.

You and your Conjunx were able to get out and escape. Your cervo over your stomach as you all ran. Eventually Dorothy was able to get a gun pointed at you.

The guards there shooting at you both. Tarantulas taking in a few shots in order to protect you and the sparkling. He though of picking you up but that could hurt the sparkling givin you are to give birth any moment.

But when she saw the small dents on your stomach after you tripped. Tarantulas have his cervos up as Dorothy kept you both at gun point.

She seemed to struggle but then lowered her gun. Saying Go. Terentulas didn’t hesitate and helped you up. You both making it out. You rode on top if tarantulas as he transformed and walked into the forest before the others can reach you.

It’s been a few months after that happened now.

Tarantulas was able to find a good place to hide for the both of you. You’d stay inside watching your Conjunx work as he tried to find a way for you both to hide better. He has a family now to protect. One day though while he let his newest project get to work for a test drive.

He accidentally brings in a small bot. You were inside. Eating some energon Tarantulas was able to find earlier.

You’d then hear someone coming. But it wasn’t Tarantulas.

You’d hide behind some boxes as the small blue bot came and started looking at Tarantulas little machine in one of his webs. Only for Tarantulas to appear behind the small bot and attack.

Once he shows himself to the small bot. You’d continue to watch.

When he realized the small bot was just a protoform. He let the little one go. After the two introduce each other. As the two spoke over the machine.

Tarantulas slowly grew more comfortable with the small bot. Calling their self Nightshade. After the two spoke and they point out what Tarantulas was missing. Tarantulas then allows them to see you. Calling for you to step out.

You and Nightshade instantly connecting. You even letting them touch your stomach to feel your sparkling move a little against the metal.

They were so curious and excited.

After some time Tarantulas and Nightshade continue to work with each other as they go over the upgrades and so forth. Even Tarantulas teaching the young bot the meaning of transformation and having an alt mode.

You would watch as the two continue. Eating energon and just wait for your sparkling to finally decide to want to come out.

Even at times helping Nightshade learn about Cybertron by telling them stories while Tarantulas took his usual day nap. You growing close to Nightshade as well. Them even calling you mom#2 and Tarantulas Dad#2. You two didn’t know the meaning of the words until they explained.

That just brought the three of you closer.

After Nightshade left. Saying their good bye. Although Terentulas cant show much expression. But being his Conjunx. He knows something is up based on the feeling in your spark through your bond.

“They’ll be fine sweetspark. When they return it’ll be on their own time.”

You place your cervo on his chest.

He looked down at you then looked at your stomach. His cervo gently resting on the side of your waist as his digit (thumb) rubs at it as he feels his sparkling move a little by his touch.

“You’re right..Sweetspark..I just hope…” He doesn’t finish.

“….Lets go to sleep Tarantulas. You’re exhausted.” You’d then walk back inside as he stays there.

Unknown to you. His machine follows Nightshade in order to spy and see what’s going on. After he joined you. The two of you cuddling as you have your back against his frame. His cervo over your stomach as his arm under you both is used as a pillow. You were soon asleep. But he stayed awake. And slowly.

Leaving to go to Nightshades home to take their parents.

When you awaken you can hear Tarantulas pulling an old nighter. You’d then get up and walk up to him. Your cervo over your stomach as you got closer. “Tarantulas what are you-“

You’d then see the human Dorothy and a male human next to her. Stuck in a web on the wall.

“Y/N my love please return to our recharge spot. I am busy. I must protect Nightshade from these captors. I’ll fill you in later.”

”Tarantulas this is crazy. This women is the one who let us go why would she do this to Nightshade?” As you two argued Dorothy was able to cut herself free. When her and the other huma were free they try to escape.

But Terentulas was able to notice and as you spoke he picked up Dorothy and spoke. Tarantulas speaking and accusing the two.

”Tarantulas please. This is madness.” You tried to help. The male human looking at you with hopeful eyes.

That’s when Nightshade came in and Tarantulas actually got excited seeing Nightshade. The humans telling them to run. Soon after Tarantulas spoke. Saying he’ll erase their memories.

But nightshade wasn't having any of it. Soon saving their parents as you continue to try to calm Tarantulas down. But he was always so determined when his mind is up.

Later Nightshade would be able to scan their alt form and fights Tarantulas. The other family members have came and you stayed close to help protect the little bots. Only for them to do that for you seeing you are with sparkling.

Once Tarantulas realized his mistake he apologized to Nightshade and to their family.

He’d then walk up to you. Placing a cervo behind your helm as his other rests on your stomach. Apologizing for how he treated you. You forgave him of course. Knowing he learned his lesson.

But then helicopters appeared. Tarantulas realizes what he must do. Nightshade and Dorothy were first to speak. Saying they’ll take you home with them and hide you away so you don’t get captured with him. He thanks them and leaves letting the humans follow him away from you all.

You teared up a bit as your Conjunx had to leave. You’d then leave with the malto family. Hiding in their large hideout under the barn.

After a few days you soon feel a pain. Then some energon starting leaking out of you. Luckily Dorothy was with you and asked Nightshade and the kids to go look for your Conjunx. While they’re gone Dorothy and her husband try to help you.

Bee being out on a mission and the other Autobots not knowing you’re with them.

The kids were able to find Tarantulas who was hiding in a cave. He makes his way a bit faster than the small bots once they told him you were giving birth.

Once there he held your cervo.

The small bots staying out the whole time. After a hour…you and everyone in the hideout hear the crying of sparkling.

The sparkling was a girl. She looked so much like her sire. After coming out she grabbed onto Alex gently and held him close like as if he was a teddy bear.

Tarantulas then gently helped Alex from her gasp. Jim thank long Tarantulas as Dorothy helps comfort him. But Alex didn’t seem too frightened. I mean he did get hugged by a robot not to mention a baby.

Tarantulas then picking his sparkling up as you rested on the large berth made for you. Your Conjunx gently cradles the young sparkling and bring her close to you so that you may look at her. Tears soon forming in your optics as you look at her.

”She’s perfect…like you sweetspark.” Tarantulas spoke as you stare at the small sparkling. You take in her features. She looked just like Tarantulas. Her color scheme lighter like yours and have the same optic color as you on her optics visors.

Her little cervos and even spider legs reaching for you.

Dorothy would then let the Terrans in and the human kids. Them all coming to see the sparkling. Tarantulas sits on the floor next to the berth. Letting his sparkling sort of sit up on the floor as he held her.

The bots and humans walking up in front of her. She was a bit larger then the Terrans. Being triple the size of hashtag.

Your sparkling giggled as she looked at the bots. Making baby sounds as she coos and gently grabs at her sires digits and even her spider legs gently curving, gripping at his cervos.

”What’s her name?” The young female child human names Mo asked. You and Tarantulas then looked at Dorothy as she smiled.

”Well if Dorothy didn’t save us. We’d still be locked up. And she would’ve been taken away.. so in honor of our own hero..” The kids looked at Dorothy then back at you and Tarantulas.

”Her name..is Dorothy.” Tarantulas said as she giggled. A new member of the family now as you finally gave birth to you little one. You and Tarantulas are truly happy with the many around you..

Ugh!!!! It was so hard to focus when listening to Tarantulas voice in the series while making sure I write everything in the right order. This was so fun to write and my god I’m so proud with how this came out. I hope you all enjoyed this and as always a repost is appreciated. Firsts to Grow Up: Family, 16 - Race for Safety

Author's note:

Without any mention of the incident with Tarantulas, Twitch's behaviour in that episode feels out of place. Aside from that, we never saw Bee train the Terrans for the rest of part B, everyone is chill despite the fact that they almost become orphans, and most importantly, GHOST's reason for hunting down Bee is very loose a reason. Show writers' attempt to make them Cemetery Wind 2.0 does not work at all. And no, GHOST in this AU won't be like Cemetery Wind, but more as NEST 2.0.

One week after the incident with Tarantulas, Twitch grows frustrated that she and her Terran siblings hadn’t had combat training in a while. All they’ve done is education and Bumblebee keeps testing their top speeds with his.

Thrash tells Twitch to relax and have fun as he, Hashtag and Bee lined up at the starting line. Nightshade is in the air with a camera on the three while Jawbreaker manages the timer. The moment their teacher speeds off, Twitch attacks Thrash in hopes he would spar with her. He repels her attacks in surprise, yelling at her to stop. Twitch doesn’t listen then takes her energy blades out. Bumblebee intervenes in time before she could charge at her twin. The triplets freeze in shock as they feel fury boiling from Twitch that overwhelms Thrash’s fear in the link.

Twitch insists she’s spar training. Bumblebee tells her she’s assaulting because Thrash didn’t agree to fight her. He orders her to cool off in the bunker. Twitch storms off, muttering angrily, ticking Thrash off. He follows her to talk some sense into her. Hashtag and Nightshade follow suit, worried that their things might get damaged by Twitch. Jawbreaker wants to race with ‘Bee but the latter says it won’t be fair. In truth, JB doesn’t want to be near Twitch & Thrash when they quarrel. Bumblebee coaxes him when rain clouds form and the two collect the equipment and return to the barn together.

Once Jawbreaker enters the bunker, an alarm blares and a heavy reinforced door suddenly shuts behind him, leaving Bumblebee outside.

Nightshade cries out in celebration, “Eurika!”, and checks the security cameras.

Thrash asks when did the farm had cameras.

Hashtag and Nightshade reply together, “Last night.”

Schloder arrives at the farmhouse. Robby and Mo are at the living room doing homework while their parents are napping upstairs. A loud transformation noise catches the vice warden’s attention. He doesn’t wait for their parents as he heads towards the barn.

Bumblebee sees Schloder approaching through the cracks in the barn’s walls. He tries to open the bunker door, but it doesn’t budge, then he frantically climbs up to the hay shelf right before Schloder arrives at the open entrance. The wood creaks under Bee’s weight. Schloder is about to look up when Dorothy calls out his name, saying he’s intruding as she closes the barn door. Bee carefully climbs down and heads for the still shut bunker door.

“Kids, let me in! Now!” he whispers at the Cybertronian-sized doorbell urgently. The Terrans doesn’t hear him because the speaker on the other side hasn’t been installed yet.

Schloder apologises for intruding then informs the family about Bumblebee being on GHOST’s wanted list for running away during the events of the Autobot friendly fire. It was recently added after their agents found new evidence about Bumblebee’s status at racing tracks across the nation – confirming that he didn’t die in the war’s final battle. Schloder searches for Bee himself to hopefully converse with him because Warden Croft will throw Bee into a cell without a second thought. He thinks “Alex’s” sports car had been scanned by Bumblebee and intends to bring him to the office for questioning. To play along, Alex agrees to follow Schloder. After watching Alex leave with Schloder, Dorothy marches to the barn with the teenagers behind her.

“Bumblebee! We need to talk about your pastime activities. And why aren’t you in the bunker?”

“The door won’t open.”

Dot calls the bunker with its old connecting phone in the barn. Nightshade gleefully picks it up and boasts about the newly installed security systems he and Hashtag had installed by themselves. Dorothy asks if either of them had asked Wheeljack for guidance to which they didn’t. Nightshade confidently says the door will open in ten minutes only for Thrash to point out the timer actually reads ten hours.

Nightshade tries to unlock the door manually, but the codes are rejected. Hashtag mentions a second entryway they haven’t finish digging up yet, to which Dot tells her to stop digging because it would end up right under the house, scolding them both for not informing her or their father about the systems. The tall triplets look at each other sheepishly.

Dot tells Robby to use her old military laptop to decode the systems then tells Mo to contact Wheeljack while she presses Bee to explain himself.

Bumblebee is searching for a Decepticon friend after he was told by Arcee a few weeks back that the friend likely spends time racing at small racing tracks. Bee found him at the track GHOST is observing. Dot worries Bee might get caught or have to be nomadic again, leaving the Terrans’ without their mentor. Bee insists now that GHOST is tracking him, he has to, or else suspicion will fall to the Maltos – risking the Terrans’ existence being exposed. He apologizes to Dot for breaking his promise. Dot contemplates for a moment then gets an idea.

In the bunker, Twitch rambles angrily how her Terran siblings might be able to help Bumblebee if they hadn’t gotten stuck. Thrash finds her words unbelievable as Twitch have been rebelling their teacher ever since he scolded her for nearly shooting at a cow a few days back. Twitch rolls her eyes in response, stunning the triplets and further angers Thrash.

“You don’t care that you almost killed a cow or that you attacked me? What is with you today?!”

“Me? What’s wrong with you? – the four of you! Don’t you guys want to be stronger after what happened with Tarantulas? We could’ve saved Mom and Dad from him faster. I could’ve saved Mom and Dad faster! I’m the swiftest, I have weapons on me, but I still couldn’t stop him from almost taking Mom and Dad away! You guys have been playing and doing quizzes over and over as if Tarantulas never happened. I can’t even sleep it off! I can’t believe you guys are over it so quickly!!”

Feeling guilty and hurt, Nightshade feigns ignorance of Twitch’s outburst by pretending to be busy with decoding; Jawbreaker and Hashtag look down in shame. Thrash calmly tells Twitch that none of them are “over” the incident. They’re just distracting themselves from the uneasiness. Plus, Wheeljack and Bee were told by their parents to take things easy because they know the children are shaken up. He sits down beside Twitch, puts an arm around her shoulders. Her rigid body loosens a little at her twin’s touch, yet the anger lingers.

Autobot Buddy and Soundwave were Conjux Endura shortly before the war broke out, they never made the relationship public. There was too much at risk, especially when tensions on both sides heightened.

Tension between them both rose when discussing which side was better to side with.

“What will it be then? Its clear we both can’t agree on a side. What do we do?”--Soundwave

“… we join different sides.”--Buddy

“What?”--Soundwave

“We join different sides.”--Buddy

“Yes I heard that but—”--Soundwave

“We do that. We pick a side in the war. We stay alive for each other and when someone win, we vouch for the other to come join peacefully.”--Buddy

“…it sounds like a good plan…but what about Us, Buddy? I’m concern on what will happen to Us in this war.”--Soundwave

“Don’t worry. We will be fine, as long as we have the bond, as long as we have each other alive, we will be fine. Just take care of yourself and the mini’s, can you do that?”--Buddy

“I will and…I trust you Buddy… I love you so much, my Spark.”

“I love you too Soundwave… Now and beyond the Allspark.”—Buddy

Buddy went off and joined the Autobot’s and Soundwave and the minicon’s joined the Decepticon’s. Never once telling anyone of their relationship, they promised each the other their safety and they were going to keep it.

Soundwave had set up a private link between them to keep in contact.

“Hey…”--Buddy

“Hello…”--Soundwave

“How was work today? Are you feeling, okay?”--Buddy

“Work was… adequate… and yours?”--Soundwave

“Things are getting harder I’m not going to lie… I miss you…”--Buddy

“…I miss you too…”--Soundwave

“Tell Buddy I said hi!”--Frenzy

“Frenzy!”--Soundwave

“Tell them we all miss them!”--Lazerbeak

“Lazerbeak enough—”--Soundwave

“…”--Ravage

“…Frenzy, Lazerbeak and Ravage say hello…”--Soundwave

It got harder to keep contact as the war grew longer, especially when both factions came to Earth. Suddenly it was just radio silence from Soundwave. Buddy was upset and concern at the lack of radio response but there was nothing they could do now without drawing too much attention to the both.

“Hey Soundwave? Are you listening? Things have gotten out of control at HQ… its almost funny…”--Buddy

A few days later…

“Soundwave? Are you here? Listen can you give me some sort of sign that your okay? Are the mini’s okay? Please answer as soon as you can.”--Buddy

A few days later…

“Soundwave… please… any sound would do… please just let me know you’re okay… love you, now and beyond the Allspark…”--Buddy

Buddy meets the Terrans and Maltos and they are both delighted and horrified that there’s literal sparkling’s running around with other children in a sketchy base.

“Buddy these are the Maltos and the Terrans I was talking to you about.”--Optimus

“Hi!”--Terrans and Maltos

“…Prime, Megatron, Elita-One… Mind explaining to me why there are literal Sparklings running around!?--Buddy

“Well—”--Megatron

“You know what I don’t. C’mere kids let me introduce myself.”--Buddy

They don’t trust GHOST at all and refuse to wear a GHOST badge. Buddy wears their Autobot badge proudly. They agree with Megatron in advocating for better treatment of “prisoners”. It’s one of the few things they can agree on.

“This isn’t right. Even if they are Decepticon’s, they don’t deserve to be treated like this.”--Buddy

“I agree. Something needs to be done about this.”--Megatron

“…Can’t believe I just agreed with you on something.”—Buddy

Besides agreeing to protect Dot and her family at all costs. They try to visit the Terrans and Maltos as much as possible. It was such a regular occurrence that they got their own bunk in the Dugout.

“Kids? What’s all this?”--Buddy

“Surprise!”—Terrans and Maltos

“Woah! What’s is this?”--Buddy

“Well, you’ve been coming over so much and staying almost regularly now. We all decided to make you your own place here!”--Robie

Yeah, now you don’t have to go back to the base and we can have even more sleepovers!”--Mo

“…”—Buddy

“Do you not like it?”--Thrash

“…”--Buddy

“Maybe it’s the color?”—Nightshade

“…”--Buddy

“No can’t be that.”--Twitch

“Maybe it needs another pillow?”--Jawbreaker

“How about another family portrait?”--Hashtag

“THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE NICEST THINGS ANYONE HAS DONE IN A LONG TIME! I LOVE YOU ALL!!”—Buddy

Things were going great for Buddy. Enough to occupy their mind from the pain in their spark. One mission got them hurt really bad. They refused to go to GHOST for medical attention.

“I’d rather have Starscream scream in my audials for an hour than set a foot near GHOST.”

Now they were at the Dugout fighting to stay conscious. Due to the power of plot convenience, they need a jumpstart their spark, which would be possible if they weren’t bonded. Being bonded meant that the other that was bonded would have to jump them with a shock through their spark bond. Which would be great but Buddy won’t tell.

“Wheeljack what needs to happen? I feel like I’m dying here.”--Buddy

“Dying!?”—Mo/Robie

“Wrong choice of words. My bad kids.”--Buddy

“Well since you’re bonded, that means that your Sparkmate need make the jump with you. So now the only thing we need to know is the Sparkmate.”--Wheeljack

“…Yeah that’s not going to happen.”--Buddy

“What?”--Wheeljack

“Buddy, did you understand what Wheeljack said? You are going to die if your Sparkmate doesn’t come an do the jump. We don’t know who it is, you need to tell us!”--Dot

“…sorry Dot…but like I said, that’s not going to happen.”--Buddy

Buddy made a dumb promise but they are sure going to keep the last thing they had with Soundwave. Optimus, Bumblebee, Arcee, Grimlock, and Elita are trying to remember if Buddy had mentioned their Conjux before in their ranks.

“Lets see… Ironhide?”--Optimus

“Nope.”--Bumblebee

“… Cliffjumper?”—Elita-One

“No.”-- Bumblebee

“Maybe its Jazz.”--Grimlock

“No.”—Bumblebee

“Gears? Ratchet?”—Arcee

“No cant be either of them.”--Bumblebee

“Okay then what’s your idea then?”--Arcee

“…Prowl?”--Bumblebee

“NO!”—Optimus/Elita/Grimlock/Arcee

Wheeljack and Megatron are trying to look through the database of Teletran 1 for any alternative to the medical procedure.

Meanwhile the Terrans are trying to tend to every need Buddy has to the best of their ability.

Robbie and Mo are at both sides of Buddy’s head rubbing it softly as they wince from time to time from the pain.

“C’mon Buddy. Can’t you just tell us?”--Robie

“Please Buddy. Please?”--Mo

“Sorry—urgh—kiddos. No can do.”--Buddy

It’s Alex who brings up the possibility of Buddy’s Conjux not being an Autobot at all.

“I mean what if Buddy’s significant other isn’t an Autobot at all? What if they are human or a Decepticon? Relationship between factions have definitely happened before right?”--Alex

There’s silence and its being considered. Buddy groaning in pain breaks the silence. Megatron heavily considers it, suddenly wondering how many of his own troops entered interfraction relationships.

“No, they—”--Megatron

Suddenly remembers Deadlock and how he would always single out Ratchet in many battles.

“…You know it might be possible…”--Megatron

Megatron asks Hashtag to send a specific message through a cryptic frequency and starts heading out of the Dugout. Dot, Optimus, and Bumblebee follow him, meanwhile the rest stayed to monitor and look for other cures just in case.

Megatron, Dot, Optimus, and Bumblebee reached a clearing a bit far from the house. Not a moment too soon, Soundwave came into view and transformed in front of them deploying Frenzy, Ravage and Lazerbeak standing their ground. The Autobots reach for their weapons, but Megatron tells them to lower them and takes a step forward towards Soundwave.

“Soundwave.”--Megatron

“Megatron. What is the meaning of this traitor?”--Soundwave

“We need your help.”--Megatron

“Give me one good reason to help you.”--Soundwave

“For old time sake, one favor.”--Megatron

“…What is it?”--Soundwave

“We need to know any Decepticon’s who have Conjux Endura’s—”--Megatron

“That is out of the question. You do not have the right to know about their affairs.”--Soundwave

“So, you do know?”—Megaton

“Of course, but I will not tell you.”--Soundwave

“Soundwave—”--Optimus

“Save it Prime!”--Frenzy

Soundwave turns to leave with his minicons, which is when Dot snaps. She wasn’t about to lose a dear friend like this, no not like this.

“Buddy’s dying!”—Dot

This statement stops the Decepticon’s right in their tracks.

“Listen, they don’t have much time. They got hurt real bad last mission. They need their Conjux to help them with the medical procedure.”--Dot

“We don’t know who they are Soundwave. Buddy will not tell us who they are. I will not lose anymore bots when we have a fighting chance. Right now, you are our only way of finding them. Without your help they are going to die.”— Optimus

“Soundwave we wouldn’t be asking you for anything if it weren’t dire. We don’t have the luxury of time because that is something Buddy doesn’t have right now! So, are you going to help or not?”—Bumblebee

The mini’s are looking at their boss in some sort of desperation before Soundwave transforms and agrees to help.

Everyone was ready to move to another location but were surprised when Soundwave asked where Buddy was. That’s when the other realized the shocking truth. Soundwave was Buddy’s Conjux.

They arrive at the Dugout and enter its doors. The Terrans are immediately on guard seeing Soundwave, especially when Buddy yelps in pain squeezing their optics close not knowing who was in the room.

“Freeze!”--Twitch

“Calm down he is here to help Buddy.”--Megatron

“What so is he—”-- Thrash

“Yes.”—Megatron

Soundwave had never felt so much regret of not contacting his Conjux for so long than that moment. He calls to them, this causes Buddy’s optics to snap open in disbelief.

“Buddy…”--Soundwave

“—urgh—Soundwave?”—Buddy

The mini’s came out and started shooing everyone out of the room. Wheeljack gives Soundwave quick instructions on how to do the jump starting before also exiting the room.

Now it’s just Buddy and Soundwave

Soundwave is getting the equipment ready when Buddy calls him over and apologizes for bringing him here where he and the mini’s could get captured. Soundwave finishes setting up the equipment and grabs Buddy’s servo as the process began.

“I’m sorry—”--Buddy

“I apologize—”--Soundwave

“You can go first.”--Soundwave

“I’m sorry for getting you into this mess, you and the mini’s.”--Buddy

“Apology not needed. I should be the one apologizing. If I’d had known… If I had kept in contact…”--Soundwave

“…Can we just forgive each other? I don’t want my last moments here to be just pointless apologizes on childish things we both did.”--Buddy

“You’re not going to die. Not when I have a say in it, my spark. I… I missed you, my spark.”--Soundwave

“I love you too, now and beyond the Allspark.”—Buddy

They both begin talking and catching up on some things. Before they knew it, the procedure had finished, and Buddy was going to make a full recovery.

After the procedure was done, they both walked out servo in servo. The mini’s as it turned out had told the Team a bit about their relationship.

“Yeah, so one time Soundwave thought it was a good idea to fly with Buddy around sunset. But he didn’t know that—”--Lazerbeak

“Lazerbeak.”--Soundwave

“Soundwave! Buddy!”—Frenzy

Everyone there was shocked by the story, but they eventually got over the shock. The longest one to come out of the shock is Megatron. He feels guilty and so blind. How could he not have seen this coming, especially from Soundwave?

Soundwave lets Buddy have one more squeeze before getting the mini’s in his chest compartment. He turns to leave, but he stopped after hearing Dot’s voice.

“You can stay the night here? I think it would be good for Buddy if they knew you were here.”--Dot

“And if you are worried about GHOST, their radar doesn’t come by here. It’s perfectly safe.”—Megatron

He pauses for a minute. Looks back at Buddy and then the setting sun. one night wouldn’t hurt, right? He turns to Megatron stating that if this was a trap, that there would not be a planet he could go to hide from him. With that he swooped in and carried Buddy bridal style and marches into the Dugout as he deployed his mini cons to have fun on the farm.

Meanwhile Soundwave and Buddy cuddled on one of the medical slabs all night long.
