Dr. Odette Melusine is the current headmaster of Wolfsbane Academy. She is an alumnus of the Academy and the daughter to the previous headmaster. In her formative years, she already knew her goal would be to take over the school and become one to form young minds into fountains of knowledge and proper etiquette. She seems to have a severe and strict demeanor, but only has the best of intentions for her students.

Meet Yesenia “Yessy” Castillo

Yesenia was born into the infamous Serrano coven, a spellcaster family whom earned their reputation with their less than stellar practices, particularly in the usage of Untamed Magic. Her mother, disagreeing with their customs, ran off with Yessy when both of them were still rather young. Yesenia grew up, fleeing from place to place as they try to outrun their family's constant pursuits. By the time she came into her teens, the family seemed to have forfeited their search, as Yesenia had not manifested any powers by then. Not to say that she was ignorant of magic, for her mother was an avid alchemist, making potions and giving them to those who were in need. She even learned how to make homeopathic remedies from helping her in her lab.

Influenced by her mother’s nurturing nature and will to help others, Yesenia applied for Foxbury Institute so she could become a pharmacist. The university's environment was extremely different from what she was accustomed to. So many overwhelming stacks of unending work and countless loud, crowded places. Much different than the tiny motel rooms and apartments she shared her with only her mother and the occasional visiting client. During the end of her second semester, Yesenia’s morale was at an all time low and her stress, an all time high. What helped even less. was the constant ringing in her ears... as if hearing chimes. She ended up breaking down in the middle of the courtyard, resulted in the manifestation her powers. The Serrano coven caught wind of this incident and helped to ‘smooth over’ the incident. Much to her chagrin, Yesenia accepted help from the family so she could manage to graduate without issue.

Post-graduation, Yesenia moved to Forgotten Hollow for distance and the quiet. There she established an apothecary that she now runs from her basement. She touts her medicine as "old school remedies with new school practices” when in actuality, its magical properties are the key to their efficacy. However, needing to 'repay' her family for their 'help', Yesenia also tends to spellcasters they recommend to her, who were involved in ‘dueling accidents’; even if their injuries seem more physical than magical at times.

 Always having been a nervous sort in her developing years, constantly in hiding and on the run, has made her adverse to crowds, but after the incident, she has avoided public areas overall. Now, she  remains in the safety of the basement,  most of the time. Albeit sometimes disrupted by soft chimes that follow her around at random times. Despite her desire to be away from the constant uncertainties of people and events around her, it doesn’t make her any less lonely. When she saw Stasi’s video, she felt she can relate with some of things she said. Yesenia is applying, hoping they can connect with one another, even if it just as friends but ever hoping it can become something more.

Interesting fact: 

- The Serrano coven were rumored to have gotten their power from dark fae, so thus gaining odd features due to this pact. It’s why Yessy has her bright pink eyes and pointed ears.

- Constantly leaving the radio on in the background since it helps soothe her. Also helpful to drown out the occasional chiming. 

- Can play the violin and guitar 

- Always carried around good luck charms on her person. Especially anything with an eye design to keep her safe.

- Has only gone on a few casual dates but never seriously dated someone before. 

- Her spellcaster rank would be Adept
