also i finally got around to doodling some of our ttte ocs :0 

this is mara! her engine counterpart is based off of GCRY No. 4960 

shes not always on sodor--because her job is to transport people between hospitals across europe, shes found in a multitude of locations. she was incredibly busy during the world wars, responsible for bringing injured soldiers to safety. 

she also occasionally works as a funeral train, escorting cars that contain the dead. though very rare nowadays, its quite easy to tell if she’s pulling someones remains; she wont whistle to others. 

shes recently been going between sodor and england, and she spends her nights in sudrian sheds. 

shes a very soft-spoken and quiet engine, as with overly cautious and careful. though capable of high speeds, she refuses to try and compete with the speeds of the trains that pull the express. freight cars frighten her as well. though that causes some of the other engines to tease her, shes proud to have not crashed in her lifetime.

I think I finally designed GCRY 4960's face too. He's our 99 year old 2-8-2 Mikado built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1923.

I picture 4960 being the 'Gordon' to 29's 'Edward' vibes
