Before I didn't talk about F1 here, but now I'm going to start talking, because I saw a lot of people who do and I'm going to speak in English in some blogs even though i'm Brazilian because that way they'll answer me/like my blog more 💋💋

I think that Paul is pretty ready for a seat in F1 and would be an amazing addition, but I see what you mean

I agree that him not having any DNFs so far is slightly luck, but I think saying it’s ALLLL luck is a bit of a push. Because not DNFing requires a lot of skills to react and time his driving. It is really lucky that no one has crashed into him until recently, but I also think that’s because he’s aware of his surroundings, has fast react times, and is able to drive his car in a way that allows him to stay in

Besides, for a ROOKIE?!?! My man is crazy esp when you compare it t other rookies on the grid (who have an academy, lots of funding, etc)

Not only that, when you look at Paul’s overall situation right now: you realize how strong he really is mentally and physically

He doesn’t have any academy backing him up since Mercedes left him. He even opened up about not having enough funds to be able to do F2 again next year.

In multiple interviews he talks about how he’s in charge of a lot of his training, flights, bookings and more. Which is crazy, because that means he’s been paying for most of his expenses and been managing it all SUPER WELL

I think when you look at the overall picture, and you see that he’s THIRD during his rookie season, has made little to no mistakes, is managing all of his flights, bookings, and most of his training: it makes you wonder how AMAZING he could be with an academy backing him up to help ease his loads

Personally, I would put Paul in F2 for one more year. But sadly he doesn’t have the funds for that :( So, I’m really praying and hoping he gets into Alpine in F1 so he can prove his worth, get some sponsors, and fulfill his dream

I'm sorry if it sounded like I said all of his accomplishments were pure luck, this was not my intention but probably worded badly. In my opinion, he's currently easily in the top five best F2 drivers but that does not translate directly into F1. He's good, but if he entered F1 it would be, as you said, probably in a mid field team like Alpine.

I also agree that he has shown incredible mental strength and maturity with how he's handling his situation, but that's nothing F1 teams really look out for. It would have been great if he still had Mercedes backing him, but I think even if he did, he still would only end up in a midfield team because Mercedes is focused on Kimi.

For F2 rookies I have a good example that made me write the post originally; Gabriel Bortoleto. He's also F2 rookie, luckier than Paul because he is backed by McLaren but I think it's super interesting how a lot of people talk about Paul being a great rookie and deserving an F1 seat but i see no one talking about Gabriel?

I don't want to put Paul down but do the opposite; I think people should focus on all the talented, young drivers, because I do fear that there is a certain level of pretty privilege drivers like Paul get that others do not, which is sad, because I want to see good driving

head full of that one fanfic (santa salvacion) that i wrote and suddenly being emotionally distraught over it (who the fuck wrote this I'm going to scream at them) (<- wrote it)

obviously my way to cope is turning it into a joke so i poorly doodled them a little. they're under the cut b/c spoilers for clone designs (but tbh if you read up to chapter 4 at minimum, you'd already know what each clone was originally named IIRC.............)

this was all started in due part to wanting to "separate" the different clones and do a little silly character designing because WOOF, i love to design silly little guys. I just really like the idea that pre-host injection, they did some stuff that connects to their individualities despite inheriting a lot from golf ball (original).

again, these are messy and are in the brainstorming/throw shit at the wall and see what sticks for me. some clones were easier than others but ough.

(also on ao3) both are mature, depressing-toned works with medical inaccuracies and medical gore so reader beware. and if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna keep drawing these silly little guys in silly situations and ignore the majorly depressing AU setting they stem from for as long as i can.

Caserta: ritrova la chitarra rubata dopo 11 anni, denunciato l'inserzionista che l'aveva messa in vendita online.  Un 63enne dirigente d'azienda di Santa Maria a Vico, appassionato di musica, lo scorso 24 marzo, mentre guardava gli annunci sul portale “subito.it” si è accorto che era stata posta in vendita, al prezzo di 2.200 euro, una chitarra marca IBANEZ, modello GB10 N, identica a quella che gli era stata rubata, con altre 8 chitarre, nel lontano 2012 a seguito di furto in appartamento. Nell’osservare l’annuncio con maggiore attenzione si è accorto che la matricola impressa sulla paletta della chitarra era perfettamente corrispondente a quella rubatagli a seguito del citato furto in appartamento. La stessa inserzione l’aveva riscontrata anche su “mercatinomusicale.com”, altro portale di acquisti e vendite online. Si è quindi recato presso gli uffici della Stazione Carabinieri di Santa Maria a Vico raccontando quanto accaduto. Acquisita la denuncia i militari dell’Arma sono risaliti all’inserzionista, un 71enne di Rieti, anch’egli appassionato di musica, che, sentito dai carabinieri della Stazione di Rieti ha confermato di essere stato proprio lui a pubblicare l’inserzione per la vendita della chitarra. Will Audi sign Bortoleto?

With Audi taking over Sauber (I don't know the official team name either, so we’ll stay at Sauber), many positions will be exchanged. For most F1 fans the most important part; the drivers. There's many different strategies Audi could try, which I want to share and analyze and give my thoughts on who they’ll sign for the future.

A few months ago, it was revealed that current Haas driver Nico Hülkenberg will move to Sauber, starting the 2025 season with big expectations for their overtake from Audi. important to note is that Sauber will go from a customer team which currently uses the Ferrari engine but will become a constructors team with the Audi engine, but that will only happen in 2026 while the team stays as Sauber with Ferrari engine for the 2025 season. 

2025 is very interesting in that regard, because Sauber/Audi could use it in two ways;

First of all, they could sign a rookie. Binotto said they are interested in signing reigning F3 champion Bortoleto. Considering Saubers recent results, it's unlikely that they will show any results next season either, so signing a rookie and letting him get used to F1 cars without as much pressure could be a good idea. On the other hand, its Bortoletos first season in F2 and even though we’ve seen others successfully do the jump like Piastri, it would make sense for Sauber to not want to risk the expenses of probable crashes and instead choose another route; sign a midfield driver for money and as a seat filler. For this strategy, current drivers Zhou and Bottas could become interesting. They haven’t shown results, but I doubt anyone would be able to in the current Sauber car, but they have the advantage of money. Especially Zhou has many sponsors. They could sign him for the 2025 season in which, as stated before, nothing really happens and then sign Bortoleto or another promising rookie from 2026 on.

But why don’t they sign another good midfield driver like Ricciardo? They could sign Ricciardo as a seat filler, but I doubt he would do it. In the long run, and the actual point I want to make here, Audi wants to win championships. To win championships, you either need really good experienced drivers or rookies. Audi can't afford any winning drivers and even then, Audi will probably not be able to build a perfect car in their first season, so instead, their strategy will be to sign a rookie like Bortoleto that they can keep for many years, build the team around him and let the experienced driver Hülkenberg teach him, so as soon as Audi found their footing, he’ll be able to fight for championships.

I think they’ll sign Bortoleto, but i’m not sure they’ll do it for 2025 already, especially considering how tight money can be in the lower field teams, so i would like to hear what you predict will happen.
