V99

One of the most important events in fashion is taking place now and the year has just begun: Lady Gaga (the Golden Globe nominated actress) is now for the 99th issue of V the guest curator and editor, and as you could only expect from the wonder woman she is making 16 different covers under the tittle of Gaga’s Fashion Guard, until now we only know 3 of the 16 covers and -bookmark my word- is already iconic! she brought Hedi Slimane (the true heir of Yves Saint Laurent) and Karl Lagerfeld!

Both are 2 of the biggests legends in fashion as designers and photographers, and now these two long-time friends just had an exchange of respect taking the pic of the other for the covers. They have been the photographers for plenty of covers but now they are in the front and backed by the other.

The rest of the covers are still a mistery but I’m beting on Gaga bringing up her whole squad of artists and designers, the #GagasFashionGuard. And if I see Donatella, Daphne and Marina probably I will cry all night, I hope we get a sneak peak into the new and renovated haute couture atelier of Saint Laurent. Gaga said she wanted to have one story that the fashion world is gonna remember forever, I’m sure this will impact the whole world. Gaga is putting the art in the front again, she has always cared about the artists, she’s commited to it and this story I’m sure will tell you that. Thank you Gaga.
