G’enta has had serious romantic feelings for four people in her life: Haurchefant, Ysayle, Aymeric, and Estinien.
She is polyamorous! But gods she’s been hurt bad by fate.
Though. Black Cat…may be a new member of the polycule, if the raids continue the way it does.

Madame Tuues of the Seventh Dawn
Aka Aymeric finally got G’enta to sit still long enough for a painter to make a portrait.

Tuues: I was a fan of Nier Automata and shipped 2B and 9S. It’s not accurate. G’enta is her name now, its a lot more accurate. Falla: sounded nice Kore: another name for Persephone. Hagne is a potential surname for Persephone, if they were to have had one back then. Hagne is not accurate, as it means “chaste woman” and they are a very slutty non binary bunny. Akira: “bright hope” is the meaning, which is accurate for her as she’s the hope of her family to live on past the empire’s invasion of Doma. Malaguld is her last name as it is the tribe of the steppe she was born into, her family gaining asylum with as fleeing Doman Raen.
WoL QotD: What made you choose your WoL's name? Does it have any important meaning or did it just sound nice?
Follow up: Is it lore accurate? If it isn't, why not?

"You're safe here, I promise."
or
"Will you hold my hand?"
(Why not both?)
It was odd to see there be light in the otherwise still inn room, yet the full moon flooded between unnaturally parted curtains in spite of that fact. They waved to and fro lazily with the summer evening air, a tide of their own choosing. Someone was here.
Someone was here, surely, as the door opened and caused the windowsill to creak in surprise. For any other, it would be an empty room, someone who had forgotten to close the windows before leaving it vacant. But G’enta knew more, heard more….and would never leave such a thing unattended.
Her satchel was set with a silent ‘sniff.’ Green eyes glinted against the lunar lighting, staring at the window with alertness….then a tired concern.
“…Eteion, I know you’re there.” Concern turned to kindness, the cat stepped over to the window. The creaking resumed uncomfortably, curtains revealing the once invisible entelechy shaking at the edge. Striking blue eyes stared into the miqo’te’s as she trembled. It looked as if the little bird had been crying for quite some time. “…oh.”
“I’m…s-sorry..” Meteion gripped at the curtains with tiny hands. The fabric provided an effective-albeit scratchy- stim for the moment. “I…I didn’t….mean, to…s-scare…you…u…”
“You think you could scare me, huh?” Her signature smirk, reassuring to the last.
“…b-but you’re…s…scared. I’m…scared….too.” Her words brought G’enta to pause….and she understood. She WAS scared. Having witnessed what she had, the crimson moon of the 13th, the miserable fate of her friend’s sister, watching a loved one hurl themselves into the unknown and nearly perishing before their eyes AGAIN…not even knowing what would happen to them, should Zeromus emerge in the source?
G’enta hoisted herself up on the windowsill next to her, taking a moment to rearrange her tail so it sat comfortably. “…Yer right about that. We’re in another pile of shite reaching apocalyptic proportions. That’s enough to scare anyone….especially you.”
“I….I feel…them.” The bird looked down to her hands, held together, curtain between them. “Even those who don’t…feel Vrtra’s….unease. The dragons….they hurt. And the other….if we don’t…w-we can’t…” Her wings drooped, eyes moving about as if she was seeing something else, somewhere else. Of course, the dragons….her appointed star, ostrakon deal okto, the dragonstar. The thoughts were stopped abruptly, paused as a warm hand fell gently on her head.
“Eteion.” Soft words in a strong voice, soothing and settling. “You aren’t alone this time. And we aren’t about to let our star, our home get taken over by something like this. Before you came back I’m sure you saw it from Stinien and I…this is by far not the biggest threat we have handled. Not by a long shot.” The hand would move to pet her, adding to the grounding. “You’re safe here, I promise.”
“…” another tear fell down the girl’s cheek, but it was soon wiped away by the woman beside her. She leaned into her companion’s shoulder, weighing nothing against the denser aether. “I…want to believe…you…but….it’ll take…time…”
“That’s perfectly fine. We have all the time in the world.” G’enta hummed, glancing up at the moon’s reflection in the mirror of her room. “Fear takes us all…it’s a part of being alive. It’s what we do with it that makes the difference.”
“…will you…hold my hand?”
There was no audible response, just warm, clawed hands gently taking the entelechy’s. As she leaned into her shoulder, so did the other in kind, setting her head to rest against her feather’d friend. She knew of all people what it took to learn the hard way life after a sheltered upbringing…and she would take this entelechy under her wing until she had the courage to learn about the world herself…with her own courage.

Meet G’enta Tuues
Age: 24 Species: sun seeker miqo’te Pronouns: she/her Classes: DRK, RDM, DRG
Pre-ARR:
Tuues was born and raised in the black shroud, her parents having moved there to escape the Garlean invasion of Ala Mhigo. There she spent most of her days playing with the Sylphs, the Antelopes, and the Elementals—namely one, a wind elemental she dubbed “Windy”. Windy and she were inseparable until one fateful day when her playtime attracted a hungry Ziz. In an attempt to save their friend’s life, Windy sacrificed itself to Tuues, her body fusing with their Aether and effectively blinding and altering her permanently.
Her parents, stricken with worry, moved to Gridania so the Conjurer’s guild could watch her in her unstable state. There she was studied, kept safe, taught to see by aethersight….and sheltered to utter boredom. Her sheltered life would only stop shortly after the calamity, where her father left to fight, and never returned. Her mother chose to restrict her more heavily, and being 19 at the time, the young woman fled, setting off to Ul’Dah and taking up the blade.
A Realm Reborn:
Her time in Ul’Dah was short, but special. There she met a similar swordsman named Lavar, and the two hit it off immediately, like two peas in a pod. Her abilities to see and understand what others couldn’t attracted the attention of Thancred, who recruited her into the Scions shortly after. There she spent most of ARR, helping with odd jobs in the Waking Sands. She took a liking and a protective stance towards Alphinaud and Alisaie, adopting them both as her siblings, as they humored her stupid- albeit earnest demeanor.
On the siege of the Waking Sands, she fled with Alphinaud and Kore to Coerthas, where she met and aided Haurchefant in an attempt to bring the Ishgardians to trust the scions. This proved to backfire as she very quickly developed feelings for the elezen, growing into a loving, long distance relationship.
She returned with the Scions to aid in the final pushes to remove the Garlean forces from Eorzea, where they were triumphant. In the wake of their triumph, she was recruited as the left hand commander of the Crystal Braves, a close confidant of Alphiaud. She had no idea about the plans of the Bloody Banquet. The last thing she saw was greeting Lord Aymeric de Borel as he entered the venue, before the coup knocked her out and disposed of her. Heavensward:
Soon after fleeing to Ishgard with Alphinaud, she was separated from him and left wandering alone. Serendipitously, she met Lavar in The Forgotten Knight, who, similarly lost in a stupor from the Crystal Brave’s betrayal, introduced her to her later Free Company. She also abandoned the life of the Paladin, believing she disgraced herself by letting the coup occur without her knowledge. This gave way for her to discover the body of Fray, taking up the mantle of Dark Knight, and facing her own inner demons. After making up with Alphinaud, she journeyed with him, Kore, Ysayle, and Estinien to seek truth and justice in the Dragonsong war. Estinien was rather bigoted in her opinion, and she strongly disliked how much he fought with her company. She became rather fond of Ysayle, and hoped to introduce her to Haurchefant, who had entertained the idea of marrying her after this war had passed. Her love for the two burned brightly, and for once she felt her future was going to be happy. That is, until Haurchefant fell taking a blow to save Kore. She tried her best to jump in and save him, managing only to get clipped by the beam instead, rendering a large scar across her face. And the grief did not stop there, as soon after, Ysayle too passed. She was lost, and alone. And angry. Thordan’s death did not sate her anger. Nidhogg’s silence did not sate her anger. Nothing could bring them back to her, so she decided to blame anything or anyone she could. It brought her to blame Estinien, and brought her on the warpath. Stormblood:
Tuues did not follow Alphinaud and Alisaie to Doma. Rather, she abandoned them both, to follow Estinien in a hunt of blind rage. It was only until she was found by a hired helper of her Free Company that she realized just how in over her head she was- freezing and risking her life in Garlemald for a man who was not truly at fault, for a man who, in killing, would not bring her lovers back. At that encounter, she turned her attention and aid to the Ala Mhigan front. Her efforts of liberating Ala Mhigo were alongside Aymeric, the Scions, and Lavar, helping the lattermost free his father from Castrum Abania.
Speaking of fathers, shortly before the storming of Ala Mhigo, she reunited with her father, K’a Tia. He had had been spared in the Calamity by Louisoux’s sacrifice, only to behave like a dead man and use his second chance at life to fight for his homeland. It had not occurred to him, however, how heartless this action was to his wife and daughter. To this day, their relationship is strained. But because of him, she did take up the rapier to learn red magic. Her feelings for Aymeric began to soften and warm as she worked alongside him, and they shared a rather...special moment, on the eve of the Ala Mhigan’s victory. This victory was short lived for her, however, as soon after her comrades would begin to fall one by one into a deep, soulless slumber...leaving her, Krile and Tataru alone to wonder what was next.
Shadowbringers: T’uues spent most of Shadowbringers in Ishgard, living with her adopted Father, Edmondt Fortemps. He had taken her in, swearing to treat her like a daughter even if she never ended up marrying his son. There, she helped around the city, trying (and failing) to learn conjury for her Lavellieur siblings, and trying (and succeeding) to learn how to read with the help of aether ink. It was at that time that she began to court Aymeric officially, enjoying the slight semblance of peace she could glean from the absence of Kore and the others. She checked in regularly to make sure they were well taken care of, retelling her stories in case her sleeping friends could hear. This was all abruptly changed the morning she was yoinked into the First to fight the ascian Hades. Instead of allowing herself to return with the others summoned, she decided to stay and explore the world her family had spent so much of their time on, and ended up finding much more than she bargained for. Not long after her arrival, she met with her fragment of the first, a pixie who rejoined nigh instantly. And even more shortly after, her echo began to worsen. Visions and hallucinations ravaged her brain, having her wandering aimlessly through fact and fiction to search for truth, peace, anything. Elidibus’s call to Heroes had hit her, and she needed to know just who she was. She found herself, finally. In Akademia Anyder, and in Amaurot. A promising young woman, Pamphilos, researching and designing concepts to create elementals of wind. And she found the remains of said places, shades of comrades and companions dead and dying all around her, the city she had called home in ruins. But before her mind crushed under the weight of despair, a tiny hand grabbed at the hem of her boot. A tiny ancient, big enough to be a child’s toy, and perhaps designed to be so if it weren’t for it trembling and alone. She made the decision then to return home with them, her little “Ao”, and teach both them and herself that life goes on, even after everyone they love passes before them. Even if they are not strong enough to keep their loved ones safe. Endwalker: Her role had been reassigned, given a partner at this time. She traveled to Sharlayan with everyone else, and her new partner (much to her chagrin) Estinien. However, the ire she harbored for him had all but fizzled out, and she soon found he had changed as well--for the better. And their partnership proved to be useful, flourishing even. For the first time, she wasn’t afraid to let loose around him, knowing he could handle himself, that she did not constantly have to have her guard up for two people. Palaka’s stand nearly broke her, and very nearly turned her into a blasphemy. It was, you guessed it, Estinien, who talked her down from her panic attack. Once the dust settled, she confronted him, apologizing for her earlier behavior and pleading for forgiveness, for a new start. He understood her previous anger, and the two began to be closer friends. And finally, at Ultima Thule, she joined him in facing the dragon’s ghosts, proving to them all that there is more after a war, there is life after loss, and conflict can be solved. Amidst the Meteia, and alongside Estinien, she died. Their sacrifice provided the confluence of wind to push her comrades further. When she was yoinked from the aethereal flow, her time with Windy had brought them both to an agreement and a calm. Their merge was flesh with one another, and she emerged a whole being, restored in sight. And, oh gods, Estinien was hot. Post Endwalker: T’uues spends most of her time exploring, bounty hunting, and enjoying the new sights with Estinien. The two visited Aymeric in Ishgard, bringing the good news and beginning a relationship between three lovers. When she isn’t out fighting or exploring, she is in her Apartment, Company’s house, or Aymeric’s estate, painting the many landscapes she’s seen so that others may enjoy the sight she so happily welcomes.
