Said it when they dissolved Maxis and I'll say it again with Bioware. EA wanted them to fail. They constantly mettle in the production of their products then blames them if it doesnt work out. They are concerned only with 'number goes up' but only for themselves. This was a convenient excuse to fire many veterans so they could hoard more money. Their CEO earned nearly 30 million. You think they want their workers to have any of that? No. Fuck them.

We as a community need to come together and make our voices heard, the best way you can do that is depriving the scummy companies of what they really want. Money.

Please share this, you can share this elsewhere if you like (as long as you credit me of course). I love apex so much, but this has to be the first step taken to get it into a better state. If EA sees their shit monetization won’t work, it will force them to put more resources into improving the game. (Which is what they should have been doing in the first place)

With all respect, I am pointing fingers at EA. They have a wide network of creators and influencers who could have playtested this dumpsterfire of a re-release before daring to ask 30 dollars/euros for it.

They have a vast amount of simmers who'd loved the Sims 2 and created CC that fixed issues without the source code that they couldn't, creating endless amount of posts on known, existing bugs before. That's all they had to focus on. There is no reason to assume they couldn't playtest it unless they decided on the 30th to re-release without consideration. Amd even then, the blame is on them. Time to hold them accountable. I am done with excusing this.

If the bugs were not obvious, sure. But the game crashes almost immediately. Features that worked before as part of the game with no mods are broken. Basegame hoods are broken. Basegame hoods. Why is it on the player base to do their job for them?

Sure, report it. But do point the fingers. Hold them accountable for once.

EA confirms they know about the issues, and invite people to report them (details about the info that needs to be provided is in the post). They will be looking into them.

Please, if you have the LC, report the bugs! This could potentially resolve some major issues for good. Do not just point fingers at EA. Yes they are lazy, but they still have the source code, and we don't.

Dudes, I just read through the whole story outline for Alice : asylum and....we were fucking ROBBED. Like, I knew were already but after reading the story I am even more pissed. It is a genuinely beautiful exploration of trauma, grief and healing that stuck a genuine cord with me. I legit teared up multiple times. It handles so many therapy things amazingly and the ending for Alice is *chef's kiss*, perfect. I love it. Love how it's handled. I love the themes, the ideas of self acceptance, everything. It relates back to my own personal journey of growth and my therapist will be hearing about this potential game in the best possible way. Also fuck EA. You suck so much.

Quick Rant: Tech Issue

So today is the day! The Lovestruck is officially dropping and I hope you all have the time of your lives with this pack... But I have a major problem. Ever since the update, I have been unable to get in the game. Every time I click on the game, EA will close as if preparing to launch the game and pop right back up with the button still blue. I have done EVERYTHING!! From removing the mods folder to removing the entire sims 4 folder so it can generate a new one and still nothing. The pack drops in a few minutes and I literally cannot get in. And apparently I am not the only one having that problem. This is all so upsetting because I had the gameplay for lovestruck planned to the T and was ready to start getting into it but I can't... So I guess I'll have to sit back and wait until the emergency patch releases.

I don't know why this is happening. If anyone has a solution, please help a simmer out. In the meantime I'll be watching y'all's reviews and gameplay, and maybe polish the story I have, make a few poses for the story I wanted to play for y'all :(

I have many problems with DATV, but what I am happy about is that we got an ending. Maybe it's not the ending we all wanted or deserved, but we got one, and they are together, solas didn't die, lavellan didn't die, they are together and wherever they are, they are happy (gonna be reading fanfic about these 2 until I die).

P.S - I blame EA for all the issues, NOT bioware
