FrostCrush Chapter 6 is Live!!

Hello! Ch6 is finally here!! And this also is the final chapter of FrostCrush!!

Thank you for any and all support along the way. Happy to finally have completed my first big fic. I will definitely be writing and championing this ship for a while to come, but for now, enjoy all of FrostCrush <3

Name: Isaac |  Vision: Cryo | Weapon: Catalyst | Constellation: Beatus Vita

Normal Attack Talent: Adjuvant Of Crusted Frost

Normal Attack:

Send snowflakes towards opponents, dealing Cryo DMG and Slowing enemies hit. Slowed enemies have 50% decreased Movement SPD. Slowed lasts 5s when activated by Isaac. Slowed will not be refreshed when reapplied while active.

Charged attack:

Gathers hoaring frost infornt of Isaac, dealing Cryo DMG to enemies hit and applying Slowed to them.

Plunging Attack:

Plunge down to the ground, surrounded by ice, dealing DMG Cryo and Physical DMG to opponents hit.

Elemental Skill: Frostcrush

Conjure up ice and snow and crush it, dealing swift AoE Cryo DMG. Enemies hit by Frostcrush DMG gains the Crush mark for 5s.

CD: 6s

Elemental Burst: Compression Burst

Surround yourself in Compressing Frost, dealing continous Cryo DMG to all opponents in the field every 1.5s. Enemies marked by Crush will also have their ATK decreased by 18% and their DEF decreased by 25% for the duration of Compression Burst. Compressing Frost lasts 12s.

Energy Cost: 50 CD: 14s

First Passive Talent: Rushing Crash

Frostcrush gains one additional charge

Second Passive Talent: Decompression: Sturz

Opponents marked by Crush release Cryo when attacks hit them, dealing 66% AoE Cryo ATK DMG to themself and any surrounding opponent(s).

Third Passive Talent: Starburst Perfusion

When Isaac is off the field, the current character gains the Starfusion Shield, decreasing all Incoming DMG by 30% and increasing CRIT. Rate by 10%.

Constellation 1: A Guard's Favour

For 6s after an opponent is marked by Crush, their DEF is decreased by 5%.

Constellation 2: Tri-Factor

After releasing Compression Burst, Isaac will release 3 Homing Glaciers that deal 120% Cryo ATK DMG to opponents

Constellation 3: Press Of The Testament

Increase Compression Burst's Skill Lv. by 3. The highest obtainable skill level is now 15.

Constellation 4: Frostbite

When Normal Attacks hit opponents, they gain the Crush Mark. Can only appear every 15s.

Constellation 5: Verglas: Frostspirit

Increase Frostcrush's Skill Lv. by 3. The highest obtainable skill level is now 15.

Constellation 6: Corefrost Extinguished

In the following order, Frostcrush gains buffs:

• On activation, immediately gives Isaac 15% Cryo DMG Bonus • 2s after activation, all opponents marked by Crush will be Frozen. • After opponents marked by Crush are Frozen, they'll be Shattered. Shatter DMG in this form deals 250% of the DMG normal Shatter would do and does not gain the buffs from Elemental Mastery.

Isaac's Story

A young man, the Subordinate Leader for Knights Of Favonius' Recovery Company.

To be as young as he is, his work is extraordinary. When a field needs recovery, he's done on the spot.

Allthough he is super effective, he is very blant. In many interactions, his expression is blank and bored. This makes him seem very serious to many of the knights, but really he was just born vert unexpressive

He recieved his vision after accepting himself for who he is and accepted that his unexpressiveness is what makes him special, what makes him, himself.

I didn't want to post these at the same time, but I got way too excited after finishing chapter 4. Anyways, enjoy the labor of my obsession while I go pass out for a bit!

The first chapter of my RedLeaf project is finally uploaded!

Will be working on this as I find time, but hopefully you all will enjoy this journey along with me!

Summary: projekt Red and Frostleaf are two operators commonly known to be loners. After a small incident puts them in closer contact, the two find that each others company isn't all that bad. However, a life of fighting for survival hasn't prepared them to face some of life's more emotional challenges. Like a seemingly harmless crush.

Wow, I can't believe its already 5 chapters long. Time sure does fly when you're being self indulgent lol.

Think my new ADHD meds kicked in cuz I just couldn't stop typing. Anyway! Chapter 2 is here and chapter 3 probably isn't very far behind!

small note: I'm deciding to lean into my reading of Red as autistic. I do not speak for every autistic persons experience, only my own AuDHD perspective.

Decided to try a little experiment this morning while taking a break from FrostCrush.

Not Her Red

Head hurts. Granny is calling. Call is stronger than before. Louder.

Must ignore. Find Kal’tsit. She will help. Must move quickly.

“Red, what’s going on? Are you hurt?” 

That voice. Red knows that voice. Leaf. No, must get away from Leaf.

Granny keeps calling. Head hurts so much. Lights are too bright. Need to run. To hide.

“Red! Wait!”

Must get away. Now!

Red knows speed. Must Protect leaf. Find Kal’tsit.

So much pain. Can’t focus. Need to run.

Loosing strength. Granny is still calling. Can’t fight back. Must fight back.

Kal’tsit is close. Can smell her scent. Almost…

A blackness settles over Red’s mind. She is no longer Red. Just a puppet for granny and her games. She doesn’t know how long this time will be. She never knows.

Slowly, she can feel control slipping back. Slowly she can regain her senses. 

Her ears can hear, ragged breathes. Her bod can feel, muscles on fire. Her instincts sink into place, raging like live wire. Her claws can be felt, wet and sore. Her nose can smell… Blood…

Quickly, she fights to see. Granny lets her, an echo still in her mind. Red can see now. What she had done. She is covered in red. Someone else’s red.

Her muscles pain tells her a story. A story of rage and of violence. She can feel the echo of how they moved from the pain. She had lashed out. Hunted without purpose. Granny had hunted.

The echo fades back in, a reminder of her place. The adrenaline fading as fear seeps in. She’s trembling. Falling to the red wet ground, not her red. She tries to escape from this, but Granny won’t let her. Granny wants her to know this, to feel this. She hates it.

She’s weeping. Clinging to herself. Scared of herself.

She lies there, in someone else’s red.

12) How many WIPs do I currently have for next year? A big fat zero. I have some prompt ideas, and I wanna figure out something for Bloopy and Glau, but I've been out of inspiration juice and can't think of anything. Also still intimidated to write for some characters.

28) Favorite work from this year? Kind of the same as the one I'm most proud of, which would be FrostCrush. It's a sickly sweet little story where I got to make my girls be happy and gay. And that makes me happy and gay!

3) Work im most proud of? Definitely FrostCrush. Biggest thing I've written yet, and the one I think I've done the best on so far. Second place would be 'In The Woods'

19) A pairing I'd like to work on next year? Lately Bloopy and Glau have been stuck in my head but I can not find a story to tell with them. So they've been rattling around, waiting for me.

29) line or passage im most proud of? The last couple paragraphs of Frostcrush, cuz they still make me smile. Just thinking about Red and Leaf cuddling in bed, listening to music, and falling asleep together. That's the good shit.

Most of Chapter 5 is almost done. I think im beginning to see the end of the fic in chapter 6 as well.

Both excited and sad that I'm gonna be wrapping this story up seemingly very soon. It was nice to self indulge while it lasted tho!
