when will people realize that the "everything is canon" tweet from the sonic twitter was a joke. i constantly see people using that tweet to back up their arguments or just going "oh nooo the sonic twitter said that everything is canon'' no they didnt. they literally said that over some obviously not canon crossover art but everyone always crops that part out. everything is canon isnt real guys. sorry

#i mean i cant really blame people for not knowing the full context because again. everyone who reposts it always crops it out #or just reposts the cropped version without knowing #but if you go back and look at the original tweet. its so obvious it wasnt a serious confirmation of anything #its not even possible for every piece of sonic media to ever exist to be canon to eachother anyways #sonic boom archie sonic the sonic twitter takeoveres etc arent all suddenly canon to the games #just because of a random joke tweet from the sonic twitter. come on now #and i do think that all sonic media is canon to a certain extent but its not all canon to Each Other.#like sonic boom and archie sonic are equally canon #but theyre not canon to eachother or canon to the games (or main series of games in booms case)#theyre separate universes. do you get what im saying #and i dont think social media stuff is canon at all except for the more serious stuff like the sonic channel art and animated shorts #not trying to attack out call out any specific person btw #just thinking about how often i see people take that tweet seriously
