"Quise grabar un disco diferente a los anteriores. La idea era hacer un álbum sin invitados, ya que en los cuatro discos anteriores colaboraron distintos artistas y no quería volver a esa fórmula. La estructura del disco está planteada de una manera diferente a lo anterior."

El álbum fue grabado en estudios “Flamingo” y fue producido por Baltasar Comotto y Macabre (Catupecu Machu), las baterías fueron grabadas por Alan Fritzler y Juan Pablo Alfieri. El arte de tapa fue realizado por Theo Lafleur. La grabación comenzó en abril de 2023 y se finalizó este año. El material comenzó a gestarse en la casa de Baltasar, con maquetas que tenía grabadas anteriormente y que sirvieron como disparadores para desarrollar los 14 temas que forman parte del disco.

Tanto “Témpanos” como ”Espejos” son canciones que surgieron en el estudio sin tener ninguna idea previa, algo que nunca había sucedido en mis discos anteriores.

La Esfinge se presentó en el Teatro Vorterix

El Viernes 27 y Sábado 28 de Octubre se presentó La Esfinge, el proyecto rockero y metalero liderado por el cantante mexicano Cristian Castro.

El sábado nos hicimos presente en el Teatro Vorterix de Capital Federal. Antes que arranque el show principal sonó de invitados Hermanos de Sangre. Pocos minutos después de las 21hs, el telón se abrió para dar comienzo de La Esfinge que brindó un espectáculo de aproximadamente de dos horas.

Cristian Castro con gran experiencia en el escenario se mostró tranquilo y quieto mientras interpretaba sus canciones junto con su guitarra (que cambio en varias oportunidades). Se conoce hace tiempo el gusto por el metal y rock de Cristian, aunque algunos podrían causarle alguna sorpresa, La Esfinge se creó en el 2014 (aunque tuvo un impasse posterior) con un disco titulado “El Cantar de la Muerte”, producido por David Bottrill (Dream Theater, Rush, Tool, etc), y que cantó algunas canciones en la noche del sábado.

También interpretó temas de su reciente álbum “La Cruel Cantora”. La banda que lo acompañó estuvo integrada por Chowy Fernandez en guitarra, Ruido Barilari en bajo; Alan Fritzler en batería; Alejandro Graf en teclados y 3 coristas: Flor Alba y Julieta Cáceres (el tercero carezco del dato del nombre) todos le pusieron mucha onda al show, con un evento que estuvo acompañado de humo, luces y visuales. Mientras iba culminando la noche, Cristian tuvo el gesto de dedicar la presentación a Ricardo Iorio y lamentó su pérdida.
