In this one, both S/O’s struggle to find the right present for their respective Slasher’s (Maybe its Valentine’s Day, maybe it’s Christmas, maybe y’all are just preparing for their birthdays this year. Up to you)… so they swap duties!

Jason’s S/O finds something for Freddy and Freddy’s S/O finds something for Jason. Its called teamwork.

Part 1

The café you decided to meet at for the gift exchange, like its some underhanded FBI intel exchange instead of the innocent thing it is, is a café a few suburbs over from the house- so Jason doesn’t wander over and find you. The place is real cute, with red stripy sun umbrella’s for each of the tables out on the curb and matching table cloths on the inside, and little cupcakes on display decorated to look like they’re popcorn, and cups of coke, choc tops, etc. This is a common stop before going to the movies around here, which are across the street- hence the obvious cinema theme.

You and your friend are going to a movie after this as well, so it seemed fitting that this would be the first stop!  

“ … - Okay- so- what’d you find for Freddy?” Your friend pipes up after they both sit down, order drinks and talk about the movie you’re both excited to see for a few minutes. They best get to the presents soon, after all. Jason could come searching for you at any time, and no amount of distance will stop him. He’ll sniff you out anyway.

Immediately you make a face like you want to laugh, but just silently cover your mouth for a moment and… hold it in. Nu uh. Not yet please. “Um, no.” You shake your head, a secretive grin on your face as you turn your head from side to side; no. “You first, please.”

“… Oh boy.”

“Just go.”

“Okie- “Shaking off the immensely bad feeling they got from that reaction out of you, one you’re sure to have earned, they pick up a present bag off the ground and hand it over the table to you. “Here. So, I was thinking about things Jason likes, that you told me. Like wood carving, growing stuff, the outdoors- “

“Man stuff.” You pipe up, smirking in bemusement about it.

Giggling and nodding, they agree. “Yeah, man stuff. So at first I was thinking maybe carving tools? Or some seeds he won’t come by at Crystal Lake?... But then I had a much better idea.”

Here, you dig your hand into the bag and pull out what was inside the bag, suspense becoming too much for you. And it’s a teddy bear. “… hm.”

“Look back in the bag.”

“Alright, I’m looking back in the ba- Oh!” After digging into the bag again, around the tissue paper right at the bottom, you pick out a couple of scrapped pieces of clothing just the teddy bears size- they look like they came right out of Jason’s closet! Eyes lighting up at them grinning brightly, you set the bear in your lap and hold up the shirt and the pants in turn so you can see better. “Its Jason!! It’s a Jason bear- that’s so cute. I want one!”

Your friend grins back, excited that they picked well. “There’s also a cute-as little hockey mask in there, too. I’m so glad you like it!! I’ll totally get you one!”

“Ahh, its perfect! Thank you! He’s gonna love this!” For another moment you continue to marvel at the gift - the adorable cuddly teddy bear and the little torn-up outfit, - , even searching inside the bag to see the teddy-sized mask inside… before pausing. Remembering. “… Your turn now, huh?”

“Yeah... Oh, it’s okay if you couldn’t think of anything though! He’s so hard, I know- “It looks like their mind is already rushing, thinking up something that they could possibly get Freddy- when you quickly shake their head.

“No, no! I got it covered, but uh… I’m not sure if you’ll like it.”

“… me?” Their voice goes quiet, small, meek.

Part 2

Biting their bottom lip in nervousness, your friend gives a nod. “… Yeah.” Another short pause passes between you both, before they sigh and put Jason’s presents away in the bag again and reaches down to pick up a box- a red and green striped box, naturally. You give a smile at that, as you take it. “Go ahead, open it.”

“You’re making me really nervous right now… is it something dirty? Is it a toy? Maybe I should open it back home… “

You get waived off. “Nah, nah- you’re good to open it here. Go ahead!”

Well if you insist- “Okay, okay, opening!~ “ The lid comes off and they set it on the table before peering in. There’s some stripy red and green wool fabric folded at the bottom but on the top is a plain, black, mug. You raise a brow, picking it up by the handle. “… A mu- why are you smiling so big like that?” The look on their face is suspicious if you have ever seen it!!

Giggling at your reaction, they give a playful wink. “Just wait til you put hot water in it.”

“… “Realisation dawns. “AH- It’s one of those heat changing mugs, isn’t it? What is it?” After quickly digging into the bottom of the box, you find the receipt and assess it. What it says makes you want to simultaneously laugh, and hide- which is just perfect. “Oh god- Naked woman heat change mug.” They read. This is the tackiest, creepiest, Dad-est kind of thing ever- its is absolutely up Freddy's alley.

At this the person across the table bursts out laughing finally, pushing back a little on their chair. “Yeah!”

“Oh my go- He’s gonna get such a kick out of this. Thank you!”

“There’s a pen to match in there, too. Dunno what kinda documents he’s signing in the third dimension or wherever he is, but I couldn’t resist. That’s not all though! Check out the sweater.”

After setting the mug carefully in the middle of the table so it doesn’t get knocked off or anything, you take out the woollen sweater beneath. Its just the same as the one Freddy’s already got. “I’m sure he’ll like the change- “

“Nope- It is not for him.”

“… What.” What do they mean its not for him??

“Its for you! Trust me, a narcissist like that?? He’ll love it so much.” Another wink. “Enjoy.”

Giving back a bemused smile, you shake your head as you fold the sweater up again and put the mug back into the box; Placing the lid on top to finish. “… thank you.”

He loves basking in your warmth

He loves the affectionate sweet side to you, don't get him wrong

But knowing that you can do a complete 180 makes him feel like he's in his own beautiful type of dream

He feels more comfortable telling you his plans now and the types of ideas he has for killing future victims

And you just sit there all happily and nod along like he's telling you a bedtime story

It's cute but also so foreign to him

He has a hard time remembering that you can be just as deadly as him when you want to be

He honestly has no idea how to feel about this situation

It took him some time to get used to being with someone so cuddly and happy all the time

He wasn't much of a fan of it at first, but something inside him refused to let you go or kill you

But seeing you smile over his victims and even step in to prevent him from getting injured has him confused

He is more than capable of protecting himself

But at the same time, knowing he isn't the only one with this grotesque side makes him feel.... content, in a way

But if you save him from getting stabbed or set on fire

You two are practically different sides to the same coin

He comes off as deadly, incapable of emotions, and just an overall killing machine

But when he's with you, he's the sweetest and most kind man you have ever met

You're practically the opposite

You come off as an innocent, bubbly goody-two-shoes to most of the public

But when someone dares hurt Jason, a hidden poison emerges from within you

Jason never thought you were capable of picking up his notorious machete, nonetheless swinging it right through someone's skull

He just froze up in shock at this realization

He was drawn to how sweet you were to him, but knowing that you're capable of killing only makes him more happy

He was always worried that you would leave him after dealing with his darkness for too long

But knowing that you aren't all sunshine and rainbows has reassured him

Thomas Hewitt

Considering what his family eats every night for dinner, he would have hoped that you were capable of similar actions to him

Killing is just a way of life to him, so knowing that you can do the same is so normal

That isn't to say that he wasn't surprised the first time you stuck up for him

But if anything, that surprise was immediately followed by a sense of relief

If you can do that, then you can fit right in with the rest of his family!

They liked how affectionate and kind you were to Thomas, but they were always worried that you were going to be too soft for their way of life

Now he knows there's nothing to worry about

Well, maybe except for getting on your bad side

Charles Lee Ray/Chucky: He absolutely loves you being goth, I mean adores it. He loves your style and the way you dress, he just doesn’t fully admit it. He hints at it, but never fully says it. He loves how mysterious you are, but also how gentle you are. When you guys first started dating, he would stay at your apartment a lot to hide from the cops. When he saw your apartment for the first time, he was intrigued. You being goth resulted in more affection and persuasion. If you have piercings (especially on your face/lips) he loves to feel them when you two make out. If you have long nails, he loves when they claw into his skin.

Tiffany Valentine: Very similar to Chucky, she just admits that she likes you being goth. You two love to share clothes and she loves seeing you in her outfits. She loves when you wear chokers, especially ones with spikes. If you have an interest in dolls, she is attracted to you even more. She loves to put makeup on you, and she’s let you pierce her a couple times. When you two first started going on dates, instead of her picking you up, or the other way around, she’d love to prep you and do your hair. She shows her love to you through actions. She loves you so much I can’t even explain it.

Freddy Krueger: You were walking through the halls of the boiler room when you first met. He appeared behind you and took a liking to your appearance. He liked your messy hair in that ponytail, he liked your piercings, your smeared makeup you forgot to take off the night prior, he immediately found a liking to you. He couldn’t kill you. One of his knives played with the bottom hem of your crop top.(imagine you’re wearing a crop top with a skull on it, and skull pajama pants) When you two officially started dating, he would get you little things he know you liked. He would either put them in the room he made for the two of you, or let you take them to the real world.

Amanda Young: You might’ve fell first, but she fell 10x HARDER. She loves to make things for you, it’s her love language. She’s made traps named after you, she’s made gifts for you. When she first made the pig mask, she let you put makeup and piercings on it. Actually for the robe she used some of your old clothes and sewed them together to make the robe. She’s just so adorable. She loves feeling your piercings when you kiss/touch her. She’s just a little hopeless romantic.

It was just a nightmare (slashers x gn!reader)

Based on this request : “how the slashers would react to their s/o's having a nightmare? Like the reader is sad and kinda confused. If you fell comfortable, I would love to read your view of the situation. I was thinking about Thomas Hewitt, Michael Myers and Jason, but when I think about Freddy Krueger I want to laugh so bad”

Hope you’ll all enjoy it, it was fun and cute to write for <3 Warnings: angst/fluff, no proof reading, mentions of cannibalism, of violence, of death (other’s and reader’s), of blood, of revenge, one or two strong words, mentions of sexual favours with Freddy.

Thomas Hewitt

Tommy was your gentle giant who wanted to protect you more than anything and at all cost.

It meant you always slept cuddled up against him and his arms were securely wrapped around you. 

Even in the Texas heat, you both needed to feel each other to sleep.

But despite his presence, bad dreams sometimes woke you up. 

They were often linked to your new way of life; seeing people getting killed and eating them can be a little bit… traumatising, even if you loved your man with everything you had.

That night, you were dreaming of the man Hoyt killed in the afternoon, you saw him trying to get you and bring you to hell with him. 

He was crawling from a big hole full of fire and screams, grabbing your ankle. He was shouting at you that you would go to hell anyways, and that it would be better sooner rather than later.

You woke up, sweating and your heart beating so fast. You were a little bit disoriented at first, not too sure where you were and what just happened. 

You were scared too.

You felt Tommy’s body against yours and it allowed you to realise where you were. You tried to calm down as well and you snuggled a little more against Tommy who was stirring up.

The man had a very light sleep, mostly because it was allowing him to protect his family. In this case, it meant that at the instant he felt you moving, he woke up too.

He instinctively brought you closer to his chest and kissed the top of your head. 

He wasn’t too sure what happened, but he needed to reassure you before doing anything else.

You never told him about your nightmares, or at least what they were about, because you knew it would break his heart and he would feel very guilty to give you such a life. 

He listened to the noises in the house and looked around the room to make sure there was no danger close by, before his whole attention went back to you, as always.

“I’m sorry Tommy, it’s fine, it was just a nightmare. Go back to sleep, big boy” you whispered to him but he softly shook his head and started kissing every inch of your face to appease you.

He knew you weren’t going to tell him what happened in your bad dream, but he could still cuddle you to make you feel better. 

He hated when you were upset and he wanted to believe that cuddles were the cure to anything.

He would also refuse to go back to sleep until you would be able to rest again. 

And even once you would be sleeping, he would stay awake a little longer just to make sure that your mind was leaving you alone.

You stroked his strong arms and you had to admit you felt better with the idea of being in the presence of such a gentle giant.

“We’re all safe, right?” you softly asked and he instantly nodded.

Tommy gently hummed into your ear. He wished he could tell you with words how much he loved you, how he would never let anything bad happen to you, and how the safest place in the whole word, for you, was in his embrace. 

He really hoped that his touch was conveying all this, and he stroked your back until he felt you relaxing against him once again.

He didn’t sleep much the rest of the night, watching over you, like the overprotective giant he was to you.

Michael Myers

Michael was like a cat who liked his sleep. Which meant he really disliked it when someone would disturb it.

Including you.

You dreamt that he was killing you, he was stabbing you over and over again, and you were bathing in your own blood.

You woke up with a little strangle cry and you sat up, trying to catch your breath.

You were a little bit panicked and you needed some time to calm down. You took some deep breaths and closed your eyes. 

You could only hear the sounds of your heart pumping inside your ears.

After a little while, you felt a little more calm, but you weren’t sure you would be able to go back to sleep that easily. You were wide awake and feeling a little sick as well.

You looked back to see if Michael was still sleeping but he was staring at you without moving. 

He seemed a little bit pissed at you and you bit down on your lips.

“I’m sorry I woke you up” you whispered and he didn’t answer anything or move. “I’m gonna leave you alone, probably going to watch some TV before coming back to bed, okay?” you offered so he could rest. 

You really didn’t want to upset him… especially after the nightmare you just had about him killing you.

You were about to leave the bed, when he grabbed your wrist.

He was a lot stronger than you, so he had no difficulty bringing you back to bed.

You tried to move away when you landed on his chest, because he didn’t particularly like to cuddle when he was sleeping, but he actually didn’t let you go.

He wrapped an arm around you to keep you against him before forcing your head to rest on the crook of his neck. It was his silent way to tell you “Go back to sleep now”.

You were a little bit surprised by the gesture but you didn’t dare move.

He was so tense beneath you, waiting for your body to relax before doing the same. 

He wouldn't be able to sleep if you didn’t fall asleep first either. 

In reality, Michael didn’t like to go to bed without you by his side. He needed to know where you were and he needed for you to be well settled before he could do the same. 

How could he rest if he didn’t know you were safely by his side? Anything could happen to you when he wasn’t around… He knew that very well.

He wasn’t showing a lot of emotions, even less affection, but making sure you were sleeping by his side was one of his ways to show he was caring about you and being a little bit protective as well.

“Are we cuddling?” you asked with a little amused smile. 

It was rare Michael was openly acting that way with you but you didn’t mind the forced hug that much. It was actually quite warm and it did make you feel all safe.

He only groaned in response and you had to bite down your lips to not start laughing at the grumpy man you had. 

You were already feeling better.

“Hey, baby. Just one question and I promise I will go back to sleep” you whispered and you felt him tilting his head closer to you, as to let you know he was listening. “You wouldn’t kill me, right?” you asked, even if you weren’t sure you were ready for an answer, knowing Michael wouldn’t lie because he never did.

He forcefully grabbed your chin and forced your face against his. 

He roughly kissed your lips before pecking them a little more gently once or twice. 

He groaned once again and put your head back against his neck.

That was your answer. 

And it meant he loved you and he wouldn’t hurt you.

But now, go back to sleep, idiot.

Jason Voorhees

Because of his past and everything that happened to him, Jason perfectly understood what it felt to wake up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat and completely distraught.

Now he came back from the dead, he didn’t really need to sleep any longer, but he never forgot the feelings. 

And flashes of his bullying and death were still haunting him.

So when he felt you jolting awake next to him, he was quick to bring you closer to him and gently stroke your hair to calm you down. 

When you would go to sleep, he would often follow you in bed so it would allow him to watch over you. 

He liked to watch you sleep because you looked like an angel. 

It was also your most vulnerable moment of the day, and he wanted to make sure no one could disturb your rest or hurt you.

With everything that happened to him and his home, Jason was overprotective with you.

You clung to him, hiding in his chest for a little while as he cuddled you and gently rocked you like his mother would do with him when he was a scared child. 

He also hummed a lullaby into your ear to make you feel better and appease you.

Once you calmed down a little, you started to tell him what happened in your bad dream. 

He was a very good listener and spilling out everything allowed you to relax even more, realising how silly it was.

You dreamt that a man coming to camp at Crystal Lake was kidnapping you to drown you in the lake, trying that way to appease the “monster” living here. 

It sounded almost comical now you were saying it out loud; the only way to keep the “monster” of Crystal Lake happy was to leave his soulmate and home alone. 

He hummed in thought at your words before gently loving on you, showing you you had nothing to fear. 

He even flexed his muscles for you to feel how strong he was. It slightly made you smile. You knew Jason also liked to show off.

His next mission would be to get you back to sleep.

He strongly believed you needed your beauty sleep; because you were the most beautiful creature he ever witnessed and because his mother always taught him that sleeping was important to be happy and in good health. 

And he wanted you to be happy and in good health more than anything.

If you couldn’t go back to sleep, he would try to find a solution with you.

It could be to have a shower with you so all the bad vibes could be washed away. He had mixed feelings about water, for obvious reasons, but he enjoyed your naked body against his.

It could be to go on a walk together. He knew the forest like the back of his hand, so you weren’t worried about getting lost when he was by your side. He was also bringing you to the nicest settings he could find, and under the bright moon, it was getting quite romantic.

Or it could just be bringing you some water or watching TV with you, whatever you would need to feel better. He was a good boy well taught by his mother, so he was obeying you in a flash. 

His duty was to make sure his partner was all safe by his side.

Next time someone would come to Crystal Lake though, he would take revenge on your nightmare by giving them an extra cruel and violent death. 

Not that you would ever know that.

Bonus: Freddy Krueger

It’s hard to say that Freddy was loving you, because this demon didn’t really know what love was.

But he was obsessed with you. 

And more than anything he enjoyed playing with you and that was why he never killed you or hurt you. 

He liked to scare you though, and to be a little bit mean.

Technically, he had no body and no reality in our world. So his only way to “spend time” with you was... to grab your mind and bring it into his nightmarish world.

Freddy was literally your nightmare. 

Your best one. 

Most of the time.

And he hated to let you go. 

But when you were getting very mad at him for being such a teasing asshole, he would finally let you wake up with a pout on his lips.

He also liked to show you how easy it was for him to kill anyone when they were in his world. He was a show off. 

He felt so proud when sometimes you seemed a little bit impressed by his power.

You saw countless people getting killed without being able to do anything to save them. Freddy never understood when you were asking for him to let them go. And it was generally only darkening his playful mood.

Sometimes, he allowed you to save someone. But he would want something in exchange… which were often sexual favours. 

Freddy couldn’t deny that it was hard to resist you and it was very easy to make him do whatever you wanted when you were getting into the seduction territory.

Sometimes you didn’t wish to save them though. 

A few times, you even called for Freddy.

He was always more than eager to answer your call, even if it was quite surprising. He enjoyed being wanted by you though. 

He enjoyed it even more when you asked him to torture and get rid of some people who hurt you. 

You would watch them getting so delicious hurt, and begging for their lives and dying in the most awful way. You would eat popcorn and all kinds of snacks while Freddy was playing with them. 

He was always extra cruel when it was someone you brought here because he knew it meant they hurt you.

And he was then a little bit nicer to you, because you, for once, enjoyed the show he was giving you, and because he wanted to be the only one to be mean to you.

Once or twice, it happened that Freddy gave you the power to control people’s nightmares.

Freddy liked to hurt people and to kill them, but he also loved to corrupt you.

When you asked him to do the job yourself, he laughed and agreed to that plan. 

It was then he discovered that if he liked to play with you as his pet, he loved even more to bring chaos with you by his side.

And you enjoyed destroying lives a lot more than you would like to admit it, especially to Freddy.

Jason Voorhees

While he is worried about you being so distant at first, he does understand it when you explain it to him. He, too, occasionally needs space to do his own thing, especially early in the relationship, when he is still a bit overwhelmed with someone actually giving him positive attention.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent himself can be fairly distant at times, especially when he is working and needs to concentrate. So don't worry, he won't bother you when you need your space. He gets it, really.

Freddy Krueger

Getting a bit of distance from Freddy is fairly easy, since you two only see each other when you sleep, so I doubt you being a fairly distant person is even gonna register with him. Unless he feels like pestering you a bit, which he occasionally does, just for the fun of it.

Brahms Heelshire

No. Sadly, Brahms is probably the worst s/o to have for a distant person. He is the King of Clingyness, after all, and once he reveals himself to you and you drop the whole doll business, he will be stuck to your side 24/7 and throw a tantrum if you try to get some alone time.

Bubba Sawyer

Bubba doesn't mind, especially, while he is working. The issue would be more getting his brothers off your back; unlike Bubba, who would do anything to make you happy, they choose not to understand the concepts of boundaries and personal space. You might have to ask Bubba to give them a stern talking to on your behalf.

Michael didn’t notice you had a cold at first

Of course he had been gone for two days on a killing spree

When he finally came back, soaked in blood and covered in dirt, he was caught off guard by you wrapped up under a blanket on the couch

Normally, this wouldn’t have caught his attention, but the pile of tissues on the coffee table was an indicator that something was off

He walked up to you and stared down at you as you breathed through your mouth with your eyes closed

After a few moments you finally opened your eyes

“Jesus, Michael! Why the fuck did you sneak up on me!?”

He only tilts his head in confusion at the change of your voice

Why did you sound different, Y/N??

After being with Michael for some time now you could read his body language and knew what was going through his head

“I have a cold, Michael.”

You’re cold?

Michael begins to wrap you in blankets

Not that kind of cold, Michael.

After you explain it to him he nods his head, but you’re still not sure he totally gets it

He tries his best to take care of you, but the silent killer really has no idea what to do

And after you kept having to get up and clean up and fix whatever mess he made in his attempt to help, you had to ask him to stop

“Michael, you know I love you, but you can’t put an unopened can of soup in the microwave for seven minutes.”

Thank god you were only sick for three days

Freddy Krueger:

Normally, Freddy only got to see you at night, so when you randomly showed up to the dream world during the daytime, he knew something was up

“Aw, couldn’t get enough of ol’ Freddy last night?”

You only replied with a groan, as, unfortunately, everything that happens in the dream world happens in real life, and that goes both ways

You were laying face down on the floor of the boil room, shaking and snotting everywhere

“The fucks wrong with you?”

“I have a cold, Fredrick.”

“Ew.”

He always knew you weren’t in the mood for his antics when you called him that

Fortunately, Freddy was human once and knew what a cold was, so unlike Michael, you didn’t have to explain

But Freddy’s not a very caring guy, even as your boyfriend

“Don’t touch me, I don’t want your snot to get on me.”

“Bite me, Krueger.”

“Maybe another time, sweetheart.”

But if you keep laying there, on the floor of his boiler room

He’ll give in and take care of you

“You owe me for this, Y/N…”

He’d shape the boiler room into your bedroom and carry you to bed

He’d wrap you up in blankets and play with your hair as he laid next to you and rambled on about whatever came to his mind

And, if you kept bugging him, he’d eventually go get you something to eat or drink to help

But despite the fact that he knows better than to put metal in the microwave, he’s not a great cook

The best your getting is soup (in a bowl, thankfully)

Your dreams give you away

(Yes, he'll watch your dreams if he's not already controlling them; there's no privacy with this man)

And he's very interested in these dreams you've been having recently

It only takes a couple for Freddy to quickly snap

You'll go to sleep one night only to find yourself immediately in Freddy's domain

The setting and environment feeling very familiar somehow

You won't see him at first, but you'll definitely feel him around you, his voice echoing around the dreamscape
