SMUT. MINORS DNI. 18+
It felt odd in a way, being alone for the first time.
Usually you were surrounded by your fellow Slytherins, the smell of cigarettes and cologne something your nostrils had grown accustomed to. The sound of vicious insults or bitter rants making a nest in your ears. The sight of scowls with liquor in their hands, their knuckles typically bruised and bloody.
But right now, all of that was gone. The air in the courtyard was clean, the breeze blowing past you providing you with the smell of the earth. Your sights were centered on a giant oak tree, as well as the moon that dimly illuminated the area below. It was an odd change, your surroundings being so settled. You couldn’t help but wonder what you would’ve become if you hadn’t been placed in Slytherin. Maybe yellow would’ve suited you better.
It wasn’t that you despised your housemates, even if they were a group of misfit toys. Mattheo protected you, Theo tutored you, Draco was always glued to your side. It wasn’t them that troubled you. It was what wearing the sickening shade of green meant. Submission to the dark lord. Following the ideology of pureblood nonsense. Especially being one of the only prominent girls, there was always the lingering question who’d you marry and reproduce with.
Yuck.
“Am I interrupting?”
You didn’t need to turn around. You’d recognize a Weasley’s voice anywhere. “Unfortunately not,” You admitted. You hated to admit you knew which Weasley twin it was, a lanky Fred Weasley plopping down beside you on the concrete steps. He stretched out his long legs, mere inches separating both of you. “Is there a reason you’re perched out here instead of doing shots with your friends?” Fred asked. How could you explain why? Oh yes, I am having an existential crisis because of the fact my dress is emerald. Want to go inside and split a chocolate frog?
“Where’s your other half? Didnt think you two separated,” You quipped, brushing off his question. Fred took the hint, leaning back on his hands. “Currently snogging Angelina Johnson,” He answered. This caught your attention, your head snapping to look over at him. “The chaser that wiped the floor with Blaise last season?” You asked. Sometimes you forgot how small this dreaded University actually was. Fred nodded, shrugging. “Aggressive on and off the field, just the way George likes em,” He replied.
You snorted. “Ahh yes. Makes sense a Weasley would enjoy being slutted out,” You snickered. It was too easy of a jab. Fred began to man spread, his long legs in your personal bubble. “I wouldn’t be so hasty little serpent. A few of us know how to put a brat in their place,” He smirked. The cocky motherfucker winked, heat dashing across your cheeks. You must be in a different dimension. There’s no bloody way a Weasley made you blush. “You’re cute when you blush,” Fred praised. He couldn’t help but notice how good you looked in the moonlight, the beams highlighting your features.
“Are you complimenting me Weasley?” You questioned. You avoided his gaze, trying to ignore the fact your heart skipped a beat. “Obviously not, i’m flirting with you,” Fred replied, unable to control the smile creeping across his lips. You were just so easy to tease. “What makes you think you can flirt with me?” You asked, turning your head to look over at the ginger. He shrugged, meeting your firey gaze with ease. “Perhaps it’s because we’re in the same boat, sitting out here alone in a bloody courtyard while the yule ball is less than five hundred feet away,” Fred explained. You audibly scoffed. “Weasley’s can’t afford a boat,” You spat.
Fred chuckled at your insult, your venom harmless to him. “Considering you’re out here I think it’s safe to say your boat has sank. Guess we’re on the same island together then,” He replied. You couldn’t help but find his facial expression smug. “Great,” You grumbled. You rested your chin on your knees, contemplating your life decisions. Fred sighed. “Well, if my presence really isn’t that valued i’ll relocate,” He said. He began to rise to his feet, your body doing a one eighty. You didn’t realize your hand was gripping his wrist until it was, desperately holding him in place.
“Sit down Weasley. I-,” You paused, looking up at the ginger. “I’d prefer it if you stayed.”
Fred grinned down at you mischievously, resuming his place beside you. “Figured you’d say that. Just wanted to hear you say it,” He gloated. You slapped his arm. “You’re unbearable. You know that don’t you?” You grumbled. Fred couldn’t help but laugh. Your annoyance was adorable. “You seem to like it,” He replied. You frowned as he stood up in front of you. “Do not,” You argued.
“Do too.”
“Do not!”
Fred extended his hand in front of you. The faint sound of classical music could be heard over the stillness, the wind having faded out. “Care to dance?” He asked. The choice was standing right in front of you, demanding an answer. You could say no and continue moping on the stairs. You could say no and go back inside, all eyes on you once again. Or you could say yes, potentially having a good time with a boy you didn’t belong with. Dancing with a Weasley? Draco would have a field day with this one. But Fred’s hand never looked more appealing than it did in that moment.
Hesitantly you took his hand, allowing him to bring you to your feet. Even in heels he easily towered over you, the ginger not hesitating to bring you close to his chest. “You know you can drop the bad girl act with me, I won’t tell,” Fred said, guiding you back and forth. You were an awkward dancer, despite the endless ballroom dancing classes your parents put you through. “It’s not an act,” You argue. Fred looked down at you, his face painted like he knew you. Like he could see right through your hollow shell.
“Sure it isn’t. And i’m not the best prankster in Hogwarts,” He quipped. You slowly spun you around, giving you time to catch up as you almost tripped in your heels. “You’ve really got quite an ego, don’t you Weasley?” You asked. Fred grinned as he pulled you back close to him. “Thats a bit hypocritical, don’t you think?” He asked. You glared up at him. “I think not,” You argued. Even though your words were laced with venom, you couldn’t deny how much you enjoyed his touch.
So gentle but so assertive, guiding you. Your mind strayed away, imagining him guiding you a different way. Guiding you to take his cock, to ride him until the sun came up. “Hey? Are you listening little serpent?” Fred asked, his voice coming back into frame. You blinked a few times, trying to regain your composure. “Sorry, what?” You asked. Fred slowly guided the dance to a stop, the song ending. You couldn’t help but wish it’d last forever. “I was asking what you’re thinking about,” He said.
You could feel yourself turning red, your filthy thoughts flooding to the forefront of your mind. You felt tongue tied, unable to confess your dirty fantasies. “Ohh, I see,” Fred said. You couldn’t bear to look at him in the eye, embarrassed enough to be in this position. You felt his slender fingers slide under your chin, guiding you to look up at him. You allowed him to guide you, his eyes boring into yours. You liked that, allowing him to guide you. Even if he was supposed to be bad for you, his touch put you on cloud nine.
“Do you like that? When I guide you? Take control?” Fred asked, his voice dropping an octave lower than before. You could’ve dropped to your knees in an instant. “Maybe I do,” You replied, not wanting to cave, not just yet. Fred leaned down further, pressing his lips against yours. His lips were warmer than you thought they’d be, filling the void inside of you. The void that craved approval and validation. His lips provided all of that and more. He guided you towards the giant oak tree, pinning you against it.
The sharp bark scraped at your back, a groan escaping your lips as Fred’s refused to stray from yours. You raked your hands throw his hair, pulling at the roots roughly. Fred whined into your mouth, smirking as he pulled away. “Cute,” He murmured. His eyes flickered behind you, ensuring no one was around. “As much as i’d love to make you squirm, we can’t do much here,” He whispered. You pulled him back to your lips, sliding your tongue into his mouth. You couldn’t get enough, your body craving him.
“That eager, are we?” Fred asked, pulling you back in for another kiss. You gently bit his bottom lip, pulling it towards you. “Fuck me, at the very least Weasley,” You ordered weakly, your body betraying the attempt at dominance you were spewing. Fred grinned mischievously. “Turn around for me pretty girl,” He purred. You did as asked, his large hands pushing you against the tree. You could hear the clinking of his belt, your core throbbing in anticipation.
His large hands pushed up your dress, pulling your panties to the slide. “You’re lucky we’re in the courtyard, otherwise i’d make you beg and scream for me to fuck you,” Fred purred. You felt his tip brush up and down your folds, a moan escaping your lips. One of Fred’s hands flew to your mouth. “Gotta keep quiet little serpent. Dont want anyone to hear you being a whore for a Weasley, do you?” He taunted. He pushed himself inside of you slowly, your body feeling like it may split in two.
“You’re fuckin soaked for me,” Fred mused, placing a sloppy kiss against your shoulder. Your moans were muffled by his hand, your walls struggling to accommodate his size. “I’m bigger than Malfoy aren’t I?” He asked teasingly as he bottomed out inside of you. You grabbed onto his wrist, yanking it away from your mouth. “In your dreams Weasley,” You spat, whimpering as he bucked his hips ever so slightly. Fred began to suck at the side of your neck, harsh enough to leave a hickey. “Dont leave marks on me,” You argued, moaning as he began to thrust into you. Fred released your neck with a pop, satisfied as the skin began to turn purple.
“Whys that? Afraid your boy toys will find out you’ve let me in between your legs?” Fred asked, beginning to pick up the pace. His pace was brutal, his hand flying back over your mouth to muffle your sinful noises. “When they ask tell them. Tell them how I ruined you. How a Gryffindor made you cum in a courtyard like a dog in heat,” Fred huffed. He continued to viciously snap his hips into yours, his cock abusing your g spot with each thrust. You moaned his name into his hand, gripping one of his wrist and the tree for support.
“You’re so fucking tight, so perfect,” Fred groaned into your neck, his breath hot against your skin. He removed his hand from your mouth, his hands taking their rightful place on your hips. “I’m going to make you cum on my cock. You understand me? You’re going make a mess for me,” Fred ordered. His orders were hypnotizing, your legs beginning to shake as he held onto the fabric of your dress. You could feel the knot inside of you tighten, a familiar feeling coming.
“Please make me cum Freddie, fucking please,” You pleaded, your orgasm coming faster than you’d like to admit. Fred chuckled, fucking you mercilessly against the tree. “There she is, there’s my sweet whore. Go on, cum for me,” He panted. You squeezed his wrist tightly as you came, euphoria washing over you as you came on his shaft. Your legs trembled, threatening to give out on you at any moment. You felt Fred’s hips stutter, the ginger pulling out of you.
He guided you onto the ground, your bare knees hitting the dirt below. You stuck out your tongue, allowing Fred to cum inside of your mouth. “Holy shit,” Fred moaned, watching as you swallowed every last top. You both sat there for a moment, your highs subsiding as you soaked in what you had just done.
“Hey y/n?”
“Yeah?”
“You wanna grab a butterbeer sometime?”
“Shut up Weasley.”

This Is War {Fred Weasley}
Tumblr media
Pairing: Fred Weasley x Fem!Reader
Summary: After Slytherin loses the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor, (Y/N) decides to get back at them... and at Fred Weasley.
Word count: 5.3k
Read part two here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Look at them," Draco glowers at the group of people flying around the other side above the pitch, moving to stand right across from us. All of them are wearing matching red and gold uniforms, a very distinctive contrast to our (better-looking) green and silver ones. "They think they have a chance against us just because Potter is their Seeker. If you ask me, I've seen Flobberworms moving around faster than him."
The rest of the team laughs. I have the sudden urge to point out the many times Harry's beaten Draco in the past, just to shut them up, but I choose to keep it to myself. After all, we're on the same team, even if I often don't agree with my teammates. Besides, I would never hear the end of it, and the last thing I'd want to do when I'm so close to graduating is to get in trouble with Lucius Malfoy because his son is a whiny baby.
I keep observing the opposite team. All of them have gathered around in their own little broom circle, listening to what one of the three girls is saying. I spot Harry Potter with his back facing us while Ron Weasley stands beside him, looking defeated already.
And standing next to him are his older identical twin brothers. The worst of them all, by far. Those two are just so hard to like. They're careless, and reckless, and love to waste their time coming up with useless little experiments. They specifically have taken quite a liking to pulling pranks on us Slytherins daily, and frankly, It's become very annoying.
Three nights ago, in fact, the Weasley twins and a few other Gryffindors took it too far when they decided to bombard our entire Common Room —and our dorms— with Dungbombs. And three nights later, we're still mad. How they managed to sneak past us and plant all those bombs remains a mystery, but one thing is for sure: they've declared war and we are not backing down. "I'd love nothing more than to see their faces when we win that Quidditch Cup," Adrian Pucey says next to me. "It'd be the perfect way to get back at them for their little prank last time."
The rest of us mutter in agreement. "Well, if we want to do that, then we have to play perfectly today. Considering It's the final game and all," I point out. "That means we can't let them score too many points or catch the Snitch. And that means you'll have to be extra quick today, Draco."
He shoots me a nasty look as if he's disgusted by the fact that I'm telling him what to do. "Thank you for sharing that with us, (Y/L/N)," Graham Montague adverts his attention from Gryffindor and turns to me, the same look on his face. "Unfortunately, I don't remember making you our Co-Captain, so you might want to keep any comments or useless observations to yourself."
I hear snickering behind me but I do not turn around. Being the only girl on the team definitely comes with its cons. Sexism, for example. "I'm certainly doing a better job than our current Captain," I mutter quietly while rolling my eyes.
Down at the pitch, Madam Hooch steps into the center of the field, next to a brown trunk, and blows her whistle, which is somehow heard over the loud cheering from the crowd. Both teams fly closer to each other. Gryffindor shoots daggers at us and, as I take a long look at all of them, I find one of the twins staring directly at me. They're identical but, because of their little 'history' of messing with me and my fellow classmates, I can tell them apart almost naturally. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
I can tell immediately that it is Fred Weasley who is smiling mockingly at me and a wave of rage runs through me.
Of course, It's Fred. I've discovered throughout the years that, even though both twins are bad enough on their own, Fred is by far the worst of the pair. While George can sometimes know when to stop, Fred does not care nearly as much about crossing the line. I glare at him, hard enough to get him to look away first, but his smile only grows bigger and he winks at me. I finally break eye contact, but only because I want all of my focus to be on the game and not wasted on someone so immature as him.
Once everyone is set, Madam Hooch opens up the trunk and the two Bludgers shoot into the sky, quickly followed by the Golden Snitch. Then, as soon as the Quaffle finally shoots free, the game starts.
It feels like a long match, like an endless cat-and-mouse game as both teams try and catch up to each other. For the longest time, It's a close call between scores, which makes all players —and the public— tense. Lee Jordan's commentary is all over the place throughout the game; one minute, he's excited when Gryffindor is in the lead, and then the next one he's accusing Slytherin of cheating when we take it (which most of the time ends up being true, but I look past it). Despite this, we put up a fairly good fight, and for the first time in so long, it feels like the Quidditch Cup is finally ours.
Unfortunately, we don't put up a good enough fight.
I'm too busy avoiding Bludgers and trying to take the Quaffle away from the opposite team that I nearly jump from my broom when I hear the whistle blowing again. Confused, I halt my flight and look around. I quickly spot Draco in the distance, running a hand through his hair in frustration, and I immediately know what happened.
Harry caught the Snitch. Again.
"Gryffindor wins!" Madam Hooch announces.
A loud wave of cheers erupts from the Gryffindors in the crowd, hugging each other and jumping excitedly at their victory. I groan as the rest of the opposite team lands back on the ground to go and congratulate Harry for the catch. I watch as they smile and pump fists into the air, and I shake my head in disappointment. I really thought we were going to win this time. "Well, I guess we're still the best team, huh?" A voice says and I turn to look at the person.
Fred is the only Gryffindor still mounting a broom, and he doesn't seem to be in any rush to join his teammates. He leans back effortlessly as if he's lying on a couch, with his hands behind his head. I scowl at him. "Shouldn't you be down there celebrating your victory, then, instead of bothering me?"
He shrugs. "I'd much rather be here, watching your defeat from up close."
My nostrils flare and if I had my wand I'd hex him here and there. "Aww, but don't worry," He fake pouts. "There'll be plenty of opportunities to try and win in the next few years. Too bad you won't be here to see it."
He finally flies away with that stupid smug look on his face and it takes everything in me not to throw a Bludger at his head. I try to ignore the fact that his words struck a nerve because he's right. This was my last chance to help win the Quidditch Cup for Slytherin and now It's gone. I missed it.
Shaking the thoughts away, I go to join my sulking teammates, who are all gathering around Draco. "I almost had it. I even touched it with the tip of my fingers," He's saying when I arrive. I have a feeling that that is not at all true. "But then Potter had to come in and ruin everything. I bet that broom of his was charmed with super speed or something."
No one says anything about it. I know they're upset about losing but they would never dare blame Draco for it. "We were so close, though," says Cassius Warrington in a frustrated tone.
"Yeah, and now we've got to think of another way to get back at them," Adrian adds.
As I watch the other team still celebrating, a light bulb turns on above my head. "Don't worry, guys," I reassure them. My wicked smile brings them a sort of comfort. "I think I have a plan to get them back."
***
"Okay, but why do I have to get dragged into this?" Daphne Greengrass, my puzzled best friend, asks as we step out of our dorm and into the dark hallway. "I don't have any beef with Gryffindor, that's your thing."
"Right, but, aside from myself, you're the only person that I trust to do this job," I tell her, quickening my steps down the stairs. "And you're way more tolerable than the others."
"Gee, thanks for that,"
"Plus, the Slytherin team is around the castle keeping watch of any Professors or Prefects or Filch," I add. "And Draco and Blaise have to get the two Gryffindor girls, so we're stuck with the most important task, and we have to do it right."
"Because of course, we are," Daphne rolls her eyes.
"Did you bring the secret ingredients?"
She reaches into her bag and takes out two clear bottles, one with a dark purple liquid in it and the other one with something that almost looks like mud. I smile delightedly. "You have no idea how happy I am that you just happened to have Sleeping Draught and Polyjuice Potion lying around the dorm."
"That's funny because back then, I remember you said that me brewing potions for fun was 'a bit pointless if you have to wait so long to brew them'" Daphne recalls.
I clear my throat uncomfortably. "I do apologize for that. I will never doubt you again."
The plan is simple.
Gryffindor is currently having a party to celebrate their victory at their Common Room. Draco and Blaise Zabini have written a letter addressed to Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil, probably the easiest targets we could get, asking them to meet Michael Corner and Cormac McLaggen at the Courtyard. Pansy Parkinson will charm said letter to fly to the girls; once they get it, Draco and Blaise will put them to sleep, take a strand of hair from each of them, and bring it back to us. We mix the hair with our potion servings, drink the potion, and once we transform we sneak into the Common Room and add a (lot) bit of Sleeping Draught into the drinks. When we've made sure that everyone in the room fell into a deep slumber, we take the Quidditch Cup from them and they'll wake up in the morning with no idea of what happened. It'll look like everyone was just blackout drunk and they lost the Cup because of their irresponsibility.
It's a great plan if you ask me.
"I do have a question, though," Daphne stops walking once we make it to our own Common Room. "Don't we need the password to get into their Common Room?"
I grin and reach into my pocket, holding out a piece of paper in front of her. 'Mimbulus mimbletonia', it reads. "I stole it from that Longbottom kid in Transfiguration earlier," I say. "At first, I figured we'd rely on luck and wait until someone came around to help us, but it was much easier to just take the password from him. Plus, it saves us time."
"Huh," Daphne takes a seat on the nearest chair and folds her arms, impressed. "Good thinking. So, when are Draco and Blaise coming?"
"I'd say they should be here—"
Before I finish my sentence, and as if they've heard us talking about them, the Common Room door opens and both boys walk toward us with triumphant looks on their faces. Draco holds up the small pouch in his hand. "We got them."
"Oh, good," I sigh in relief as they hold out their pouches to us. I take the one in Draco's hand and Daphne takes the other one. I open mine up and a few long dark hairs come out. I can immediately tell that it is Parvati's. "Good job, guys. Daphne?"
She takes out two cups from her bag and hands one to me. Once I take it, she pours the muddy liquid into mine and then onto hers. I glance down at my cup, grimacing when I notice It's bubbling in the most disgusting way. I turn back at Daphne before I can start feeling nauseous. "Ready?"
She gulps, also eyeing her potion, then gives a slow nod.
We each throw our hair into the liquid, which completely consumes it until it is not visible anymore. A few moments pass and my potion begins to shift colors. The muddy brown is completely gone, replaced by a shocking pink that nearly blinds me. I look up at Daphne's portion and hers has turned into... well, lavender. "You don't happen to have an idea of how much these will last, do you?" I ask her.
Daphne smiles weakly. "One can never really tell, am I right?" She raises her glass in front of me. "Bottoms up!"
We both chug down our potion at once. Mine tastes... okay. I don't know why I expected it to taste like shit but It's sweet, although not overpowering. Daphne's doesn't seem to taste too bad, either, seeing as she drinks it with ease.
The bad part comes right after.
I've never consumed Polyjuice Potion before this so I'm not sure exactly what to expect, but I've heard the transformation process is extremely unpleasant so I'm not expecting something good. Once it finally starts, I let go of my cup and I'm crouching on the floor in less than 10 seconds. My insides feel like they're twisting and turning into irreparable knots, and my skin feels like It's burning. I hear Daphne moaning in pain but I don't look up at her. My eyes are glued to the bubbles forming in my hands and arms. I nearly begin to panic but I try to remain calm as my skin begins to darken, my fingers shrinking a bit and turning slightly thinner. A long dark hood begins to take over my vision while I'm still crouched, and it takes me a moment to realize that It's just my hair, which doesn't seem to stop growing. My robes suddenly begin to feel lighter than usual as my body takes the shape of Parvati. The pain stops as suddenly as it started and it leaves me trying to catch my breath. I try to stand up straight again, catching sight of Draco and Blaise's faces first. Both of them look like they've seen a ghost for a moment before their expressions shift into amusement. "Whoa," Blaise mutters. "That was terrifying to watch. But you guys look exactly like them."
I don't say anything as I turn to find Daphne again, but I'm met with Lavender Brown staring at me with wide eyes instead. We both gasp, frozen in our spots. To anyone else, she wouldn't look any different than the real Lavender, but I still find a bit of Daphne in the way she stares at me. "Oh Merlin," she tilts her head. "This is terrifying."
"Tell me about it," I agree while I take one last look at my hands. I grab my hair; It's so long that I have no idea what to do with it. I've never had it this long so it does sort of feel heavy.
"Yes, yes, It's all very impressive," Draco says in a dismissive manner. "But we still have other important things to do."
Even though I hate that he has to be such an asshole all the time, he's right. We cannot lose sight of what's important.
So, Daphne and I go to change clothes and then head to the Gryffindor Tower. It feels like a marathon but we finally stop in front of the Fat Lady's portrait. She eyes us carefully and for a moment I begin to think that she's onto us. I try not to look suspicious and I can sense Daphne doing the same next to me. "Password?"
"Mimbulus mimbletonia." I say without stuttering, trying to seem casual and like It's not my first time sneaking into Gryffindor's Common Room.
She nods and the portrait slowly opens. I almost let out a sigh of relief as we walk in but I'm stopped by the sight of the Common Room. I've never been here before but It's hard to take it all in when there are so many students in it at the same time. Nonetheless, I can tell that It's so much different than Slytherin's Common Room, and not in a good way.
"Okay," Daphne says, but It's barely audible through the loud music playing. "We're here now, there's no turning back. Do you see the drinks anywhere?"
I scan the room a bit longer. I spot the music box in a corner, next to a couple making out against the wall; I spot the Quidditch Cup exhibited on a clear shelf, next to Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley who are talking on the other side of the room; and I do see many people holding cups, which means that we'll probably have to go around slipping Sleeping Draught in all of them.
I finally catch a glimpse of a long table with different kinds of snacks and—
"I see something!" I tell her excitedly and I point to the table, where there are also two huge bowls filled with red and gold liquid, probably charmed to look that way.
Daphne smiles in satisfaction. "Let's get started, shall we?"
"Wait," I stop her. "I think we have to split up."
"Huh?"
"There are people drinking already so maybe you could try and slip some Draught in their drinks while I try to slip it into the bowls first?" I suggest.
She nods. "Right. I'll start on the left side of the room, then."
We divide the potion and part ways, and I start making my way through the crowd until I can't see her anymore. A few people say hi to me and, even though I don't know much about Parvati Patil, I try to act how I've seen her act— bright, outgoing, and a little bit annoying. Luckily, though, no one stops to make conversation so I make an easy escape until I finally reach the table.
I take out the cup that Daphne gave me and I discreetly begin to pour the purple liquid into the cup. Fortunately, it does not change colors. "I see what you're doing," a voice says from behind me and I almost drop the cup.
I turn around, trying to act normal, and then I see that the person talking is none other than Fred Weasley. Out of all people. "What?"
He grins. "You're spiking the punch even more, aren't you? I didn't know you were such a party animal, Parvati."
I almost forget that I look like a whole different person right now. I chuckle and raise my arms. "You're right. You caught me."
"Well, don't let me stop you. Go on ahead. It'll definitely make things a lot more fun around here." Fred winks at me before he walks away and I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding.
Aside from that small incident, I don't bump into anyone else. Everyone's already too drunk out of their minds to notice me. It makes it easier for me to slip more Sleeping Draught into people's drinks, and I keep doing it until I find Daphne again and we're certain that we've got everyone. "And now we just wait."
***
It doesn't take long for everyone but Daphne and I to start collapsing from sleep. In fact, it happens very quickly.
Daphne and I are giggling like maniacs as we tiptoe around until we're in front of the silver Quidditch Cup, admiring its beauty for a moment. "I can't believe we actually pulled this off," Daphne says under her breath, her eyes glowing. "We're so cool."
"Told you we could do it," I nudge her side. "Now for the final act..."
I take it in my hands. It feels heavier than I expected but it feels so good to hold it. "What a beauty," I keep admiring it until I'm brought back to my senses. "Okay, now let's get out of here."
We finally make it out of the Common Room and it feels like we've been liberated. Our surroundings begin to feel familiar again. "I'll go let the others know that we have the Cup," Daphne announces excitedly.
"Good idea," I tell her. "I'll go take this to the dungeons."
She nods and we part ways once again. I try to hide the Cup in my bag as much as I can but It's so big that the top part still sticks out, but it will have to do.
If the path to the Gryffindor Tower felt long, this time it feels eternal, especially when the tension of being caught follows me around. I have to be extra careful this time; if anyone sees me I'll get in huge trouble and I don't even want to begin thinking about that. So I have to sneak around and be very aware of my surroundings if I want this to go as planned. It's all up to me now.
When I'm finally sure that I'm outside of the public eye, I turn a corner and let out a shriek as I almost come face-to-face with a tall figure. And of course, It's Fred Weasley again.
Wait...
"H-hey, Fred!" I smile brightly at him. Maybe it comes off a bit too forced but oh well. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to check up on you and Lavender, since you guys left in such a hurry," His eyes find my bag and my stomach drops. "What are you doing with the Quidditch Cup?"
"I'm..." I try to think fast but without looking suspicious, and then I realize that I'm most certainly failing at it. "I was just on my way to polish it! And then I was going to bring it back later."
"Were you?" Fred raises an eyebrow and steps closer.
I nod. "Of course! What, you think I'm stealing it or something?"
He's practically hovering over me now and I have to crane my neck to look up at him. He extends a hand out to me. "Why don't you let me help you, then?"
"I'm sure you're probably busy—"
"I have nothing on my schedule right now." He cuts me off. His gaze makes me feel like a criminal. "I'd love to help out."
I shrug. "It shouldn't be too much work, I can do it on my own, really—"
Suddenly, my back is pressed against the stone wall and I'm caged in between both of his arms. I yelp in surprise. Fred's face is awfully close to mine and he's staring at me as if he's trying to figure out my identity. My true identity. "You're not the real Parvati, are you?"
I swallow hard and do the first thing that comes to mind: I take out my wand from my back pocket and point it at him. "Flipendo!"
A yellow light surges out of the tip of my wand and knocks Fred back and away from me. As soon as his back meets the ground I make a run for it.
I have no idea where I'm heading, my vision is far too clouded right now, but I do not look back and I do not stop running. I've forgotten all about being discreet and I've stopped worrying about getting caught by someone else. I'm already in enough trouble as it is.
My feet guide me outside of the castle, and I know that if anyone finds out I'll get detention for at least 2 months, but I don't care as I keep moving. My stomach begins to turn in that weird way again all of a sudden. "Oh no, please, not now," I beg.
Despite the uncomfortable feeling, I'm still running until I reach the dock at the Great Lake. It's barely visible and the water is so dark that it looks like a huge void, but at least no one can see me here. The pain continues for a few moments, and when it finally stops I look at my hands. They look like my hands again. I reach to touch my hair and realize It's not nearly as long anymore. Even if it didn't last long, it feels good to be back to my old self.
"There you are,"
Crap.
I turn slowly to look at Fred, who apparently does not know to mind his own bloody business. His eyes widen in surprise once he sees me but then he shakes his head and smirks. "Well, hello there. I never thought that, out of all people, you would try and pull off something like this," I remain quiet. "I believe you have something that belongs to us." He takes a step closer.
I pretend to ponder. "No, I don't think I do. I think you have the wrong person."
"Oh, silly me, right? I thought you looked different back there," He says then takes out his own wand. "Accio Quidditch Cup!"
The Cup suddenly flies out of the bag, all the way into Fred's hands.
"Give it to me," I run towards him and try to yank the cup from his hands. Unfortunately for me, his grip is way stronger than mine. He raises it above his head, which, given our very distinctive height difference, is impossible for me to reach. I jump while extending my arm as high as possible, but It's useless. He's still looking down at me like I'm an annoying toddler wanting to get his attention. "Weasley!"
"Sorry," He shrugs. "Finder's keepers."
Grumbling curses at him under my breath, I reach for my wand and point it at the cup, using the same Summoning Charm as him. As soon as the cup is back in my hands, I run for it. I hear Fred shouting my name behind me, but I don't turn back. I'm laughing like a maniac as I run to the opposite side when I'm suddenly stopped in my tracks. For a second, I cannot move. It's like an invisible force is restricting my entire body. And then I'm yanked back by said force until I'm back in my previous spot, right in front of Fred. He snatches the cup from me and grins. "Thank you, kind lady. Oh, and I'll be taking this, too."
He snatches my wand from my hand and begins to run away. My first instinct is to jump on his back, ignoring his protests as I try to reach for my wand first. He manages to shake me off before I can do so, but I don't give up. I'm still trying to reach for him, for anything, but between all that wrestling, I slip from the dock and fall into the freezing water. When I emerge, my whole body is shivering and my teeth are chattering uncontrollably. I look back at the dock and Fred is still standing there, his mouth open as he stares at me in shock. And then he bursts out laughing. "You'll p-pay for this!" I shout at him but he just keeps laughing.
I hear something behind me— it almost sounds like a waterfall. But as I turn around I don't see anything of the sort.
Instead, I see a tentacle. A huge tentacle coming at me from the water.
The color drains from my face, I'm sure, and I let out a loud scream. I scream so loud that I don't hear anything else. I think Fred is shouting something, and I'm not sure if It's at me or at the giant squid, but I don't find out. I shut my eyes close but my body is frozen in place. I can't move. It might be the fear, it might be the cold, it might even be both, but I can't move a muscle.
What a terrible way to die this is.
"(Y/N)," Fred calls from the dock but I can barely hear him. My heartbeats are too fast and too loud. "It's okay, It's gone! Just swim back to shore."
I'm too busy hyperventilating to listen to him. I was just face-to-face with a giant squid— a bloody giant squid. My mind is not processing anything at the moment and all I can feel is panic, still.
I hear a splash of water nearby and a pair of arms suddenly sneak around me below the water. A small gasp escapes my lips as Fred's face appears right of mine. As if by instinct, I wrap my arms around his neck. It's the closest we've ever been. "Look at me," he says but I don't need him to. I'm already getting lost in the soothingness of his eyes. "You're okay. Nothing or no one will hurt you as long as I'm here, okay?"
I nod wordlessly. I'm still shaking uncontrollably and I probably look like a mess right now. "I'm going to get us back to shore now," He informs carefully. "Is that okay with you?"
"Y-yes, please."
As soon as I give him the green light, he picks me up bridal style and begins to swim back to shore.
We get to land safe and sound, just as he had promised. I feel a huge sense of relief the moment my feet touch land, but my arms do not let go of him and his hands are still on my waist. When I turn to face him, he's already looking down at me. "See?" he says with a chuckle. His voice is soft and comforting. "It's all good now. You have nothing to worry about."
For a moment, I seem to forget that the boy standing in front of me is the boy that I've hated for all these years. I forget all the pranks he pulled on me and my housemates, all the times he enraged and mocked me. I forget about all of that and I don't know what comes over me but I lean up and I kiss him.
I can tell that Fred is surprised by how he freezes as soon as our lips touch, but once he composes himself, he responds. He pulls me closer and tightens his grip around me, which is probably the moment that I start losing my grip on reality. A wave of warmth washes through me and it feels... nice. Especially after going out for a midnight swim. His lips feel soft against mine and It's nearly impossible to stay away from them. My hands grip his hair and he lets out a low grunt against my mouth. The sound is sinful. It makes me want more of him.
We pull away after a while, though, and none of us say anything. My eyes flutter open almost at the same time as his, and for a moment It's like a sort of dream where nothing is real.
But of course, he has to ruin it.
"Wow," Fred's dazed smile widens. "What a nice way to say 'Thank you for saving my life'."
I blink a few times and it takes a moment to snap out of my trance, and when I do I am mortified. When I finally come to all my senses, I unwrap my arms from his neck and push him away. As soon as he lets go, I start to look for my wand. I finally find it lying next to the Cup but I don't even bother to grab that. It was a mistake to even try and steal it. It has already caused way too much unnecessary drama.
Plus, I just kissed Fred fucking Weasley.
My clothes are sticking to my skin and I'm still dripping from head to toe, which just adds to my distress, but I don't let it stop me as I run back to the castle. I hear Fred calling after me but I don't turn to look back at him. I am way too embarrassed and frustrated at myself to do so.

*Y/n's POV*
Soon it will be Christmas, and I will be going home with my boyfriend to meet his family for the first time. It's exciting and scary at the same time, but for now, we live like normal. I had just gotten to breakfast when I realized I was missing my potions text book, we had potions first. I let out a frustrated groan.
"What's wrong m'dear?" Fred asked worriedly
"Nothing, just left my text book in the common room, I'll have to eat quickly then go grab it" I breath out
"Ah, no love, I'll go get it! You eat, I've been down here for a while"
"Oh will you Fred?! Thank you m'love!" I kiss him on his cheek before sitting down tiredly. If I had turned around I would have seen his blush and the way he touched his cheek with a soft smile before he went to go get the book
"Whipped" I hear Ginny say under her breath, I look toward the girl with a smile
--meeting the family--
I had been anxious to meet his family, I don't know what they're like. That's why I brought a deck of muggle cards to maybe teach Mr. Weasley a couple games.
I obviously had already met, Percy, George, Ron and Ginny. But the others I had never met. The door gets thrown open
"OH! HOW WONDERFUL! Y/n, we've heard so much about you!" I get pulled into a hug from Mrs. Weasley.
"And I, you! It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Weasley" I suddenly felt calm in her embrace
"Oh please, please darling call me Molly" she starts "We've already started dinner, I hope you don't mind"
"Of course not! please lead the way" I follow her right in through the living room to the kitchen and table area "lovely home you have" I say as I looked around with wide eyes, adoring the wood, adoring the homeliness
"Oh thank you dear, such a sweetheart" she mumbles the last part, hand on her heart
"Oh! Dar-mling! Hw ar ya-" Fred says, while chewing his food, I simply tap my finger to my lips and he lets out a sound of recognition, he chews his food quickly (with his mouth shut), swallows and stands up
"Sorry about that love, How are you?" he asked kindly
"I'm great, darling" I look over to his family who, other than Percy, George, Ron and Ginny, looked shocked
"Bloody hell, that's a brilliant witch!" a tall, muscled, red head, with scars all over any area showing, approached me "I'm Charlie, Charlie Weasley, whatever you're doing, keep doing it."
"Haha, He's trained well" Molly approached with a huge hug
"You are my new daughter in-law, I will accept no one else"
"Oh-Pfft" I let out a giggle as I turn back to Fred, he looks toward the floor with a shy smile and light blush, I grab his hand and sit at the table with my new in-laws
As the night continued I had played 4 or 5 hands of poker with Mr. Weasley and Fred, who was sulking because we were going to play without him
--The common room--
"Darling, hand me that" I pointed at the book to the left of the chair I was on, that was on a stand nearly connected to the couch
"of course Love" he said quickly while playing with a fire cracker he found in one of their old trunks
"Thank you love"
Ginny looks at Ron who looks at George, they all then break into laughter

When I see you again (Fred Weasley x Reader)
Tumblr media
PART 1. 2.
female!reader, Gryffindor!reader
Summary: It takes place during the Second Wizarding War, months after Bill and Fleur's wedding. Reader is on the run after her family has been caught by the Snatchers. Loosely following cannon.
Pairing: Fred Weasley x reader (mentioned)
Characters: Dean Thomas, Fred Weasley (mentioned),George Weasley (mentioned), Ted Tonks (mentioned)
Warnings: war, mentions of death, angst, english is not my first language so there might be grammatical mistakes, capital letters, etc.
It was the break of dawn. You did not dare to travel during the day in case any Snatchers might be creeping around. However, travelling at night seemed even more terrifying considering that’s when dementors, inferi and other dark creatures were most active. You were on your own for months, travelling from place to place, never staying anywhere more than just a few days. You did not think it was wise to come back to the Godric’s Hollow, and all the safe houses provided by the Order seemed to be heavily protected by charms and spells, so you could not find any of them. You spent most of your time travelling through the countryside. Camping in the woods or hiding in abandoned muggle houses. The latter was a lot riskier since the streets were often infested with dementors. Muggles didn’t know what was going on since they couldn’t see them, but the terror they felt by their presence was enough to chase most of them away from their homes.
You were intentionally avoiding all magical places you could think of. You knew there was no place you could go to be completely safe, but there was no way you would not run into a Death Eater in the middle of the Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. You didn’t even dare to try to go back to the Burrow. To be honest, you feared what you might find there if you did.
Your hiding tactic was going quite well, in fact, you had gotten quite skilled at protective spells and charms and were even getting better at transfiguring objects into something edible. However, being cut off from the rest of the wizarding world had its downgrades. There was no way for you to hear any news of your friends and family. You occasionally turned on this muggle invention called television, but since muggles weren’t really aware of what was actually going on, they weren’t broadcasting much useful information. A part of you was glad, at least you heard no familiar names amongst the ones of missing muggles. But sitting there, completely cut off from everything and everyone, was getting more and more exhausting, and quite frankly, you believed it would be a lot less terrifying to actually get caught by a Snatcher.
After careful consideration, you decided to go back to your family’s vacation home. The last time you were there, the village was crawling with trolls and acromantulas, but that was months ago! Surely, it must have been cleared out by now! And if not… well you would cross that bridge when you get to it.
So, at the break of dawn, you gathered all of your most valuable things, your wand, a cloak and a couple of tin cans you found in one of the houses you were hiding in, and disapparated.
Two seconds later you felt yourself landing face down onto something sharp and cold. A painful groan escaped your lips as you felt your nose had just been hit by something that felt like a brick. You then realised you didn’t land face down, but instead, bumped right into a tall stone wall you assumed used to be a part of someone’s home. You lifted your wand and quietly whispered:
“Episkey!”
The pain stopped almost instantly only to be replaced by a shocking realisation the moment you turned around to see where you were.
You were exactly in the place you wanted to be, only the place looked nothing like it was supposed to. You were thankful for the absence of trolls and acromantulas, but the reason for their absence was that there was absolutely nothing around that they could possibly prey upon. There were no people, no roads, houses or plants… it was a wasteland. As you turned around trying to find any shape of something that used to be your old vacation home, a terrifying thought had crossed your mind. A thought you were trying so hard to push away for months.
Where… are they?
Tears began to fill your eyes and before you could stop you let out a desperate, heart aching sob. It felt like a punch to the gut. Your legs were no longer listening to you, and you collapsed to the ground.
“Please… please…! Where are they? Someone… anyone…?” you sobbed.
A part of you hoped that someone or something would show up and help you. A Patronus, a house elf, a bird…  at this point you would even greet a troll with open arms
But no one was coming to save you. There you were, all by yourself, in the middle of the rubble that used to be your family’s backyard. During the months of running and hiding you had not once felt as alone and hopeless as you did in that moment. You crumbled completely, thinking of all the people that meant anything to you. You parents, younger cousins still being forced to attend Hogwarts, friends you last saw during Bill and Fleur Weasley’s wedding. Oh, what you would give for just one familiar face showing up, picking you up the ground and embracing you, telling you everything was going to be okay. Telling you all of them were alive and well. That your parents escaped the Snatchers’ grip and were somewhere in a safe location. That your cousins were able to escape this now dreadful place that used to bring you so much joy during your school years. That your friends were somewhere out there, searching for you and wishing you were with them. But no one was coming, and by the looks of it, no one was going to.
You considered just staying there, in the middle of a wasteland. Crying yourself to sleep and hoping to die before you must wake to this dreadful reality.
However, after the tears have dried out, you managed to pluck up all the remaining strength and bravery that was left in your malnourished, sleep deprived body, and somehow, stand back up on your trembling feet. You took a deep breath and forced yourself to take a step forward. Then another one. By the third one you were on the verge of collapsing yet again, but then, something unexplainable happened. You blinked in confusion.
You realised you no longer knew where you were. You knew you were travelling somewhere, that there was a reason for you to be standing here, in the middle of nowhere, but you couldn’t for the life of you remember what it was. You looked around, hoping to gain some clarity, but it was useless. It was as if someone had just gone inside your head and altered your memories. A surge of panic went through your body. You turned back around and returned to the place you were standing two seconds ago. And then you remembered. You remembered everything you knew a moment ago. This was your vacation home. You came here to find someone. Anyone. How could you possibly forget that?
You took two steps forward again, and your mind went blank. Once again, you blinked in confusion and frustration.
What is happening?
You took two steps back again and remembered.
Two steps forward, forgot.
Two steps backward, remembered.
Through the cloud of bewildering uncertainty caused by this development, another thought hit you like a train wreck. A thought that caused you to feel a spark of something you hadn’t felt in a really long time. A spark of something you never thought you’d feel again. Hope.
A shocked giggle escaped your lips.
It was a spell!
A cloaking spell! Someone was hiding right there in front of you, in your own house! That’s why you couldn’t remember anything when you walked forward. Someone was there, perhaps watching you at this very moment. Someone who didn’t want to be found. Which could only mean…
“Mum?”, you called out.
“Dad?”
No one answered.
“Please, if anyone’s there, it’s me, Y/N! Your cloaking spell is very strong, I can’t see anything!”
You waited patiently for someone to answer, but no one did. You thought to yourself that perhaps it wasn’t such a great idea to be standing here screaming. What if it wasn’t one of your own? What if it was a trap? But you pushed those thoughts away. You were way too tired and desperate to be questioning this miracle that has presented itself.
So what if it was a trap? Nothing can be worse than this uncertainty! You sat down in the rubble and stared at the seemingly blank space in front of you, your eyes scanning every detail of it in hopes of seeing someone appear.
“Maybe they didn’t hear me?”, you thought to yourself.
But before you could do or say anything else, a muffled, but somehow familiar voice yells out something in your direction. You tried to stand up, but before you could do that, the same voice exclaimed,
“Petrificus Totalus!”
Your entire body stiffened up. You couldn’t move. Your eyes widened in terror as you heard footsteps approaching. Then, a figure appeared in front of you. You could see his face clearly.
It was the last person you expected to see there, and yet, despite the fact he had just petrified you, you were never so happy to see anyone in your entire life.
It was Dean Thomas.
...
Dean was just being careful; you couldn’t blame him for that. However, lying there petrified, without the ability to speak, was getting really frustrating. You thanked your lucky stars that it was a classmate and not a Death Eater standing in front of you, because now that you’ve thought of it, that could’ve easily been the case. You should’ve been more careful.
Dean circled around you like a vulture, his wand still up and pointed at you. He examined your face, the clothes you were wearing and your wand. He took the little bag you were carrying and emptied it. When he realised there was nothing in it except two portions of canned beans, he finally sighed in relief and whispered,
“Finite Incantatem!”
Your body relaxed.
“Dean!”
Your mouth was dry and the words that came out of it sounded like a squeak, but you did not let that bother you. Not in this moment.
“Dean, it’s so good to see you…”
“Not so fast!”, he whispered and pointed his wand back at you, “First tell me who you are!”
“You don’t know who I am?”, you asked in confusion.
That was highly unlikely. Dean and you weren’t exactly the closest of friends, but you did know each other. You spent five years in the same common room, often chatting about muggle movies and music, not the mention all the times you spent helping him and Seamus Finnigan with their homework. Two years ago, you even attended the same secret club at Hogwarts called Dumbledore’s Army.
“No, I know who you are”, he said heavily, “I just want to see if you know it”.
You blinked.
He wants to be sure it’s not a trick.
“Oh… okay…”, you started, “My name is Y/N Y/LN. I was in the Gryffindor house at Hogwarts, two years above you. I… I used to watch you argue with Oliver Wood about soccer! Yes, you were saying it’s a more exciting sport than Quidditch… until he accidentally knocked over a candle and almost burnt down the entire Gryffindor tower”.
The memory of that made you chuckle. It felt like centuries ago! Even the corners of Dean’s lips flickered like he was holding back a smile.
“Yeah… do you remember what happened next?”, he asked, still not entirely convinced.
“Yes… McGonagall rushed in and put out the fire… nobody wanted to tell her who did it and Fred and George blamed it on Peeves…”.
You cleared your throat. The mention of Fred and George Weasley felt like a stab in the heart. You rubbed your eyes before tears could come out, trying to make it seem like a nonchalant action, but Dean wasn’t fooled. However, this subtle burst of emotion at the mention of your two best friends seemed to convince him it was really you, and he finally lowered his wand.
He put his hand on your shoulder, and you threw yourself at him, pulling him into a hug. He was a bit startled by this action, but in the next moment he wrapped his arms around you and returned the embrace.
“Dean… what are you doing here?”, you asked after finally letting him go.
“I’m in hiding, of course”, he said.
“Yes… but what are you doing here?”, you pointed at the wasteland around you.
“Oh, right…”, he smiled apologetically and whispered, “The Unseen Village 32”.
For a moment you were standing there in confusion. Then, two very long seconds later, a large yellow building appeared right in front of you. Before you could stop yourself, you cried out in amazement. It was your family house, a bit rugged and damaged, but it was definitely still standing!
You were lost for words. Dean took you by the hand and led you through the front door. The inside of the house was almost completely preserved.
“It’s a Fidelius charm”, he explained, “I’m the secret keeper of this house, nobody can find it unless I tell them the location”.
“Fidelius?”, you raised your eyebrows, “Isn’t that like, really advanced magic?”
“Well, yes…”, he scratched the back of his head, looking almost embarrassed, “But I had some time to practice it. Ted Tonks taught me how to do it before he… you know”, a flicker of pain appeared in his eyes.
“Ted… Tonks? Nymphadora Tonks’ father?”.
You knew Nymphadora Tonks was a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Her family home was one of the safe houses the Order was using during the night Harry Potter was moved from Little Whinging.
Your home in the Godric’s Hollow was one of the safe locations as well. In fact, it was the house in which Arthur and Fred Weasley showed up. You could see their faces as clear as day. Arthur was bewildered, shaking, and rushing through your house, trying to get to the Potrkey as soon as possible. Fred was on the verge of tears.
“What happened? What’s wrong?”, you kept asking.
The words that followed your question still haunted you to this very day,
“Someone’s been hit. We think it’s George”.
Dean’s voice pulled you back to the current moment.
“Anyway, this was the only house that was still standing after the acromantulas have cleared up… or so it seemed. You never know, there might be others out here, using protective spells and what not…”
“Right…”, you shook your head, trying to focus on his words, “Well, it’s a very powerful spell. Thank Merlin you came out, I would’ve driven myself insane trying to figure out why my mind is suddenly going blank”.
“Sorry for petrifying you, I had to be sure it wasn’t a trick”.
You nodded,
“I would’ve been offended if you hadn’t”, you said teasingly.
Dean chuckled.
“Well, I knew you were out there, they mentioned you the other day in the PotterWatch”.
You shook your head in confusion.
“In the what?”
Dean seemed just as confused as you.
“In the… PotterWatch. You have been listening to PotterWatch, right?”
“Dean, I have no idea what you’re talking about”, you said sincerely, “You’re the first person I’ve talked to since I ran away”.
“What… you’ve been on your own this entire time?”
“Yes”
“Well how did you… how did you make it?”, he was baffled.
You shrugged.
“Honestly… I don’t know. I’ve been avoiding crowded spaces and scavenging for food… I’ve gotten pretty good at protective charms as well”.
Dean looked almost impressed. You blushed.
“Blimey! That’s… I wouldn’t have lasted three days on my own”, he said.
“Aren’t you on your own now?”, you asked.
He smiled sadly.
“I was with Ted until recently…  Oh!”, he jumped up, startling you, “That reminds me!”
He looked around the room and rushed towards something that was sitting at the small coffee table next to the dusty red sofa on your right. It looked like a small, dirty box. He took the box in his hands and started tapping on it with his wand while mumbling something.
“Oh, I’m sure it was… Padfoot? No… Fawkes! No, hang on…”
After a few minutes of tapping and mumbling, he yelled out in excitement,
“Ah, there it is!”
You heard a couple of muffled voices coming from the box.
It’s a radio, you realised.
The voices were getting louder and clearer, until finally, you recognised who they belonged to.
“…to introduce our new correspondent, "Rodent"!
“I'm not being Rodent! I told you, I want to be "Rapier"!”
“Fred!”, you cried out and grabbed the radio from Dean’s hand.
You couldn’t believe it. It was Fred. And George! They were alive! They were fine! Oh, it felt so good to hear their voices! You felt a warm, excited feeling spreading through you, as if your heart finally started beating properly again.
“Oh alright, "Rapier"! Could you tell our listeners the various stories you've heard about the Chief Death Eater?”
“Yes I can. As our listeners will know, unless they've taken refuge at the bottom of a garden pond…”
This made you chuckle loudly, as tears were filling your eyes yet again. However, this time you didn’t try to stop them, and instead, you just let them silently slide down your cheeks.
“…You-Know-Who's strategy of remaining in the shadows is creating a nice climate of panic! Mind you, if all alleged sightings of him are genuine, there must be nineteen You-Know-Whos running around!”
You didn’t even pay attention to the words he was saying. They weren’t important. Who cares about You-Know-Who? Who cares about Death Eaters? Nothing was as important as the fact that you could hear Fred Weasley’s cheerful voice coming from this small, dusty box. You savoured every sound it made, clenching it firmly in your grip, like you were afraid the voice would disappear if you didn’t.
After a few minutes the broadcast had ended. You raised your eyes to meet Dean’s, almost as if you were silently begging him to bring the voice back. Dean was leaning on the doorway, clearly a bit uncomfortable, but wanting to let you have your moment with the radio. You felt a bit embarrassed. Finally, he cleared his throat and spoke gently,
“This was from a few weeks ago… I actually wanted to show you another one…”
He carefully took the radio from your hands and started tapping on it again, mumbling words that you realised were passwords to access the radio line.
“Ah, yes… this one”, he handed you the radio again.
You sat down at the red sofa and placed the little box near your right ear with the nervous excitement.
“Well, dear listeners, we have a very special announcement today that might lift up your spirits”, you heard George’s voice say.
“It has certainly lifted ours!”, Fred continued.
“We are very happy to inform you that a group of our favourite “Undesirables” and muggleborns has just been rescued from the Ministry and is currently transferred to a safe location”.
“The freed are alive and well and mostly unharmed”.
“Mostly unharmed? What does that mean, mostly unharmed, Rodent?”.
“Well, “Tentacula” …”
“Tentacula!?”
“It means that all off them have managed to keep all of the limbs they had before they were captured!”
“So, if someone was missing a leg before…?
“They didn’t grow it back, but they did most likely keep the other one!”
“What are the names of the freed, Rodent?”
“I told you, it’s “Rapier”!”
“Sorry, Rapier!”
“Well…”
You were clinging onto the radio for dear life while listening to the names Fred was listing. Your heart was racing. You heard lots of familiar names, some of them were your friends, your acquaintances, people you’ve only met once, people you studied with at the library at Hogwarts…
“And of course, last but not least…”
You clenched your jaw in anticipation. When Fred said the names of your parents, a quiet sob escaped your lips.
They are fine! They are fine! They are alive and they are safe! Everything is alright!
Fred’s voice suddenly deepened in uncharacteristic seriousness.
“However, even though Mrs. and Mr. Y/LN are safe and sound, their daughter Y/N is still presumed to be missing”.
“What would you say to Y/N if you knew she was listening?”, George’s voice asked.
“I’d tell her that her family is alive and well and desperate for news of her whereabouts. As are quite frankly, all of us here at the PotterWatch”.
“Well, there you have it, dear listeners! On that note we are ending this very special episode of PotterWatch!”
“Protect yourselves”.
“And each other!”
“And as always…”
“Support Harry Potter!”
You were still holding onto the radio a few minutes after the episode ended. Dean didn’t say anything, and you were grateful for that. You were still savouring the words you just heard. Fred and George’s voices. The names of your friends that were confirmed to be freed from the Ministry. The names of your family. You didn’t even realise you were shaking until Dean gently put his hand on your shoulder. You looked up at him in a surprise, as if you had completely forgotten that he was still there. He smiled at you softly as you put your hand onto his and squeezed it. There was only one thought on your mind. You looked straight into Dean’s eyes in a sudden burst of determination and said, in a quiet but clear voice,
“Dean… We have to find them”.

Summery : Hazel Lily Potter comforting Fred Weasley after his elder brother's death
Warning : Sobbing angst 💖
Don't want no other shade of blue but you.
No other sadness in this world would do
- Taylor Swift
Hazel
I brushed my hair out of my face as I stared at myself in the mirror. The reflection showed a person I barely knew. She stared right back at me, making me sink low in my own skin. It showed me a woman who had lost her childhood to something beyond fairness. The innocence that had once laid within her hazel eyes was replaced by a cold, wretched stare as if she could read my darkest secrets. The furrow of her eyebrows made her look a little more intimidating. But I knew, inside all of that, was a scared little girl, who got dragged into the wars she denied. Scars scattered all over her silhouette, telling a story that I had lived.
A story that was tragic. It was haunted. Haunted by the screams of innocents and the screams of the stolen virtue. Haunted by the tragic tale of liberty and the horror of bloodthirsty, prejudiced brutes. It was haunted by the purloined childhood of innocent youth, forced to mature, Screams of every heart and body for mercy, Tears of every patriarch to spare his kin of cruelty, fight of every mother to save her child, the sorrow of every lover who had to watch each other being pummeled to death. Haunted by the unforgivable curse that led the fights, screams of torture, sorrow, tragedy, and vulnerability. I could hear them all as clear as the day I had fought for the world. The casting of spells that emerged a light that left me blinded and the screams of terror that made my bones shiver. The cries of the loss of a loved one. It was all audible just as clear; as I traced a scar that carved itself permanently on my collarbone.
I gasped out loud and turned my head at the knock that pulled me out of my daze.
"Come in." I turned back towards the mirror as I stared at the scar that was laying on my forehead right above my right eyebrow. I saw my brother's reflection as he stared back at me through the mirror.
"It's time to go, Haze." The softness in his voice was agonizing.
"Yeah." I whispered back. I took one final look at myself in the mirror and walked out of my room. Harry following right after me.
We walked out of our prents' house at Godric's Hollow, and walked in an empty alley and apparated to a graveyard.
We stepped forward as we saw the Weasley family standing together. Each one trying to hold back their tears to comfort the other. We both took a seat as the memorial service started. Bill Weasley, the eldest son had given a beautiful eulogy for his younger brother.
As the sun peaked slightly above the horizon for the last time that day, It was time to bid our last goodbyes to one of the member of Weasley family. A family who had treated me and my brother as their own. Harry and I never had a family. Neither knew what it was nor knew what it meant till we met the Weasleys. The love they hold is pure, rich and authentic in a way that could make an orphan feel what family could be like. What family should be like. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to get to know this family. And to get to experience their love. The nurturing feeling that I was robbed off of was gifted to me by Molly, a mother who had limitless love for her children and the ones she took under her protective wings of motherly love.
And standing here, watching as she gets stripped down a child was making my heart churn in agony. Tears streaming down her once moon like glowing face as she buries one of her children six feet deep. I could never comprehend the hurt and agony that she must've been feeling.
Harry and I stepped forward to give our last goodbyes and to give our condolences to the Weasleys. Harry and I had brought some daisies.
We both put them down on the gravestone of Percy Ignatius Weasley. I had a little handwritten note that I laid down on his grave. We moved forward to give our condolences to our only existing family.
Aurther was the first one I hugged. I hugged him tightly. He had given me the fatherly love that I had craved for years. He hugged me back with same force, his eyes flowing tears freely as he sobbed. And I hugged him tighter, if it was possible.
"How are you doing, my love?" He pulled back slightly and pushed back some of my hair from my face and asked with tremble in his voice. I wiped the tears off his cheeks,
"I've been alright. Don't worry about me much, Arthur. How have you been?" I asked and my eyes started watering,
"Feels like I've been through hell." He said and hugged me back, I felt Molly's hand rubbing my back, that's when I realized that I was trembling with unshed tears and dumbed downed sobs.
I turned around and hugged Molly. I needed her right now. I needed her the most. But the others needed her more than I did. I felt my dress getting soaked as she broke down in my arms.
"Shh, hey, Molls don't cry. I can not understand what you're going through right now, but I promise you I'm right here, I'm with you and I'm not going anywhere. You're a proud mum of a hero." I gently said to her as she wrecked with sobs. Tears were flowing down my cheek freely now.
I pulled back a little and wiped her eyes. "Come on, Molls. You're the bravest of us all." She cupped my face in her hands and gave me a broken smile.
"Now, first of all, tell me. Tell me when are you coming back to live with us? I need you in the house, Haze. We all do. Please come back, both of you. You'll come back, yeah? Oh, And don't forget to put ointments on your injuries, darling." She said, pleading. Keeping her tears at bay.
"After two weeks. Harry and I are coming after two weeks. I promise I'll try to remember." I held her hand that was on my cheek.
"Okay." She said with a smile and lovingly patted my cheeks.
Ginny was standing beside Molly. She looked like she had been crying for weeks. I enveloped her in a hug. She was like a little sister to me. My bestfriend, my twin flame, my partner in crime, my everything.
"Awh, my baby." I hugged her tightly and let her grieve on my shoulder. She looked weak and tired. She was in no condition to talk.
"It's all gonna be okay. I promise." I whispered to her and I ran my fingers through her hair gently. She simply tightened her hold around my waist let out silent tears. She let go of me after a while and went back to being held by Harry. I watched as he gently kissed her forehead repeatedly in hopes to comfort her.
Georgie was standing right beside her and without any hesitation he pulled me in for a hug. He wasn't crying, no. He was trying to hold himself together to provide somewhat comfort to his family.
"How're you doing, little dwarf?" He asked with a brotherly smile.
"I'm fine. How've you been holdin' up Georgie?" I asked looking up at him. He wiped my tears away and kissed my forehead.
"Eh..." He shrugged his shoulders. He pulled me back into his embrace for one more time and then let go of me.
And instantly I was pulled into another embrace. A feeling of warmth spread all over my body as the pair of familiar arms wrapped themselves around me and pulled me in close. My head pressed up against his chest as I listened to the rhythmic beating of his heart. In this moment I felt complete. Soaking in all his love and affection as he embraced me in his solace. I never wanted to let go. His arms felt too comfortable to. I hugged him back just as fiercely. I felt all of my worries drifting away as I let myself bathe in the mellowness of his solace. Not letting myself lose in him, I pulled back slightly, looking up at him.
His sapphire eyes reflected the soul of a broken boy, which once held the happiness of the whole world. The gleam in them fading away as he smiled down at me. I wanted to catch it in a jar and protect it with my life. His smile was broken, yet it could light up the whole world. Guilt struck on his face as if it had latched itself on his existence.
It was Freddie. My Freddie.
"Hey, little darlin'. Got your head all banged up, have you?" He said with a light chuckle. I offered him a small glimpse of smile.
"C'mere." He pulled me back in his warmth and kissed the scar on my forehead.
He pulled away and I looked around to find Ron and Harry getting far away from the crowd. Ron had comforted us both thousands of times. It was Harry's turn to give him his shoulder to cry on. Bill and Charlie were standing far away. Saddened by the fact that the boy they saw growing up was lying lifeless, underneath the very soil they were standing on. They gave me a little wave of acknowledgement. Which I returned with a saddened smile.
"You wanna get away from here for a bit, Haze?" Freddie asked and I nodded my head without hesitation. I knew he needed to get away from here. I knew the moment I saw his face, he wanted to cry, sob till his voice gave up on him.
I took his outstretched hand in mine and looked up at his prominent face,
"That would be nice." I whispered, feeling if I spoke loudly the beauty and the tragidy of this moment would die.
He held my hand tightly in his, intertwining our fingers, as he led me far from the aura of grief and sadness.
He stopped near the furthest tree. It was a large oak tree. All alone, standing tall in all its glory. Providing shade to the grievance of people. He sat down, hidden away from all the prying eyes.
He pulled me down to sit beside him. My legs tangled on top of his. The moment was soft, almost fragile. If put under too much pressure might break into millions of scattered pieces. Our hands still intertwined as he drew circles on the back of my hand. I looked around, the light breeze of evening making the leaves rustle. The slight chatter of grievance could be heard in distance.
Graveyards were strange. They held this tragic peacefulness in them that was beyond comprehension. As I looked around, the gravestones shone with last rays of sun light. I wondered how each and every grave held a person that once made memories in this world. Some sad and some filled with happiness. The sudden realisation of existence and it's end came, sending shivers down my spine.
I heard a light sniffle. And looked at the boy sitting beside me. His face scrunches up in agony as it lit up with the redness left behind by the setting sun. His tears now freely flowing down his cheeks. The water droplets, so delicate, that they can remind one of the morning dew drop laying on the flower petals.
Even in agony, his face looked like it was carved up by the gods in daze of serinity. His eyes, Pools of sapphire that held too many emotions at the same time. His lips, pained by the caged sobs. His eyes glistened with tears that haunted the boy's dreams. His head leaned against the dark oak tree, contrasting his red strands of softness.
Even in his moment of vulnerability, to me this boy was nothing but beautiful. I took my hand back and straddled him, and took the trembling boy in my arms. He tightly held onto my waist, and hid his face in my chest as his body quivered with his vanquished sobs. His lips let out beaten apologies to his deceased brother. His voice horace and broken. His eyes shone with guilt and regret. And all I wanted to do in that moment was steal away all his sorrows, his thoughts of not being deserving of life.
But I didn't have it all in my hands. It wasn't upto me. So I just stayed there on my knees. Holding him close to my heart in hopes that he'll know how much he is loved by me. I caressed his hair as he broke down completely in my arms, not holding a sheer amount of his grief back.
"It was me, who was supposed to die. Why the fuck did he have to jump in?" He sobbed out. "Haze, it was me. I killed him. He's dead because of me." He cried out.
"Freddie, don't say that. Do not. Don't disrespect your brother's love and sacrifice like that. He loved you, honey. Don't be like that and let his love go to waste. He was brave. And that bravery came from you." I cupped his face in my hand and made him look up in my eyes. His eyes red from all the tears.
"I am the worst brother." He spoke in a broken whisper. I shook my head in disagreement.
"No. You've been the best brother to your siblings their whole life. Do you know how much Ron, Ginny, George, Billy, Charlie and Percy love you? How much I love you. I guess it was Percy's turn to be the best older brother for you, sweetheart. He just wanted to return the love you had given him, his whole life." I said as he looked up at me. His eyes shone with tears like a broken child's.
"But I was always mean to him." He whispered.
"Doesn't mean you didn't love him. Sometimes, we are mean to people we love. Yeah? Be proud of your brother's courage, Freddie. Be proud. He'd like that."
He nodded his head in defeat and leaned his head back on the tree. He sighed lightly, his hands still snaked around my waist, keeping me in place. He looked back at me. His gaze flickered from the scar on my forehead to the one on collarbone.
He gently grazed the scar with the pad of his thumb and let out another sigh. "you've got a scar here." He stated. "These aren't the only scars I've got." I whispered and stared straight in his eyes. "Tell me about it." He let out a sarcastic scoff. He pulled me closer to him making me sit on his lap. He gently pressed a kiss to my scar on the collarbone, making sure not to hurt me. And hid his face in my chest again. Holding me tight against his body.
He inhaled a large breath and exhaled with exhaustion as his head rested against my heart. I gently played with his hair and soaked the gentle moment of affection in. I kissed the top of his head and he nuzzled in more.
Call me selfish and twisted but the way he broke down in my arms made me feel complete.
We heard footsteps coming towards our direction. Fred quickly wiped his tears off, and took a deep breath in attempt to calm himself down. I got off of his lap and sat down beside him.
It was Ron, Harry and Hermione.
"We were looking for you both." Hermione spoke.
"Uh...yeah. I just wanted to um-clear my mind, so I dragged Fred here with me. Sorry." Fred gave me a grateful look.
"Yeah, no need to apologise. I just wanted to meet you. Sorry, I ran away with Harry for a while. Just wanted to clear my head." Ron spoke apologetically as he sat down beside me.
"Don't fuss about it." I hugged him tightly and we held onto each other for a while and then let go.
I felt Fred stand up, and I looked at him questioning.
"I think I should go. Mum must be looking for me. It was nice catching up, Haze. Bye. I'll meet you at the burrow." He said and left without any other word.
Harry, Hermione, Ron and I talked for a while and then we parted ways. We bid goodbye to the Weasley's and apparated away.
Harry and I landed in the same alley as before and walked towards the house.
"I saw you. You and Fred I mean. At the graveyard. Is there something going on?" Harry asked without looking at me.
"He needed a shoulder to cry on and I simply helped him with his grief." I said looking straight ahead as we entered the house. Harry locked the door behind.
"It looked bit too cozy for a shoulder to cry on." He mumbled.
"Harry don't speak about things that you don't have a single idea of. And since when did you start to care?" I spoke loudly.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"I guess it's time to address the elephant in the room. Harry, I am talking about the fact that you thought sacrificing yourself would win you a war." I spoke with no trace of emotion on my face. I wore a facade of a brave woman but inside I was trembling with fear. Fear of losing the war, losing my brother, losing everyone that I loved.
"Hazel, that happened a whole week ago. Let it go. What matters is that I didn't die. And I'm right here." He said trying to embrace me but I pushed him back, my facade breaking.
"What matters is that you didn't die!? Are serious right now, Harry? The fuck is wrong with you!? What matters is that, Harry, you didn't think once what would've happened to me even if we had won. I would've won a war without you Harry! Even though we won the war, we've been to thousands of funeral in last few days! And the thought of one of them being yours kills me! I've lost too much! I can't handle it anymore!" I yelled at him.
"What's that supposed to mean?! I've lost as many people as you have, Hazel! I've lost them too! You're not the only one!" He yelled back. His eyes full of rage and tears alike mine.
"YEAH, AND IF YOU'D HAVE DIED I WOULD'VE LOST ONE MORE! SO FUCK OFF!" I screamed at him and ran upstairs to my room and locked myself in. I slid down the wall of my room and brought my knees to my chest as I cried.
I heard Harry knocking, more like banging the door.
"Haze! Haze! Come on. Open the door. Please! I am sorry. I swear. But in that moment all I could think about was saving you. He wouldn't have killed you if he already had me. I couldn't have been able to live with the regret of not saving you while I had the chance. Haze, please open the door, for me. Please." His voice cracked at the end. I unlocked the door with my wand and he stepped in.
He looked at my broken state and ran to me and took me in his protective embrace. He wiped the tears off my cheeks and kissed my forehead and held me close as we cried. Cried for all the years of torture that the Dursely's brought in. Cried for our parents. Cried for the years of our childhood wasted after a cruel man. Cried for the way everyone put their blind faith on us and sacrificed themselves. Cried for the fear of losing the war after winning all the battles. Cried for Sirius, Remus and Dora. Cried for the Weasleys. Cried for every family that lost their loved ones because of a narrow mentality of a sociopath.
Cried till our lungs gave out and the exhaustion took over as we both fell asleep in each other's embrace.

Tumblr media
"Freddie, how in the world did laurie felt to the right? " You said, sighing at your beaten up copy of little women.
Fred moves his chair closer to yours, and said "love, laurie fell to the right" Leaving you with an oh.
That was the first time you Were bad at reading. You couldve swore that it said laurie felt to the right, but, when Fred reads it, it suddenly changes.
This also happens in class quite often, which snape loves. Snape love making fun of you reading the wrong thing, and he purposely make you read the most.
Sure most people are fine with it, but, you've mistaken words so much that when Snape makes fun of you, the whole class laughed ; except for Fred.
Even if Fred's a bit annoyed, he'll be nice. It became a common thing, that Fred sit next to you, and when you were told to read, he whispers what the book says.
Some muggleborns told you that you were what muggle call dyslexic,
"Dys- Dys what? " You said, "dyslexia, it's when.. Someone have a hard time reading, even in their first language" The muggleborn said.
That day on, you've learnt to accept it. But sometimes it can be tough.
"Fred, are you seeing this, meg is eating.. The desert? " You said, showing him your book. "Love.." Fred chuckles, "it's meg eating dessert, you know, the cakes and the ice creams? " .
"Oh" You realized. It was always the words being.. Magic? Once someone sees it it's different. But, Fred is fine with it. And, most of the time you give up reading any book, but, Fred makes you a little study and reading session, because the girl who told you you were dyslexic told him you were dyslexic. Although Fred doesn't know what dyslexia is, he cared for you, and he proved it.
Every evening, Fred reads you everything you're going to learn tommorow. "So, you need one vial of-- love? " He said, looking at you.
Your soft snores, and closed eyes, were beautiful to him. "Someone is sleepy" Fred grins, "I love you"
",'ove 'ou too" You snuggled up in his hands, ready to sleep.

Good evening, my most favorite ever, I am here to make a request 😝
This is 1 out of 2 requests (possibly even 3 just to keep you on your toes) that I will be making for your writing services.
For this I would like to ask for some relationship headcannons for Fred Weasley and my hogwarts dr self (you know, Alice)!! I can give you any pre-existing details for the relationship between them that you would require (bc I love talking abt them) but for the most brief and broad description they follow the best friends to lovers, twin flames, and young love tropes and they make me want to rip out all of my hair and scream until I can't anymore, along with giggling and kicking my feet at the same time.
Anywho, this is really lengthy. I hope you don't mind, I'm in my writing too many sentences era. Hope this can help with your writing slump, and if you want to throw some scenarios in to fit hcs, I wouldn't be opposed!! Just give me all of your little thoughts! Love you, Alice <3
OMGGG MY POOKIES!! these can be read as x reader but they’re definitely specific to fred and alice! also im using second person for YOU specifically
🩷 okay so first off fred is like insufferable when he has a crush and like it is 100% a miracle that you doesn’t find out about him liking you by him being so blatantly obvious about it
🩷 once yall do get together tho(finally), he is such a silly boyfriend. like he will leave you notes everywhere, on literally anything he can get his hands on. like you have a note on your hairbrush from him that says “you look so pretty when you are getting ready”
🩷 also he takes your things all the time without saying anything. like he takes rings off your finger and keeps them or keeps hair ties that you discarded on his wrist
🩷 you take lots of pictures of him with an instant camera that are enchanted but they’re badddd pictures, like terrible angles of him with bed head and a crumpled sleep shirt
🩷 he plays pranks on you but never mean ones because he doesn’t want to make you anxious, just silly things like charming all your mirrors to make it look like you have a mustache or making your quills write vulgar stuff instead of what you’re trying to write
🩷 before he decides to leave to start his joke shop, you try your absolute hardest to help him pass his classes and spend hours together working hard on his schoolwork
🩷 when the two of you fight, he is really good about apologizing for what he does wrong even if it’s little things and he never gets frustrated with you for being upset(he will get frustrated if you’re being silly though, trust)
🩷 he will randomly come up behind you for a hug and just bury his face in your neck, while you’re trying to work or do something important and he always whispers something like “cmon baby let’s take a break” even if you’ve only been working for a little bit
🩷 he finds it INCREDIBLY attractive when the two of you go up against each other in quidditch and you’re super passionate about beating him
🩷 you spend summer with the weasleys and the two of you get in A LOT of trouble because you’re talking and laughing so loud at night when everyone else is sleeping but you don’t care because yall are so happy together
thank u for the request lovely!! if anyone reading this would like to make a request, please check out my pinned post because i had SO MUCH fun making this hehe ☺️✨

The Hill between the Houses
Pairings: Fred Weasley x OC
Summary: The only thing separating the Weasley burrow from the Lovegood house was a hill. One hill that a young Lovegood girl became curious enough to climb up. A hill that gained a certain red-haired boy's attention once he saw said girl. What happens when this hill brings the two together?
Warnings: None. Just pure fluff
Tumblr media
You never know when the smallest of choices will set your life off onto a different path. You never know how or when your life may change forever. Whether you realize it or not, these seemingly large decisions can start relatively small.
The oldest Lovegood child was spending her afternoon as she always did, wandering around and exploring the woods surrounding her family’s home. As an eight-year-old girl, there wasn’t much in terms of entertainment while her father was busy with work. She had her little sister, of course, but Luna was hardly four years old. There weren’t many activities the two could do together that would keep them both entertained for long. So the older of the two found herself outdoors every afternoon. The woods she found such delight in weren’t that big, but she had been quite small. Not to mention thorough in her exploration. It would take nearly half an hour for her to explore a ten-by-ten area of the trees. Today, however, she decided to embark on a new adventure.
A small ways away from where the Lovegood house stood, lied a steep hill. To anyone else, it would seem like just a simple hill, but for the young girl, it could be equal to a mountain keeping the rest of the world from view of the valley where her house sat. And today, she was determined to get to the top.
Standing directly at the bottom of the hill and looking up, the Lovegood girl took a deep breath. It had seemed a lot easier from afar. Nevertheless, she had already made up her mind to conquer the tall mound of grass, so that’s what she was going to do. Without a moment’s hesitation, the young girl took a deep breath and started up the hill. She was hardly halfway up the hill before resorting to using her hands to help propel her up, already becoming exhausted. Her determination, however, never faltered.
Once the top of the hill had come into view, she let out a few giggles of excitement. Finally, she took the final step to the top and flipped over to collapse onto her back. For a while, the young girl simply sat and watched the clouds roll by while catching her breath. Then, after a few minutes, she sat up and looked towards her house. It seemed so small from this perspective. And the woods that she had spent weeks exploring seemed just as.
After scanning the trees surrounding the Lovegood house, the girl turned around to see an even bigger valley with another house standing in the middle. The house itself looked like it had initially been built with one story, and more floors had been added on top, held up by long, wooden beams. Out front were three children; one girl and two boys, all with flaming, red hair.
The Lovegood girl examined the three children and noticed they were all playing together. Even from this distance, she could tell the boys had been significantly older than the girl who seemed to be having the time of her life. Not long had passed before another woman appeared in the doorway, calling her children inside. From the hill, she couldn’t hear what was being said, only the woman’s voice.
Not a moment after the other children were called, a whistled tune could be heard from the Lovegood house, letting the girl know that her father wanted her back home. She turned back towards the house and matched his tune, letting Xenophilius know she was on her way before sparing one last glance to the house.
As the girl sent back her whistle, it could be heard from the ground at the Weasley house.
“Did you hear that?” one of the children had asked.
“Hear what?” his brother responded.
“That whistle, it came from over there.”
As he pointed towards the hill, the boy noticed a small girl at the top. However, he couldn’t see her face before she turned and began walking the other way.
“Fred,” his mother called again. “Lunch is ready. Come on.”
“Coming, mum!” he called back, bending down to scoop up his little sister. “Come along, Ginny, let’s go eat.”
Before heading fully inside, he turned back once more to look at the hill, but she had already vanished.
🌼 🌻
The next day, the Weasley boy had finished all of his chores early in order to make his own way up the hill, hoping to whatever god was listening that he would be able to see the girl from yesterday once again.
Much as the girl did the day before, the young boy stood for a moment at the bottom of the hill, bracing himself for both the journey up and the possibility of seeing her. However, it didn’t take him long to take one final deep breath and start the trek.
Once reaching the top, the Weasley boy put his hands on his knees as he leaned over to catch his breath. But all was for naught, however, when he looked up and had it taken from him once again. For just a few feet away had been the girl, with hair almost as white as snow and eyes swirling with thought as she stared up at the sky. Needless to say, it took the boy a few moments to compose himself before speaking up.
“Hello,” the girl spoke, beating him to it. Before he responded she sat up to look at him. “You’ve been standing there for quite some time without saying anything so I figured I would help you out.”
He could only stand there staring at the young girl who was staring back at him, kicking himself for not planning what to say during the trip up the hill.
“I- um. I live in that house down there,” he decided to say after a few moments. “I saw you up here yesterday and-”
“You were intrigued?” She finished for him. “I don’t blame you. I was rather curious about you and your siblings as well. I didn’t know any other children lived nearby.”
“Neither did we. You live in the house just on the other side of this hill, don’t you?”
“That is correct, yes.”
“Well as you could probably tell, that’s my house right there,” he said, pointing towards the direction he came. “We call it the burrow.”
“Charming,” she smiled. “My house doesn’t have a name I’m sorry to say but I do always say it looks like a rook from a chessboard.”
“Perhaps that could be its name? The Rook.”
“Perhaps it could.”
“I’m Fred, by the way,” he told her, holding out his hand for her to shake. “Fred Weasley.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Fred Weasley.”
As the girl began to shake his hand, a whistle had been heard from her house once again. She instantly turned around and whistled back.
“What was that?” Fred wondered.
“My dad. I must go,” the girl told him, letting go of his hand and heading toward the edge of the hill.
“Wait!” Fred called behind her, causing her to stop and turn towards him. “What’s your name?”
“Melody,” she answered with a smile. “Melody Lovegood.”

You lacked the capability to relax.
Being in Ravenclaw the expectations of the world were on your shoulders, not including the dementors that circled Hogwarts walls that made your skin crawl.
You had been up late studying with Hermione in the Gryffindor common room, who had already been dragged to bed by Ginny.
Clutching your quill you continued to scribble on the parchment paper, your temple beginning to throb.
“How did a Raven manage to fly into the lions den this late at night?” Fred Weasley’s recognizable voice asked you. You poked your head up from your Herbology textbook, Fred’s curious eyes watching you.
“I was studying with Hermione, she ditched me early. So much for an all nighter,” You explained, marking your page. You resisted the urge to fold the corners, placing your quill in between the pages about gillweed.
“Granger going to bed early to avoid studying? How out of character. Did you give her some of our drowsy draught potion?” Fred teased. You giggled, watching the lean quidditch player approach you. A white wife beater revealed how much muscle he truly had, his usual robes keeping them concealed.
He strode over to you confidently, taking a seat on the floor beside you. The fireplace cackled behind you, the warmth of the fire drawing Fred closer. “It’s almost three am, do you plan on sleeping?” Fred asked curiously. You knew as well as he did that he was notorious for sleeping through anything. Including the dreadful hail storm that once terrorized Hogwarts.
“I’m basically an insomniac at this point, I can’t relax for more than five seconds without racking my brain to solve an equation,” You admitted sheepishly. You nervously tucked your hair behind your ear as Fred leaned back on his hands. “Here turn your back towards me, I have some legit magic that’ll help you relax,” Fred told you. You hesitantly raised your eyebrow. The ginger tended to be a mischievous prankster, even if you weren’t a victim of his tricks.
“And you’re not going to prank me?”
“Pfft, of course not,”
“Promise Weasley?”
“I promise,”
You shifted around, your back now turned to Fred as you pulled your skirt down. You weren’t sure what to expect, acutely aware of how close you both were. Fred brushed your hair away from your back and over your shoulder, before beginning to massage your shoulders. “I thought you said this was magic,” You say timidly, his large hands massaging your skin with ease. Fred chuckled at your response, brushing some of his shaggy hair out of his face.
Merlin he needed a haircut.
“Yes this is the magic of relaxation,”
Your tense body began to slowly relax under Fred’s touch, the gingers eyes scanning your neck.
“Looks like you’re good at something other than pranks Weasley,” You say teasingly. Fred rolled his eyes. “I’m good at quidditch too ya know,” He countered. Fred could feel himself growing flustered as he continued massaging you, his eyes wondering down your figure.
“Your neck looks pretty tense, I can fix that for you if you want. I’ll just need you to turn around,” Fred offered, trying to appear cool and confident. You felt your face flush pink as you shifted around, facing him. You had never gotten a chance to interact with Fred one on one, George always connected to his hip.
The moment seemed oddly intimate, even though you had never considered relationships or sex worth your time. Yet the ginger sat in front of you with his large hands and soft lips, practically begging for you to kiss him. You had never considered yourself to be attracted to Fred Weasley, yet your body was yearning for more of his touch.
Fred couldn’t contain himself anymore, closing the gap between your lips and his. He tasted faintly of butterbeer, your eyes fluttering shut as your lips danced against his. Your arms found themselves around his neck, Fred’s hands slithering down to your waist. In a swift motion he had pulled you onto his lap, straddling him in front of the fire. Your fingers found his hair, small groans being swallowed by him as your hips bucked against his.
You could feel a wet patch growing in your panties, the soaked fabric rubbing right against Fred’s growing boner. His large hands slipped up your skirt, grabbing your ass. Your hips grinded against his, lust boiling in your stomach. “I wanna taste you,” Fred muttered against your lips, his words a confession. You felt heat rush to your cheeks as you briefly pulled away, Fred’s lips almost chasing yours.
“W-what Weasley?”
Fred brought his thumb to your lower lip, dragging it downwards.
“I want your lips wrapped around my cock as I make you cum on my face,”
His filthy words sent a shiver of arousal down your spine, right down to your cunt.
You went to unzip your skirt before Fred grabbed your wrist to stop you.
“Keep it on,” He whispered, his order teetering on the line of a plea. You swallowed as the ginger laid down in front of you, eagerly awaiting you. “I don’t wanna hurt you,” You admitted, causing the ginger to chuckle. You stood up, pushing your panties down to your ankles before stepping out of them.
“I’d be a lucky man if I were to die between your thighs. C’mere,” Fred told you. You kneeled down over his head, your cunt inches away from his face.
“Fred what if I crush-”
Your concern was silenced by Fred’s hands pushing you down onto his face. You whimpered as his warm tongue licked a stripe up your cunt before assaulting your clit. You felt your thighs tighten around his head as his hands kept you in place, your filthy noises becoming louder by the minute.
“Fuck, right fucking there,” You moaned, grinding your hips onto his mouth. His lips began to suck at your clit, causing your thighs to shake. Your eyes centered on Fred’s boner, his cock throbbing inside of his pajama pants. You leaned forward, hungrily shoving them down. The lack of boxers caused you to giggle as his cock landed on his stomach.
“No underwear huh? Naughty boy,” You teased. A sharp smack landed on your bare ass, causing you to winch in pain for a brief moment before Fred’s tongue brought you back to ecstasy.
The ginger was longer than you expected him to be. You took his shaft into your hands, bringing it into your mouth. A soft groan was muffled by your folds, encouraging you to sink your head further down onto his cock. You took as much of him as you could in your mouth, using your hand to jerk the rest of his cock.
Fred admired your determination and for a brief moment he considered switching positions, the thought of you on your knees for him mouth watering. Yet, there was something about having your pretty lips wrapped around his cock as he was buried into your pussy that pleased him more.
You tasted divine, much sweeter than any other girl he had fooled around with. He licked up your cunt, pushing his tongue inside of your hole. You were involuntarily animalistic, your hips having a mind of their own as Fred laid there in heaven.
Fred’s hips were beginning to do the same, bucking upwards. His cock hit the back of your throat, causing you to gag as saliva trailed down your chin. Fred momentarily pulled away from your dripping cunt, smirking as your juices coated his lips and chin. You took him out of your mouth, gasping for air.
“You sound so pretty when you gag on my cock. Do it again and i’ll make you cum,” Fred ordered. You tried to grind down onto Fred’s face but his strong hands kept you in place. You could feel his warm breath a mere inch away from your cunt, taunting you.
The idea of cumming on Fred Weasley’s face had never been more appealing to you.
Desperately you brought his cock back to your lips, shoving it down your throat. You forced yourself to keep his shaft in place as you gagged around him. Saliva was trailing down your chin and neck, beginning to dampen your blouse.
“Such a good listener aren’t we? What a good girl,” Fred praised, kitten licking your folds. You pulled back, inhaling deep breaths of air.
“Now be a good girl and ride my face until you make yourself cum,”
You leaned back hesitantly, gripping his chest for support as he placed his mouth back onto your cunt. It was as if he somehow had memorized your body, his tongue licking every right place. Your moans were sinful enough to wake up the entire Gryffindor house and it was a miracle no one had bothered to go into the common room.
“Freddie, I, fuck-” You groaned, a familiar knot in your stomach forming. His lips had wrapped themselves around your clit, sucking harshly at the sensitive bud as your thighs trembled around his head. His large hands kept you on his face, refusing to let you move away.
You could feel your cunt clench around nothing as your thighs began to shake, squeezing Fred’s head unintentionally. Unholy moans that were mantras of his name echoed off of the common room walls as you came. Euphoria had washed over you, your nails digging into Fred’s chest.
Fred licked and sucked at your clit until you slowly lifted off of him, your knees almost buckling as you shifted away from his face. You weakly sat beside him, your after orgasm glow apparent to the ginger in front of you. “Look at you, you’re so cute,” Fred teased, using his thumb to wipe away the remaining spit on your chin.
In a swift motion you brought your lips back to his, Fred rising to his knees. You could taste your juices on his lips as you roughly meshed your lips against his. Fred couldn’t take it anymore, pulling away to meet your gaze. He shrugged his wife beater over his head, discarding it without a second thought.
“Bend over for me, yeah?”
You turned around, bending over in front of him without a second thought. You could feel him lubricate the tip of his cock by running it up and down your folds. The sensation of it hitting your abused clit made you shiver. “You have no idea how long i’ve thought about doing this,” Fred confessed. A cool breeze hit your bare skin as Fred lifted up your skirt, exposing your ass in full to him. As he pushed inside of you his fingers gripped your waist forcefully, as if he were afraid you’d disappear.
“So full- shit,” You groaned, your eyes screwing shut as he bottomed out.
“You’re practically fucking milking my cock, merlin, you slut,” Fred groaned. Your cunt only clenched around him tighter at the sound of his degrading words, causing him to smirk.
He began picking up the pace, fucking into you slowly. Your noises only grew louder as his hips began to snap into yours faster. Fred’s thrust were merciless, his body chasing an ecstasy only you could provide.
Strings of curses mixed in with your name left Fred’s lips as he watched his cock go in and out of you. He was so deep inside of you that you almost thought you were seeing stars, your body drunk off of the feeling of his cock.
“You feel so good Freddie, so fucking- good,” You slurred, your words of encouragement only making Fred pound into you faster. His cock was abusing your g spot, causing your legs to shake as your knees dug into the carpet below you. You could feel the rug digging into your skin, making it raw which each thrust.
“I wanna fuck you everyday, make you my personal Raven,” Fred grunted. He could feel you getting closer to your final high, his hand slithering down to your swollen clit. You began to squirm as his fingers circled around your sensitive bud, unable to handle the fast circles he was drawing. “Oh- i’m gonna cum, I can’t, fuck!” You cried, your walls spasming as Fred ripped you into a state of euphoria.
Fred fucked you through your orgasm mercilessly, ravishing in the sight of you in a state of pure bliss. He was so focused on you that by the time he tried to pull out his cock it was too late, his cum painting the inner walls of your cunt. Your body was spent, slumping over onto the floor as Fred pulled out of you.
Two orgasms was all it took to get you to finally go to sleep. Fred smirked to himself as he shoved his pajama pants back on, your small sleeping body curled up into a ball in front of the fire. He grabbed your things, shoving them into a bag he knew he’d deliver to you in the afternoon when you ran into each other in defense against the dark arts.
He eyed your panties on the floor, contemplating putting them back on you. Instead a more mischievous thought came to mind, which caused him to decide to shove them in his pocket instead. He picked up your body up bridal style, carrying you upstairs to the girls dorm. Fred knocked on the door, hoping whichever gryffindor girl opened it wouldn’t be a first year.
A sleepy Hermione Granger opened the door, rubbing her eyes as her vision settled. “Y/n is still here?” She asked. Her mind was already scrambling itself on what to do, the responsibility of being a prefect weighing on her shoulders. “Yeah she finally just went to sleep, I don’t think I can deliver her to Ravenclaw tower at this hour,” Fred shrugged. Hermione stared at Fred, shirtless and hair messy. He looked like a wreck, and you didn’t look much better.
Questions were on the tip of her tongue, ones she decided could wait until the morning. Hermione knew there were a few extra beds that were designated for first years, but in emergencies they would have to do. “The spare beds are to the right, be very quiet and don’t pull anything stupid,” Hermione said sternly. Fred carried you inside of the room, ignoring the dozens upon dozens of sleeping gryffindor girls. Hermione trailed close behind him, ensuring he wasn’t up to any funny business.
“How’d you get her to go to sleep anyways? Shes practically an insomniac,”
Fred shrugged, laying you down and bringing the red colored comforter up to your shoulders.
“I’m not sure myself, guess you can call me the sandman,”

After the War, it is Just the Pain.
Warnings: mention of death, angst and etc
Tumblr media
Here you were. You stood outside in front of the school where everything took place. You were shaking as tears silently flowed down your cheeks. It hurt being back here but you had to be. For the future generation. It was a chilly day so you had a scarf wrapped around your neck and a jacket. Something that started to get you comfort. It hides the scars from the battle.
Voldemort made you his target as well as Harry. You protected your godson that whole time. You didn't even give him information about where Harry was for that year he was missing. Harry never came back to finish Hogwarts but you couldn't blame him. Hermione came back but you often caught her looking in the same state as you. You both lost your family, friends here.
She was bound to marry Fred after school was done but then Fred was murdered during the battle. You could feel yourself freezing outside but how could you move? Severus did have a painting here that he was bound to but you didn't go by often. It was hurting too much. Now you were the head of the Slytherins. You took over defenses against the dark arts fully. Now you learned more about defenses than anything when you went to Hogwarts.
The other night you found some sleeping draught potions that Severus had made so you started to take them so you could sleep. Something that was needed. You didn't want to ask the former and now professor of potions again to make you some. It felt wrong.
You haven't told anyone yet how you were bringing everyone's ghosts back to be in the school. You wanted Lily, James, and the other boys to be there for when Harry's generation's kids come here. You spent night after night slowly doing it. You just wanted to hug your friends and tell them you were sorry.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and turned your head to see McGonagall. You used your jacket sleeve to wipe the tears away. "Hello Minnie" you crocked.
'Hello dear, I figured you needed someone." She said kindly. She had become headmistress of Hogwarts and a mother to everyone here including you. You didn't know how she watched each war and all the students who were hurt or killed.
"Does it ever get better?" you asked her shakily and took a deep throat. The cold air nipped your face.
"Slowly but not completely." She replied honestly. You were one of her students and enough came to her especially after the death eaters started to rise and Regulus's death. She pulled you into a side hug knocking you out of your thoughts.
A year after that day when she comforted you you finished it. Everyone was a ghost here. It felt amazing to have your friends back. The Weasleys, Narcissa, and Potters often stopped by to talk to their friends. They were always welcomed.
A few years passed and soon the kids started to arrive. You greeted them like every year now. The Slytherins loved you as you were completely different to have people say Slytherins are supposed to be. You slowly started to talk about Severus's painting. You told stories in your class about what happened and it gave relief. Your friends helped you as well including Remus who loved watching the kids learn defenses.
Something still bothered you, you were still the last living and without your husband who was only a painting now. He guarded the Slytherin house. It still wasn't enough. You waited for the moment you would join your friends here and you could dance with him in the painting as your magic is strong enough to pass through.

Don't Trust A Malfoy (Pt. 4 Final Part)
Fandom: Take a guess (Harry Potter)
Pairing: Fred Weasley x Malfoy!Reader
Warnings: they/them pronouns, trauma, bad parenting, (your probably used to both if you're reading this) ( that was a joke don't take offense), events are taken out of order from the story, shitty writing. Some People Live (Lemme know if I missed anything)
------------------------------------------
*Y/n's POV*
"Holly shit! Y/N!" I hear Fred yell, right before everything goes black, I feel Draco holding me up and everything is gone
****
As I start to regain my consciousness, I can feel a hand in mine
"Have you been here this whole time?" I let out with a dry throat
"Huh- Y/n! MUM! THEY'RE AWAKE!" he raised his head with a smile and a tear running down his face, he shouts through the building
"Hey, stop yelling" I say with my hand on my head "Where is Draco?"
"In his new room, he's explained the situation, even shook hands with the lil' heroic trio, I'm glad you're out of there love" he says seriously, the pet name bringing a blush to my face, suddenly the door is opened and everyone rushed in
"Oh dear, I'm Glad you're okay"
"Y/N!" Draco runs over and hugs me as tight as he can
"Ow" I let out, feeling slight pain still in my muscles
"Sorry! Sorry! Are you okay?" he asks quite worriedly
"I'm just glad we got out, and I'm glad I still have you" I plant a small kiss on the top of his head
"Me too!" he said with a small smile, I see out of the corner of my eye Sirius with a small smile, I know whats running through his head, he wished Regulus was still with us, as do I, one of my favorite Uncles that one, I trade my look to Fred who was looking at me already, like I held up the world, like nothing would matter, so long as I was okay
"I like your eyes" I didn't even know I said it out loud until George piped up
"Ae! We have the same eyes! So what about mine!" Ginny elbow's him in the side, I look at his eyes, but they're more dusty
"Nah, he has brighter eyes" I point at Fred
--later that day--
I had found Sirius sitting at a chair in the main room, all by himself, he'd been going through old pictures
"He didn't blame you, y'know" he snaps his head to me "He looked up to you actually, when he had time he would come around" I walked around the sofa and sat down "He would always talk about the grand adventures you had with your friends... He said he hoped I could have that someday" I can feel the tears welling in my eyes, and see his "Uncle Reggie, he said he was proud to have a brother like you, he would talk you up and I couldn't wait to meet you! Talked about how he knew one day you would fight and defeat Voldemort with the people you loved" I could see the tears streaking down his face as he looked at me in shock "He didn't blame you for leaving" I said confidently, I got up to leave him with his thoughts when all of a sudden I got pulled back by my wrist into a hug I froze, I hugged him back but it was weird, I had only ever hugged my friends, not a father figure
"I will do my absolute best to be the best possible Uncle or whatever you'd like to call me, to you AND Draco both. Thank you for saying that." I hugged him as tight as possible and didn't want to let go
--That night--
I sat on the balcony watching the stars as thoughts of Fred flood my head
"Bit cold, innit?" I hear Fred's voice
"slightly" at that second I feel a jacket wrapped around me "oh- thank you, what about you?"
"Oh- I'll be fine" he nearly stutters out "What you doing out here anyway?"
"Just thinking"
"about?"
"You. Me. Us." I let out anxiously
"Us... that's a frightening topic"
"trust me I know" I wrap his jacket around me tighter
"So, what are you thinking about us?" he asks curiously
"I think I like you... a lot.." I turn to see his sly smile
"I know I like you... a lot" his smirk gets wider
"When did you know?" his smile then gets bashful
"Uh- heh- probably about forth year... right after we pranked you, you had pranked us right back, and- well I fell for you" he suddenly found the stars interesting as well
"Oh?"
"yeh, probably fell in love with you in 6th year, when you told Umbrige to 'Go piss up a rope, Voldy Moldy is back" I look at him with wide eyes
"You're in love with me?"
"I hope that's okay?" he asked worriedly, I quickly put my back against the chair
"I think it is" I let out in a whisper, somehow he heard it and smiled brightly, he takes my hand, and I pull him forward, touching my lips to his, confirming all my suspicions...
I truly do love him
All of a sudden I heard Ron
"MAYBE LOCK IT NEXT TIME DRACO"
"BLEACH, I NEED BLEACH, MY POOR EYES"
"Totally called it, you owe me 2 galleons." I say to Fred, he sighed as he handed me the money
--------
2 minutes ago:
*Ron's POV*
I needed to talk to Harry, Draco had apologized, but its quite difficult to just up and drop blind hatred
"Oh fuck" I hear Harry's voice, I thought he might have dropped something because I could hear him getting off his bed.. so I walked in
"AAHHHHHHHH, MY EYES" I slapped my hand over my eyes and heard Draco
"Maybe knock next time, Ron" he said sounding almost sorry for me, I ran out of the room screaming back after closing the door
"MAYBE LOCK IT NEXT TIME DRACO"

You Make Me A Complete Mess ~ An Apology - Chapter 1.
Summary: Sage had grown up with the Malfoy family but felt like she was different from them, a feeling that intensified when she grew closer to Snape during her time at Hogwarts and when he helped her through the dark times of Voldemort’s return. At the end of her 5th year her world would entirely change forever when fate would bring her to Fred and George Weasley, and she would find herself unexpectedly falling for Fred. As the years wore on and the darker the world got Sage finds out who her true family are with some twists and turns she’d very much like to forget, after the battle of Hogwarts she stayed clear of the Weasley family although it pained her to do so but 10 years later when she was working as professor of the defence against the dark arts at Hogwarts she meets George once again, is this her second chance?
Character Pairing: Fred Weasley/ OC (Sage Malfoy)

Sage stood in front of a wonky, unsteady looking home. Why was she doing this again? The Weasleys would probably take one look at her in the thresh hold of their home and slam the door right in her face. She wouldn’t have blame them either, she was after all a Malfoy.
A Malfoy that had broken their sons arm, unintentionally of course!
Before she could guilt herself any further Molly Weasley had opened the door and greeted her with the warmest smile, one that seemed to fade as realisation began to set in just who was standing in front of her. “Mrs. Weasley I’m-“
Before she could finish a man, who she assumed was Arthur Weasley had appeared from behind his wife and now stood stern with his hands on his hip in the doorway. “Why is there a Malfoy at my door?”
Taken aback Sage just stood there, mouth open and squinting at the scene in front of her. The speech she had prepared in her mind on the train home had evaporated now that she was actually standing in the presence of Fred’s family.
"I came here to apologise." Sage tried to sound as sincere as possible, not that she was lying but she had no idea how the hell all this was going to go down for her, it was uncharted territory.
Both apologising and talking to a Weasley, let alone a whole family of them.
"Suppose you better come in then." To say Sage was shocked was an understatement, she had been fully prepared to put her head back down in shame and walk away. But as soon as Arthur Weasley spoke the words into existence and quite cheerfully her head snapped up in part amusement and part confusion.
As soon as she stepped in to the kitchen she felt a warm comforting feeling spread out across her whole body. “FRED YOU HAVE A VISITOR!” Molly shouted up the many sets of stairs. She then turned, smiling the whole time at Sage as she made her way over to the kettle on the stove. “Would you like a drink dear?”
“Oh- .” Just as she was about to reply they all heard a scurry of heavy foot steps, every creak in the wood seeming like the above levels would disintegrate and collapse at any given moment. But fortunately it never did, it wasn’t just Fred that appeared though. To be quite fair she wasn’t at all surprised to see George trailing right behind his twin, but what she didn’t expect was to see Ron, Harry, Hermione and Ginny scurry down the stairs right behind them. Everyone’s hair had gotten longer, and she couldn’t help but notice how much it suited them all, especially the twins.
That thought was broken when George had the nerve to whisper to her ‘this is going to be interesting.’ As he passed close by her to follow the rest of the gang into the kitchen to join their parents.
She just scrawled at the back of his head, refusing for a second to turn back to the person she was actually here for. But when she did he was calmly leaning again the beam at the bottom of the stairs.
When did he get so handsome? She had to stop herself before her thoughts went further, she was here with a purpose.
“Look I just wanted to say I’m sorry I can’t really explain what happened, not yet anyway but I never meant for you to get hurt.” Sage heard a snigger from behind her, turning slowly she found the whole Weasley family plus Harry and Hermione quickly busy themselves with any task in reach, but she knew that they had been hanging on her every word. One person however didn’t even try to hide how much he was enjoying the show, if looks could kill George would be dead on the spot.
Turning back to Fred she caught the remnants of a goofy smile before he quickly hid it from her. Why was she here again? She was a Malfoy for crying out loud! She didn’t need to apologise to anyone.
“You know what, whatever! I didn’t have to come here and apologise.” She started to make her way back to the door, everyone standing there in shock at her sudden outburst. She turned one last time to see that Fred had actually followed her to the door.
She got in his face, closer this time and pointed her finger at him. “You know what, I’m glad your broke your arm! You deserve some karma for all the pranks you pull.” She had to fight the urge to prod his chest with her pointer finger. She looked over at George one last time something she instantly regretted as he was smiling bigger than a Cheshire cat. “Be careful George, you might be next.”
Fred just scoffed, making her turn her attention back to him. “Is that a threat Malfoy?” She turned back to him, chuckling as she stated. “No Fred, it’s a promise.” With one last look around the room. "Molly thank you for the offer for tea, you truly are a lovely lady so sad that your sons are a pair of Twats" She simply stormed out after saying her peace.
Fred watched with a smirk, as she walked further into the long, swamp grass before finally disappearing.
“Professor Snape, professor are you okay?” She looked up to find one of her students holding her work book out to her.
“Fine Lottie, I’m assuming you’re up here because you’ve finished.” She took the text book off her hands and put in on top of the pile on the left of her desk where at least 5 books sat ready for her to mark tonight. How exciting.
Just as Lottie was about to reply the bell went and Sage dismissed all the students, walking to the door of the classroom to see everyone out. Once everyone had departed Sage made her way back to her desk, sighing as she remembered what she was thinking about before being interrupted.
She had met Fred and George in her first year at Hogwarts, they were all in the same year but they had never really crossed paths until the end of their 5th year when she’d let Draco convince her to pull a prank back on them which resulted in Fred breaking his arm. She’d felt so bad that she had decided to go to the burrow and apologise which you can see didn’t turn out so well but which later she would be glad she went as this is when their friendship would start to grow and her feelings for the mischievous red head would manifest as much as she tried to fight them and that wasn't even the best part, for she would also find a best friend in George.
She hadn’t seen them in over Ten years now though, after everything that happened in and around the battle of Hogwart’s she knew the twins and their family still hated her, which in turn crushed her because she loved them dearly and aside from Severus, Narcissa and Draco, the Weasley family had been the only other people to love her like one of their own and yet she let them down.
But everything she had done, all the bad and all the good was a way to protect them.

Okay so I want to finally write this very complex Weasley twins/George Wealsey fanfiction that's been spooking around my head ever since vampires where a thing.
But
I will have to reread the books in order to make my perfectionist brain happy (I don't want to miss anything or get something wrong) so it will be a lot of work. Slow updates and probably take years.
I barely ever write anything because my motivation is low but I've liked this idea for such a long time I really want to see it done.
So would anyone be interested in reading George Wealsey and vampire!oc very slow burn friends to lovers? Also the Weasley twins part will take a while (very slow burn) because I gave her too much background story that I'd like to share.
