EDIT: ao3 link here :3
i hope this is alright ! merry new years day 🎉🎉🎉
never the same (and never different)
“Come on, Drew. I'm not asking for much!” Milly said, standing in the doorframe to his room.
“Do it yourself,” Drew spat bitterly, rolling back into the blankets he's been curled up in for ages.
Milly sighed in annoyance. "Is it really so difficult to just help for once?"
Drew didn't even take the effort to respond, simply facing away from Milly, waiting for her to leave.
Their parents had called this morning from their trip to tell them to make some space in the attic today. Since they'd be coming home soon, they had a bunch of things they were bringing and no more room in the rest of their house to put it, and that left the attic as their best option. Suffering through another lecture over the phone didn't seem pleasant, so Milly reluctantly agreed.
Unfortunately for Milly, she had been blessed with the most stubborn brother ever.
She really thought that this time she could convince him to get up and help, but as all her feeble attempts were, it didn't work. Giving up completely, Milly rolled her eyes.
“...Drama queen...” Milly said quietly, taking the hint and exiting the room.
---------------------------------------------------
It had now been a couple hours since their parents had called. Safe to say, Milly had been putting it off for more than awhile. She knew everything that "mysteriously disappeared" in their household for the past decade was most likely up in their attic, and wanted to put off cleaning that nightmare for as long as physically possible.
But it was now late in the afternoon, and the responsibility nagged at her in the back of her head even if she tried to ignore it.
So, yanking herself out of her bed and grabbing a flashlight, she mentally prepared herself as she walked to reach their attic.
The hatch was at the end of one of their longer hallways, positioned so that pulling down the ladder wouldn't cut off access to any doors near it. Pulling down the hatch, Milly climbed up the wooden ladder and up into their attic.
...
"God... damnit—" Milly grumbled, struggling to even navigate with the amount of useless junk surrounding the attic.
She nearly coughed a lung out just by entering, having to wave endless dust out of her sight of vision.
It was just as she had expected.
Dozens—hell, maybe even hundreds—of cardboard boxes were stacked up upon each other, crammed in every corner, every space, even covering up the one small window they had in the attic. The insulation was ripped out, some of the floorboards were ripped out, and it seemed like the thin wooden support beams were probably only held up by dreams. It was dark in the attic, there was only a single light near in the corner. Milly immediately turned on her flashlight, it blinking a few times before shining a solid beam of light.
The rest of their household was perfectly polished and neat down to the finest details, but it seems their parents had put off taking care of the attic for a long time. She couldn't blame them for that, she didn't want to deal with this either. So for the longest time, it went out of sight, out of mind.
But it couldn't stay like that forever.
Her parents told her to take what she wanted out of the attic and get rid of the rest. She didn't want to open all of the boxes, but she felt as though there had to be at least at couple things she could give to her friends or keep for herself.
Ripping out the tape on the first cardboard box she found, Milly opened it up and shone her flashlight to see what it contained.
...Bummer.
The box in question had a bunch of spare mechanical parts of which she had no use for. Her parents wouldn't have a use for them, either, because if they needed parts they would always just buy new. She kicked the box off to the side, making a group of distinguish which boxes she did open and which parts she didn't.
After an hour or two, Milly hadn't bothered to open many of the boxes. She opened the first dozen or so, but she was getting tired of finding random broken things no one had any use for. Aside from a few ties she could give to Zander, a few nice hair clips for Hailey, surprisingly new notebook for Luke to write songs in, there really wasn't much.
She had been transporting most of the boxes out of the attic and into her room, which was getting cramped easily. Her parents said they'd just throw it all out or donate it once they got home, so Milly put most of them in trash bags for easy transport. This cycle went on for what felt like ages, and Milly felt like she was getting tired as she climbed back up into the attic again.
Just as she was about to kick one of the boxes into the group near the ladder, she noticed the "fragile" sticker imprinted on the side of it. It probably wasn't too important, she figured, but she didn't want to get in trouble if it was some kind of million dollar antique she ended up dropkicking. Milly kneeled down and opened up the box to see what was so fragile about it.
She shone the flashlight into the box and pulled out a singular picture frame. It was small, in a wooden rustic frame, and by the looks of it pretty old. Letting out a breath, most of the dust piled off the photo, and Milly swatted away the excess off the glass. She was quite curious to see what the picture was. The light of the flashlight went from the box over onto the newly found picture.
Oh.
Oh no.
The memory captured was one of hers.
Buried so deep in her mind she almost forgot a time it was real.
What was captured in the photo was the Christmas of 2015, back when she was 10 years old and Drew was 11. Her hair was longer at the time, in a ponytail, and much less vibrant as she hadn't been able to dye it yet. Drew's hair was brown and shorter, as he also was under the rule of no hair dye.
Milly had been sitting next to the Christmas tree, her eyes were wide with shock and excitement as the wrapping paper of her present was thrown off to the side. She held in her hands what is now her most prized possession in the entire world.
Her electric guitar.
At the time, she had to hold up the guitar with both hands. It was dark red with black accents and came with a hot pink guitar pick.
Her smile in the photo shined brighter than ever, like a shining star against a dark night.
And off to the side, sitting next to her, smiling with her, was Drew.
Drew was excited alongside her, his excitement nearly matching hers.
Milly, looking down at the old and outdated photo, knew why.
Drew was the one who had picked it out for her originally.
All year long, he had to listen to her endlessly babble on and on about how much she wanted to learn guitar, blasting guitar heavy songs on the speaker in her room loud enough for the whole house to hear, even learning sheet music before she had the guitar.
Their parents were mainly going off the Christmas lists the both of them made, but that year, the two of them were allowed an allowance to get gifts for each other.
And Drew's mind immediately darted to the most expensive guitar he could find.
She appreciated it at the time. She appreciated it today.
But...
Comparing the boy in picture to the boy she knew now felt nearly impossible.
It was almost like he was a different person.
The Drew she grew up with seemed to have withered a long time ago. For the life of her, Milly just couldn't pinpoint when.
Was it in the sixth grade, when he decided to start befriending a bunch of assholes?
Was it in freshmen year, when Milly joined the music club? Did she set herself up to fail then?
Was it this year? When his friendship collapsed around him?
Or did she never know who Drew was at all?
…No, that couldn't be right.
Milly held the framed photo in her hand for a few moments, not strong enough to gather the courage to put it down. It was held firmly in her hands, trying to hold onto the memory as if it was trapped inside the frame.
She sat it down shakily onto the wooden floor, looking back into the box she had just unsealed, and the memories coming with it.
She did not have the motivation to continue.
...cleaning the attic.
Milly did not have the motivation to continue cleaning the attic.
Sitting on her bed and staring at the wall of her now cramped room, Milly tried to push the dwelling misery out of her head.
But it wouldn't leave.
It was stuck with her, stuck with her mind, stuck with her forever.
Her own brother was someone she didn't even recognize.
Milly laid down on her bed and stared at the ceiling.
Who was he anymore?
Walking past Milly's room, Drew slightly cracked open the door.
He seemed to be in a bit of better mood than before, but he still looked completely miserable. Milly didn't have the hate to even blame him, he lost his best friend and girlfriend in the span of a week.
But she didn't have the will to forgive him, either.
"Did you finish cleaning out the attic already?" Drew asked, trying to make dull conversation.
Milly stilled.
"No. I mean, I started, I'm just..."
Milly looked down at the photo she held her hands.
"...I just got too tired. To finish up," she said dejectedly. She technically wasn't lying, but she really didn't want to spill the real reason why.
Drew silently nodded.
"I'll clean the rest, I guess."
Drew slowly closed the door, leaving Milly all alone in her pity.
Her conversations with Drew were barely conversations anymore. They only spoke a few words a day to one another that weren't hostile. The old Drew, the one she knew, she would talk to and annoy about whatever whenever.
But that wasn't real anymore.
Opening the bottom drawer to her nightstand table, Milly set down the framed photo and pushed it to the back of the drawer.
It would never be seen again, she would never be forced to look at it again, she would never be forced to look at what could've been ever again.
It would be forgotten like it deserved.

Here’s my secret Santa <3 I went with the genderbent Henriam request!!!
Names to not cause confusion:
Henry = Henrietta
Liam = Liana
Drew = Destiny
Jake = Jade
Milly = Mason
Sean = Seanna
Henrietta and Liana had been (secretly) dating for around a month now, so it only made sense to go on a date, right?
Until everyone happened to be at the mall that day.
All had been fine when they first arrived, and the two happily walked hand in hand to different stores, mainly window shopping. Eventually they found themselves in a jewelry store. “Ooo I like this one!” Henrietta chirped, pointing to a gold necklace with a heart adorning the end of it.
Liana looked over curiously, nodding. “Yeah but that’s like… really expensive.” She frowned. Henrietta gave Liana the biggest puppy dog eyes imaginable, silently begging. Liana sighed, glancing back to the necklace for a moment. “Destiny’s the rich one, not me.”
As if summoned by her name, Destiny appeared. “Why are you guys here? And why’d I hear my name?” She asked in an unimpressed tone, causing both girls to jump in surprise. Henrietta bumped into a case of jewelry when she did, almost knocking it over. She fixed it quickly, laughing nervously when she noticed the store clerks glare.
“Oh uhh..hey Destiny..” Liana nervously greeted her, looking anywhere but the other girls eyes. Liana and Henrietta didn’t notice their hands were still intertwined until Destiny looked down before raising an eyebrow. The two quickly separated, faces turning bright red. “Uhm.. What are you doing here?” Henrietta asked a lot louder than necessary, earning yet another glare from the clerk.
Destiny gave an annoyed sigh, “I was getting a gift for Jade, but I might as well go to another store. I don’t want to see you two being lovey dovey.” Both girls quickly began rambling over each other, desperately trying to prove their innocence. Destiny simply walked out of the store, clearly not in the mood to deal with the duo. They were left dumbfounded, how had Destiny realized they were together so easily?
After that, the two decided to check out the food court. After all, there was no chance they’d run into someone else they knew, right?
The two had settled at a table, deciding pizza was a good option for their meal. “After we finish we should get some pretzels.” Liana commented as she took a bite out of her pizza. Henrietta nodded enthusiastically, “They should make lettuce-wrapped pretzels..” She murmured. Liana rolled her eyes, “Why the hell would they do that? That doesn’t sound appetizing at all.” Henrietta glared, though there was no real malice behind it, and softly kicked Liana under the table. “I think it sounds awesome.”
“If you say so.” Liana sighed, a small smile forming on her face. There was a comfortable silence while the two ate. Well, only for a moment. Henrietta filled it by rambling about nothing in particular, which Liana listened to without complaint. She looked up and noticed pizza sauce had gotten on the corner of Henrietta’s mouth, though she didn’t seem to notice.
She reached over and gently held the shorter girls chin, catching her offguard. “You’re so messy.” Liana giggled, wiping the sauce off of Henrietta’s face. “Am not.” Henrietta countered, rolling her eyes. Liana continued to hold Henrietta’s chin for a moment, noticing the faint blush that formed on her cheeks. She was just about to lean in closer when she heard an all too familiar voice yell in shock.
“ARE YOU TWO GONNA KISS?!”
It was Mason, hurrying over to them with wide eyes, Seanna trailing behind him with a sigh.
They both jolted in their seats, moving away from each other in an instant. “No! Why is everyone at the mall today..” Liana muttered the last part, Henrietta groaned with annoyance. “You were totally about to kiss..are you two on a date?” Mason said loudly, an impish grin on his face. Both girls knew for a face he’d never let this go. Seanna laughed from beside him, her curious gaze looking between the two. “I knew you two were together. You have been since we met you, right?”
In sync, the two jumped up. “NO?! AND WE AREN’T TOGETHER?”
Mason and Seanna gave them a pointed look. “Sure you aren’t..” Mason said slowly, before reaching to grab an untouched slice of pizza from the girls plate. “Dude I was gonna eat that!” Henrietta whined, Mason just shrugged before he and Seanna walked off.
Henrietta and Liana watched them leave, utterly baffled. “Are we that obvious?” Liana mumbled. “And did they really think we’ve been together that long?” Henrietta added, face in her hands.
The two somehow managed to get through the rest of their date without running into another one of the friends. They walked out of the mall with a singular bag, despite going through so many stores they only bought anything from one.
As they walked, since they hadn’t driven there, Liana noticed Henrietta shivering. Without a word the girl stopped walking. Henrietta came to a stop too, looking at Liana with confusion. The taller held out the bag, “Here, hold this a second.” Henrietta seemed confused, but complied without questions.
Liana slipped her jacket off with ease before handing it to Henrietta, “Here, you’re shivering.” She said before taking the bag back from her girlfriend. Blush rose to Henrietta’s cheeks as she put the jacket on. “..Thanks.”
Liana didn’t get a chance to respond, because yet another familiar face appeared in front of him. Jade looked at the two with a wide grin on her face, her little sister, Mia, standing beside her annoyedly. “Aw, that’s cute.” Jade teased.
Both girls desperately tried to defend themselves, Jade wasn’t convinced. “I guess your date went well?” Lianas face reddened, “How’d you even know— Wait, We weren’t on a date!” She cried. “Yeah I dont believe that.” Jade snickered.
“Thats so gay” Mia grumbled, who Henrietta and Liana had almost forgotten was there. Jade gave her a blank stare, “No really?” She replied, sarcasm etched in her tone.
Henrietta and Liana gave each other a defeated look, maybe they were more obvious than they thought..

The Christmas Spirit™️
Gift for @bluexjayy for Freakblr Secret Santa 2024!! ( @everything-freakblr ) (I ALMOST MISSED THE DEADLINE THANK GOD)
Word Count: 2,277 (I think?? Not sure actually)
A/N: I wish I could've written something better and more christmas-y but this is all I got in me sorry Jay :( [ill upload this to ao3 soon after I post this hopefully]
To say Drew wasn't a fan of Christmas would be an understatement.
Drew hated Christmas.
He didn't understand what was so fucking great and important about it.
It was just a holiday like any other, but people are so goddamn annoying about it- like Halloween, but worse.
‘The Christmas Spirit’ meant absolutely fucking nothing to him; in fact, he didn't even understand what that meant. Every Christmas movie or story revolved around it, there's always some message or another about the “true meaning of Christmas” and “the importance of family and friends” and whatnot, and it all sounded like bullshit to him.
Maybe it was because of his upbringing.
With his parents’ ever-growing company, he grew up knowing what the real meaning of Christmas was.
Christmas meant money.
Christmas meant shitty, overpriced, Christmas-themed products that will be bought by thousands of foolish idiots who wanted to see Santa Claus’ face on everything.
Christmas meant uncomfortable, long and draining photoshoots with his parents for publicity.
Christmas meant meaningless apologies from his parents for not being there on Christmas Eve while they go out on their fancy corporate dinners they've stopped taking him to, and a mountain of impersonal, generic gifts.
So, yeah, Christmas sucked, and Drew had no idea why people were so fucking obsessed with it.
Every year, Drew would simply spend Christmas Eve playing video games or watching actually good, not-holiday-themed movies ‘till he went to sleep- like any other normal day.
That was what he was planning to do this year, too.
That was, of course, until his stupid friends decided to ruin things.
It all started when he heard the doorbell.
He, foolishly, assumed it was the pizza delivery guy (he'd, unfortunately, ordered it from Stacy's Mamma Mia Pizza, the only pizza place open on December 24th, much to Drew's dismay).
He opened the door without looking at the person behind, fishing through his wallet for a tip.
Huge mistake- because he was immediately tackled by Henry, who decided it would be a good idea to launch himself at Drew in a surprise hug.
Merry Christmas, Drew!” he exclaimed in a singsong voice, tightening his arms around his chest.
Drew sputtered, struggling to come up with a response when his only line of thought was what the fuck what the hell what in the fucking music fre-
“Hey, Drew,” Liam greeted, pushing the door closed behind him.
“Wassup?” Jake chirped picking up his wallet off the floor and placing it on the side table.
Henry let go of his grip on Drew, and went to take his shoes off by the door.
“What the fuck are you guys doing here?!” Drew finally said.
“Eh, well, we were kinda bored and decided to come over, y’know? To keep you company?” Jake shrugged, “It was Henry's idea.”
"Yeah, man! You always spend Christmas holed up alone all depressed and shit like you're the Grinch or something, so I thought we could cheer you up!” the boy in question added.
“Is that really it? Or did you guys just want to use my heater?” he eyed their snow-covered coats and cold-flushed faces- becoming increasingly (and embarrassingly) aware of his own fuzzy pajamas.
“That-” Henry raised a finger, “-is simply an added bonus. Our intentions are pure and innocent, honest to Rosy.”
“Uh-huh, sure,”
“C'mon, dude, I swear I'm not kidding! We just-”
Liam nudged him slightly, causing him to look up at him in confusion. A short, silent conversation passed between them before clarity dawned on Henry's face.
“Oh, yeah, I almost forgot,” he started digging through the backpack he was wearing, pulling out a small gift bag, “Here you go, Drew!”
He eyed the bag skeptically before taking it, looking through the contents.
Was that-
“Wait, you guys got me a watch?”
Henry's cheeks reddened, “Well, uh, we weren't really sure what else to get you-”
“And we saw you staring at it at the mall a few weeks ago, so it was kinda a no-brainer,” Liam rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, “So, yeah,”
Drew gawked at the gift bag in his hands, handling it much more delicately than before, “Uh….thanks,”
Fuck. He was grateful, he really was, but he was shocked they'd even thought of him- he was the one usually getting them stuff.
And this definitely wasn't cheap, even if it wasn't some big name brand, they had to have saved up quite a bit for this. Shit shit shit-
Suddenly Drew felt shame wash over him- he still hadn't gotten them anything, he'd assumed he still had another day to get them their gifts but…shit.
“I, er, your gifts haven't been delivered yet,” he lied, hopefully sounding convincing enough, “They'll probably arrive by tomorrow- hopefully.”
He'd probably have to throw in a bit more of his personal allowance for that to happen, but he'll make it work (even if he felt the slightest bit of guilt at the idea of some underpaid delivery guy rushing to get him his order on Christmas Day).
“Aww, Drew! I knew you loved us!” Henry put his hands on his own cheeks and mockingly gushed- Drew felt his ears burning up a bit.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he rolled his eyes and set the bag on the side table next to him, mentally adding a reminder to himself to take it up to his room later.
Jake sighed, “Would it kill you to smile?”
Drew glared at him. He glared back.
Liam, thank Rosy, intercepted the staring match he'd inadvertently started, “Anyhow, I was thinking maybe we could make some hot chocolate or something? I mean, I doubt you'd prefer eggn-”
“Absolutely not!” Drew snapped, recalling the infamous Eggnog Incident of 2016, that ended with him banning Liam and Henry from coming over to his place for almost two consecutive years.
A look of confusion briefly flashed upon Jake's face, but he didn't comment. Of course he was confused, he wasn't there when Henry decided it’d be a good idea t-
“Yeah, so we got this!” Henry pulled out a packet of some cheap-looking cocoa powder from his bag.
“And you're expecting me to make that for you guys?” he raised an eyebrow. It didn't look even like it was one of those instant type thingies! Did they want to burn his kitchen down?
“Nope,” Liam said, taking the packet from Henry, “I am.”
“No, you're not,”
“Yes, I am,” he pushed past him, heading towards the kitchen anyways.
Drew sputtered for a moment, absolutely flabbergasted at the sheer fucking audacity before jogging up behind Liam to stop him.
-☆-
He did not, in fact, stop him.
Instead, Liam had gotten out a saucepan, a bag of sugar and set down their specific mugs with cartoon animal faces printed on them: a rabbit one for Henry, a bat for Liam, a brown bear for himself and a golden retriever for Jake.
He'd gotten the first three back in middle school, but the last one he'd gotten during last year when he first met Jake (and he'd gone through extreme lengths to make it match with his and the others).
Had it really only been a year?
It felt way longer than that.
Liam opened the packet and pouring some of it into a tablespoon.
“Ugh, why do we have to use this cheap shit again?” Drew rolled his eyes as Liam carefully measured out how much cocoa powder and sugar he should add to the pan, “You guys know I have higher quality stuff than whatever tasteless brand this is.”
Liam paid him no attention, and Jake frowned.
Okay, maybe he was being a little bit too mean, but he wasn't wrong. He could understand if they drank this stuff at their homes, but they were at his house, they should get to taste actually good stuff.
Henry crossed his arms and rolled his eyes in turn, imitating Drew, “You mean that thing that tasted like cardboard and artificial sweetener?”
“And had that really weird aftertaste?” Jake added.
“And also made us all sick afterwards because the packet was apparently five years old?” Liam randomly decided to comment whilst pouring milk into the saucepan.
Drew felt his cheeks redden, “It's not my fucking fault it expired! And it tastes better with age!”
Jake sighed, “It's not wine, Drew.”
“Dude, five years is like,” Henry paused to count on his fingers, “A third of my life! You should've thrown it out ages ago!”
He simply glared at him in response, arms still crossed over his chest.
Clearly he wasn't going to win this argument, even though he was right, since they were all against him, apparently.
Drew huffed, “Whatever.”
He rolled his eyes again, then decided to stare at the mixture on the stove.
“Why do you even make it like that?” he asked Liam, eyeing him as he stirred the drink in the pan, “Can't you just- I don't know- add the milk and the powder and stuff to each mug indvidually like a normal person?”
Liam simply shrugged, eyes fixed on what he was doing, “It's just how my mom does it, and it somewhat tastes better this way.”
“You're fucking weird,”
“Thanks, man,”
After that there weren't many words exchanged between them, Jake and Henry were chatting about some new episode of an anime they both followed (which, usually, he would've joined the discussion- mostly to mock them -but he wasn't sure he had energy for that), and Liam was almost done with his weird hot chocolate invention thing.
Drew pulled out his phone from his pocket, checking his food delivery app to track where his pizza went.
It was…yeah, okay, it was definitely not arriving anytime soon with the traffic jam on Christmas Eve and the fact that it was still on the opposite side of town. Just great. Fantastic. Truly amazing.
Drew hears the bubbling of the hot chocolate concoction and looks up as Liam starts carefully pouring out their portions, then going to add two extra spoons of sugar into Henry's rabbit mug.
Of course.
Henry pulled out two large bags from his backpack, grin wide on his face, “Who wants marshmallows?!”
“Oh, me!”
“Yeah, sure,”
Drew simply grunted in response.
Henry popped open a bag, and grabbed a handful of white and pink marshmallows, dumping them into his mug.
Drew had to physically stop himself from gagging.
His ability to consume that much sugar was both fascinating and utterly disgusting.
Jake took three for himself, Liam two. Henry waved the bag in front of him in offering, but Drew brushed him off, the sight of them alone making him sick after that display.
Later, when he'd see them all happily chewing on their own marshmallows he'd regret his dramatics, but he was too stubborn to ask for some.
By the time they'd decided what to do next, the others had finished their drinks already.
It took a few minutes of back and forth, still, the others had miraculously convinced (forced) Drew to watch some cheesy holiday film with them- Jake citing that ‘he hasn't truly lived till he'd seen a shitty Hallmark romance’ or something like that.
And that's how he ended up stuck on the couch, in between his friends, the blanket he'd been previously using draped over their shoulders uselessly.
Jake had instantly picked up the remote and flipped to some website or another and turned on some holiday flick or another for them to watch- he wasn't exactly paying attention, they all looked the same to him.
His friends were oddly invested in whatever it was, though, yelling at the main leads for simply existing and sympathising with the main character's ex boyfriend for whatever reason.
They were so fucking weird, Drew confirmed in his head once more.
But…as he sat there, sandwiched between Jake and Henry sipping his hot chocolate, Drew couldn't help the warmth that snaked its way into his chest.
Whether it was because of the drink or some strange, unfounded burst of affection, Drew did not care enough to discern the difference.
He was with his friends, on the coldest and loneliest night of the year, and they'd chosen to stay with him, he didn't have to persuade them with gifts or money, didn't have to dangle the promise of popularity in front of them, because they cared about him and just wanted hang out and watch a low-budget dumpsterfire with him.
Drew wiped away a stray tear with his shirt sleeve before the others could notice.
Ugh, when did he get so soft?
A small smile played on his lips as he saw them all transfixed on the movie playing on screen, still invested in the strange, Christmas-themed romance unfolding.
Drew took a final sip from his mug, setting it down on the coffee table and leaning back, deciding he should give the movie a shot.
Henry, unprompted, leaned back as well, resting his head on Drew's shoulder, wrapping an arm around him and then nuzzling into his chest. Jake soon followed, then Liam did too, wrapping his arms around Henry.
Drew bit down on his lip, stopping his gut reaction of telling them all to get the fuck off him and take their cuddle pile somewhere else, because, as much as he hated to admit it, he kind of liked it.
Their presence was warm, comforting, and only Luni knew how much Drew desperately needed something to help him during the blistering cold of late December (since his heater wasn't enough, apparently).
So, begrudgingly, he let them be while they continued watching the film.
Drew internally sighed.
Maybe Christmas wasn't all bad.

@everything-freakblr
I was originally going to finish this in time to post on the 25th but oh well, I'm glad I took my time to touch up the linework. Here is the drawing I made for my secret santa recipient, @sweetzscore. They didn't have anything too specfic that they wanted, so I went ahead and drew Hailey as a magical girl.
I hope you like it, even if she isn't in your top favourite characters 😭 I think I made a pretty design at least.

The sign ups for Secret Santa have officially closed!
You will be receiving an email or DM, with your assigned person and their preferred gifts from November 26th-30th, and once you get it you can begin working! You have until January 1st so don’t rush yourself too much <3
If you have any questions you can send in an ask, send an email, or just DM me here on tumblr!
Please remember to NOT let someone know you’re making their gift until you post it, that ruins the fun!
