Gestern war ich wieder an dieser Stelle. Dieser Blick ist weg. Die Erdhuppel hinter den Gleisen waren Vorboten. Kräne stehen jetzt da. Hohe Betonstelen sind bereit, Mauern einzufassen. Immerhin konnte ich ein paar Jahre hier stehen und gucken. Das kann ich zwar auch künftig, aber ich nehme stark an, nackte Betonwände werden nicht halb so attraktiv anzusehen sein, wie dieser Blick in die Ferne...

Yesterday I was there again. That view is gone. The earth domes behind the tracks were harbingers. Cranes are there now. Tall concrete steles are ready to frame walls. At least I was able to stand here and look for a few years. I can still do that in the future, but I suspect that bare concrete walls won't be half as attractive to look at as this view into the distance...

Skyline Frankfurt am Main, Aussicht von der Flößerbrücke

Die Flößerbrücke im Frankfurter Stadtteil Sachsenhausen ist einer der besten Orte, um die Hochhäuser in Frankfurt am Main zu fotografieren. Die besten Lichtverhältnisse kann man sich aber leider nicht aussuchen, wenn man nur einen Tag in der Stadt ist. Werfen wir also einen Blick auf die Frankfurter Skyline an einem bewölkten Sommertag im Juni 2023.
