MISSION TO MOON
INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION (ISRO) has achieved numerous milestones since its establishment starting from the first Indian Satellite, Aryabhata to Rohini, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV). In 2019, Indian scientists were ready for their mission to moon with CHANDRAYAAN-2 with 130 crore Indians dreams the "CHANDRAYAAN-2" was launched from the second launch pad at SATISH DHAWAN SPACE CENTRE on 22JULY 2019 at 2:43PM to the moon by a GEOSYNCHRONOUS SATELLITE LAUNCH VEHICLE MARK III [GSLV MKIII]. The lander and the rover parts of CHANDRAYAAN-2 will land on the near side of the Moon, in the south at a latitude of about 70° south on 7 September 2019. The following scientists were key persons for the development of CHANDRAYAAN-2:-

2.   RITU KARIDHAL-MISSION DIRECTOR OF CHANDRAYAAN-2
3.  CHANDRAKANTA KUMAR-DEPUTY PROJECT DIRECTOR OF CHANDRAYAAN-2
The CHANDRAYAAN-2 estimated cost as a 978 crore project. The target of Indian scientists is to find more evidence of water at moon,clues about moon evolution and work as a natural satellite for more space missions concerning about solar system.CHANDRAYAAN-2 will study mainly elements of moon, map it's topography through high-resolution pictures. By launching CHANDRAYAAN-2 INDIA becoming fourth nation to send their satellite to moon after US, RUSSIA and CHINA.
The target is find more evidence of water, clues about the moon’s evolution and work the natural satellite as a test bed for more space missions concerning the solar system.
