The parallels of Avia and Lightray to Izaya and Orion are not that subtle, the fact that High-Father (Izaya) says that Orion reminds him of his younger battle-focused self who lost his Avia before she heard him sing also adds a distinct level of angst all around.

I wonder if it wounded High Father every now and then to see Orion and Lightray's interactions because of how close to home they hit.

The Fourth World is gone because of our infighting and we must work together for this Fifth World!" After hearing those words, no New Gods from both Apokolips and New Genesis chose to fight against Scott's leadership as he is a child of both world and they understood that they must built a new home for future generations.

Hello all! You may have already heard murmurings about a calendar project, and I’m pleased to announce that we’re getting it off the ground! But first we need to gather a bit more information, so here’s our official interest check. No obligation to join, but if this seems like something you might be into, let us know!

A little extra info

The calendar will be a standard hanging wall calendar with art on the top flap and a date grid on the bottom flap. 

As this is a calendar for 2026 and the project is quite small, we are only looking for artist contributors who will be available to work on pieces from late May through July so that we can get these printed and shipped well before 2025 ends.

Look for the official contributor application in early to mid May!

no joke i woke up and the very first post on my dash was the original "we popping the biggest bottles" post and i immediately knew in my heart that it was still going to be 20 years since lightray n orion had a conversation in a main universe comic....the comic was still really good! yaya new new gods! go check it out!!!!
