Day 8 || Navaratri in KAILASA || About Sandhi puja || As described in the Devi Mahatmyam, the Cosmic Mother assumed the form which is described to be as bright as thousands of suns together. She destroyed the demons of Mahishasura Sena to protect all the Devas. Devi then returned the Swarga rajya (Kingdom of Heaven) back to the Devas. Cosmic Mother also gave a promise to all the Devas, that whenever they are distressed, She Herself will land and destroy all the negativity in their life. When the demons, Shumba and Nishumba took form , the Devas prayed to Cosmic Mother. Thus, Devi Chandika happened and destroyed all the demons. During the leela of destorying Shumba and Nishumba, She also assumed the form of Devi Chamunda and destroyed demons Chanda and Munda exactly at this time as the rituals are happening. We are performing this Sandhi Puja where we invoke the Cosmic Mother in this very place at this very time. We also invoke the demons Chanda and Munda into banana tree. With the blessings of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, the banana tree would be cut reliving the cleansing of negativity on Earth. It is not a re-enaction or representation but Devi Herself being invoked to protect the collective good . We are fortunate to have The Supreme Pontiff, and pray to The Supreme Pontiff to restore back the supreme conscious, superconsciousness of Paramashiva and Parashakti of Paramashiva on this earth as we are living this very moment. Fortune Shumba
Recently we premiered a track from a devilishly good digital dub EP entitled Dubokaj Meets Fortune Shumba, and immediately we wanted to know more about the singer adding his honeyed vocals to the Swiss producer’s ‘Alpine Dub’. As the title suggests, that singer is Fortune Shumba, a Joburg artist originally from the township of Mpumalanga.
After discovering music while cleaning his father’s taxi cabs, Fortune Shumba determinedly set out on a creative path that was not without its pitfalls. From being ripped off by unscrupulous promoters to getting accidentally stranded in Texas, it’s fair to say the smooth-voiced singer hasn’t had it all his own way. However, aided by a diverse range of influences and his irrepressible artistic energy, Fortune Shumba is showing that there are few barriers to self-expression that can’t be overcome. Read on to learn the rest of his compelling story…
MusicMap: We recently premiered a track from your EP with Dubokaj – what were your favourite moments from those recording sessions?
Fortune Shumba: Hard to pick! I could say the lunch breaks? But then you’ll say I eat too much hahaha so… it has to be when I was first being introduced to the instrumentals with no words and I had to come up with melodies that would perhaps enhance the songs (cause honestly they were already dope without my vocal!). Also cause this was new territory I was branching into, as far as the genre. I’d never really made dub before this.
How did recording with Dubokaj differ from your usual studio experiences?
He really lets you be as weird as you wanne be without giving you the eye LOL! He pays fine attention to fine detail, if a recording take has one tiny thing bothering him he will not be afraid to tell you to do another one. He also has a no rules policy, he makes music that feels good but there is no specific formulae. Anything goes!
Where would be the ideal place to listen to the EP, in your opinion?
With friends once everyone is super baked or alone in bed and in your feels (and/or baked). Bottom line is, it’s even nicer when you are baked. Promise you.
You’ve previously said your music is inspired by dreams – what’s the strangest dream you’ve had recently?
I keep dreaming of my late grandmother, and her house, it’s a recurring dream. But in these dreams there is a huge flood headed our way (My mom, younger brother and I keep driving to escape by driving away). She most probably misses me as much as I miss her. We used to visit her place every holiday and spend some time together. She was a poet and a school teacher so we’d spend most of our time writing or painting or something creative. I guess I also miss that life, hence these never ending dreams about that and tons of flashbacks from my childhood, suddenly.
You’re originally from Mpumalanga. How would you desribe it, and how does it compare to living in Johannesburg?
Mpumalanga is very quiet and reserved. I grew up in a simple, small township and not much really goes on that side. As a kid I was really errm.mo different (or weird depending how you look at it really…). So, as you can imagine – I did not have that many friends, hardly ever went out.
But I have some great memories of my time there. I know we had loads of trees at home so that meant we never had to buy Mangoes or Avos or Bananas. Some great weather too. I realise now how lucky I was because I moved to Joburg and had to pay a fortune for a tiny avo and it’s usually really cold. Nelspruit is generally relaxed.
Loads of WTF moments about Joburg however! Like, the fact that everyone is minding their own business and always on a rush to somewhere. No friendly hellos and smiles from strangers like back at home here. Everyone is on their daily hustle and no one trusts anyone or feels the need to get to know anyone. But also this is an exciting thrill, this pushes you to push yourself! I am still trying to get used to this rush and just being here and I moved here like a year ago already.
Can you send us a photo of the view from your window?
What sort of music were you exposed to when you were growing up?
Kwaito first, my father was a taxi driver who later went on to start his own taxi business. Before he and my mother divorced I was exposed to the taxi life almost everyday. My dad played a lot of Brenda Fassie, Soul Brothers and Yvonne Chaka Chaka in his cars.
youtube
When he expanded his business there were more taxi drivers involved, each one had their own different taste in music and since it was my duty to clean the “mini-bus” taxis upon their return every night, I’d go through each driver’s music catalog and sing my heart out while doing my “chore”. You’d get guys that would play Brandy or Whitney or Destiny’s Child or Luther or Celine or whatever, the more younger drivers would have more edgier Kwaito and House stuff like Boom Shaka or Arthur Mafokate or Mandoza or Brenda Fassie or even Oskido. Then you had those drivers that liked American rap, your Ja Rule and DMX and Jay Z or Biggy or Pac. I played everything!
My gran played a lot of Dolly Parton so I was exposed to that too. She’d cry over it or dance or whatever cause it reminded her of a friend that had passed on. My grandfather from my dad’s side was from Zimbabwe, he ran a drinking shebeen for the villagers to drink at and he normally played a lot of Zimbabwean records, really loud. We’d normally dance to that and the people who were there to drink would form part of our audience and would sometimes throw some money at us.
I then grew a little older and went through my little gothic phase (picture this, a township kid in a public school who is goth and queer). I was listening to 5FM which was considered a “white station”. Radio introduced me to bands like BLK JKS, Panic at the Disco, Freshly Ground (first live show I saw and to this day I aspire to be as liberated as Zolani was on that day) and so forth. I was also listening to Evanescence, Paramore, Green Day, The Killers, Daughtry, Queen, Adam Lambert and 30 Seconds To Mars.
youtube
Then I kinda outgrew that and started listening to a lot of world music, loads of Busi Mhlongo and Jabu Khanyile and Bholoja and Dobet Gnahorè, some Sade too.
When I was in high school I began dating a guy who was older than me and was a die hard Bjork fan. I jumped on that too, became super obsessed. Oh I loved Beyonce (still do), my playlist had some Rihanna, and some Missy Elliot, some Pink, some Madge, Bowie, Grace Jones. I liked the pop artists who were super visual and were pushing boundaries.
And then when I would still go to church one of the American missionaries who’d visit our house regularly told me about Florence and The Machine and Kate Nash and a bunch of very quirky and alternative Brit acts he liked. I was genre hopping a lot growing up.
When did you start making your own music and what was it like?
First time recording, I was in 10th grade and it was a hook [by] a guy called Pressure, a rapper neighbour of mine at the time. Never got to hear that mess after recording it and also, I was glad cause I hated it so much OMG I thought I had a really annoying voice!
Since I spent a lot of time with my writer gran, I became a writer and poet first before even deciding to sing my own songs. In 2013 when I went to University I was yearning to record music suddenly. I’d skip some classes and link up with some guy in the city who had promised to make me a star. I paid him for studio time from my own savings without telling my mom and he got these two guys to produce a house song for me and it was not as bad as my first attempt with the rap hook.
The two guys disappeared with the song and my damn money. The other guy who’d said he’d make me famous vanished too. So I never got to hear that song too, post- studio session.
Later on during the June school holidays in that 2013 whilst visiting a friend of mine from back home who had his little backyard studio set up, just a mic and mixer – nothing fancy but heeeeyyy. He played me a tribal house beat and I started free styling over it, he lost his mind completely. See, I was not that confident in my singing, he kinda hyped me up and talked me into recording that song the next day. We ended up doing an entire mixtape and I was like “I love this shit!”. I realised I really enjoyed singing more than anything.
I went back to University and wrote more music while other kids were studying hard for exams, it was an otherworldly experience honestly and I had been sucked into this fantasy land where I could be anything or anyone I wanna be through song. I ended up dropping out of University where I was studying Accounting and pursued the music thing full time. And yes my parents were disappointed in me, severely… but I could care less. I felt free through making music.
Does your local area influence the music you make?
Definitely! I mean… as a writer you find inspiration in almost anything and Jozi is like a melting pot of cultures so inspiration finds you all the time. I started being more outgoing, braver and edgier when I moved here. I grew into my own, away from all I knew back at home. The people I hang around with now, the spots I go to, just my general view of the big city and its impact in my way of living and thinking has definitely influenced my sound somehow.
Who’s your biggest South African musical influence, past and/or present?
Present: Die Antwoord, Black Coffee, Thandiswa Mazwai. Past: Brenda Fassie, Boom Shaka/Lebo Mathosa, Busi Mhlongo, Jabu Khanyile.
youtube
What one place should music fans visiting South Africa see or do?
Definitely Maboneng. Very artsy vibe. Real African experience. There’s usually shows happening and there’s a back packer too, loads of places to get wasted at and buy some trees. Really tourist friendly and all the cool kids hang out there so there is some great company too.
What’s the biggest challenge facing musicians in South Africa right now?
People do not wanna pay for our stuff out here ’cause the respect for our craft is not really there. Though you do get lucky sometimes.
Promoters also do not pay artists and if they do it’s not what they are worth. And you get festivals that will book the same acts every year and shut other kids out. I could go on cause there’s a lot but that is up there in my top three… oooh also, no radio or tv air play for the kids who try to bring something fresh and original.
Where in the world would you most like to perform?
Does “All over the world” count as a valid answer? Lol Would really love to play a huge stage at a European festival. I really love Europe. I think I was meant to stay in Europe?
What’s your favourite album of all time?
This is so difficult. I will go with Bjork’s Vespertine.
youtube
What’s your favourite track of 2017 so far?
Besides my own of course! I really like Sevdaliza’s ‘Bluecid’.
youtube
Finally, Fortune Shumba, what are the luckiest and unluckiest things to happen to you in life so far?
Unlucky: Losing both my maternal and paternal grandmothers around the same time. My messed up relationship with my father. My parents divorcing when I was a kid… getting lost at night in Johannesburg on my first week of being here… what else? I got drunk at SxSW last year and got on the wrong bus back to the hotel, ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere in America and I had a flight to catch the next day. Also being molested at a young age changed my entire life and not being able to talk about it. And recently I was supposed to go to Switzerland for three months and my Visa got declined. Too many things to mention really… LOL
Lucky cause I am still alive and able to create music. Lucky to have a loving and supportive mother and siblings. Lucky to be free. Freedom is not known to others.

Lessons, playlists, advice: A conversation with Fortune Shumba Q&A by Banzii Mavuso.
1. What lessons have you learned in the past year that are readying you for 2018?
So many lessons in 2017, some of them- That I matter too, that I should never apologize for being myself even when at times it makes others feel uncomfortable. That my dreams are valid and deserve to be put right on top of my priority list. I also learnt the art of letting go... of people, and things that no longer belong in my space or feed my soul and grow from all of that instead of being guilt ridden over it and dwelling on negativity when I know I am magic. Basically I realized my power, took it, owned it.
2. What is Fortune listening to right now?
Busiswa's Bazoyenza is my ratch anthem, love to work out to it or just get turnt to it. Also playing Beyonce's 4 album on repeat, such an underrated masterpiece.
3. What do you think about the Indie/alternative landscape in the South African music industry at the moment? Do you think South Africans are finally supporting said artists?
The indie kids are straight up fucking shit up. It's that whole "if they will not give it to us then we will just kick down doors and break glass ceilings to go get it". People are watching, people are supporting, it is not exactly where it should be but you cannot say you do not see the revolution happening. You see a lot of brands trying to be as daring and different and often associating themselves with indie kids in the game. You can see mainstream artists borrowing from the indie kids and even though some may not acknowledge them, some actually do. Yes, we have seen a couple of Indie local musos do amazing things over the past year- Think Nonku Phiri or BCUC or Moonchild Sanelly. Everyone is suddenly coming to the party and it feels great to be part of that whole movement.
4. Reality is, money and success will start rolling in naturally after you find your professional niche and enjoy what you are doing – what do you do to stand out as an indie/alternative artist in South Africa?
I honestly do not ever feel the need to do anything else either than truly being myself to stand out. It took a minute I must admit, but after a while I realised that there was only one of me in this world and that is the one thing that would set me apart from everyone else, just being my blunt, cooky ole self. Some reject you, the real ones stay on and ride with you, others come to the party later on, it's all a process. But at least you know you never have the pressures of keeping up with being some made up persona to keep people interested in what you do. For instance, I mostly write about my lived experiences instead of unrelatable, unrealistic shit and some think that is gross as hell while some appreciate the sincerity and bravery- those are my people, that is my niche.
5. What advice would you give to unsigned artists in South Africa, who aspire to be heard in the country and abroad?
Just do you! The rest will follow. When you are yourself it shines through and the right people will come to the party. As cliché as it may sound, nothing can ever go wrong if you become yourself at all times. The most "unattractive" layers of you will normally make people want to pay attention and support you, so do not ever hide anything as an artist, even when you think people might find you too weird or less cool if you open up about that stuff- be an open book, share your experiences, talk about your fears, your joys, your lows. That is the stuff that people wanna hear- not big expensive cars that you have never even driven or cool rich friends you do not even have, well according to me... cause, different things work for different people generally. We are all trying to figure this shit out at the end of the day and what works for the one guy won’t necessary work for the next.. ypu know?
6. Describe your sound to people who do not know you.
I used to tell everyone I make Alternative music before, for the lack of a better term until it dawned on me, my music was more than just that. There are so many elements to my music and the more I grow the more some of these flavours show themselves. I am influenced by Punk, Soul, Tribal, Pop, Kwaito, Bubblegum, Ambient, Electronic and Rap music. I then coined a term for it, well- I named my music after an African dish- Chakalaka. That is what I call my style of music these days. Just a huge melting pot of different flavours that make up one, unique sound that is served on a sparkly plate of Electronic music.
7. Share a powerful mantra that you live by.
Something my mom says to me all the time when I am quarter to giving up- "It's always darkest before the dawn".
8. Close off by telling us about your upcoming projects & where can people find you on the Internet?
Will be releasing a single real soooon called "Trash!" which I worked on with Vox Portent. This year I will also be releasing the final instalment of my EP trilogy which began in 2015 with my Dawn EP that was then followed by Daylight, this year I will be releasing Dusk, so excited to share that and then some with everyone. Also gonna do a few more collabs with other artists this year.
Keep it locked on my socials to see all of this unravel

Busanga: Plains of Diversity
New Post has been published on https://tagasafarisafrica.com/africa-travel-news/extraordinary-places/busanga-plains-of-diversity/
Busanga: Plains of Diversity
This remote area was both therapeutic and meditative, challenging all my senses while taking me on a personal journey of greater mindfulness.
Dominating the wild north-west of Zambia’s Kafue National Park are the vast Busanga floodplains, a sweeping, seasonally inundated grassland boasting some of the most pristine and diverse habitat in Africa.
Wildlife is found here in astonishing abundance, but this area offers a lot more than that. This remote area was both therapeutic and meditative, challenging all my senses while taking me on a personal journey of greater mindfulness. There is a definite connection between time in the wilderness and mindfulness. Dare I say much of the world today perhaps suffers from ‘nature deficit disorder’?
On the Busanga Plains, both Shumba Camp and Busanga Bush Camp could not be better located to experience the best this area has to offer. Both are found in the epicentre of Busanga’s diversity – a sensory overload!
Visitors to the Busanga Plains will certainly leave with memories and photos of large red lechwe and puku herds silhouetted in the early morning mists and orange haze of the spectacular Kafue dawns and sunsets. This is, however, just a small taste of the varied wildlife diversity that can be encountered here. No less than 24 ungulate species occur here – from the diminutive blue duiker all the way up to eland and buffalo.
In the north-west lie the Busanga Swamps, a papyrus-dominated wetland that has a sitatunga population and offers a chance to view this specialist antelope for the more patient and intrepid visitor. The most aquatic of all antelope and related to bushbuck and kudu, any sighting of sitatunga is prized due to their secretive and often nocturnal habits.
Red lechwe
Roan antelope
The swamps give way to the vast seasonally-inundated grassland of the Busanga Plains further south, the favoured haunt of similarly water-loving red lechwe, southern reedbuck and puku, which are joined in the dry season by good numbers of roan antelope. Typically there are also resident and territorial bushbuck to be found on the various picturesque tree islands dotted throughout the plains. Blue wildebeest are also frequently observed along the treeline bordering the plains, together with species such as greater kudu and impala.
Blue wildebeest
Defassa waterbuck
Impala
This treeline fringe and further south in the Park, where Brachystegia (miombo) woodland and dambos (small, grassy floodplains in central Africa) can be found, are ideal for more reclusive species such as Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, Defassa waterbuck and oribi. At the driest time of year even the majestic sable antelope leaves the surrounding woodlands to seek water on the plains, further adding to the area’s diversity. Troops of yellow baboons are also often seen foraging in termitaria-dominated grasslands along the treeline as are family groups of common warthog. Busanga’s long grass is also favoured habitat of side-striped jackal, and after dark we had the fortune of seeing porcupine and African wild cat.
Lichtenstein’s hartebeest
While the Busanga is also known for its incredible lion encounters it is heartening to know that Wilderness Safaris has partnered with the Lion Recovery Fund and other major tourism entities, forming the Lionscape Coalition to collaborate on lion population awareness, recovery and protection in key landscapes just like Kafue.
Wilderness Safaris has been present on the Busanga Plains since 2006. In the 13 years that have passed, the resurgence of the area is noticeable, with significant growth in populations of various species. For instance, back in 2008 and 2011, we did not see a lot of elephant. On this trip, in June 2019, we saw large elephant herds around Kapinga Island. This is a tangible result of the fruits of frontier ecotourism. The same can be said for Cape buffalo, with a large herd in excess of 400 animals often seen on the plains today.
The Busanga Plains ticks all the boxes as a true wilderness destination. Well off the beaten track, it offers amazing experiences that will leave an indelible imprint on all who visit.

Trump’s America already looks like an African kleptocracy
Here’s a story that may sound familiar: A leader soars to power on a populist message; his party calls him the “people’s candidate.” He promises to bring prosperity to the poor, vilifying immigrants in the process. Yet once in power, he amasses extraordinary wealth for himself. He hands over the country’s largest state-owned oil company to his daughter, who becomes the richest woman in Africa as he gets challenged in court for nepotism.
I’m talking about José Eduardo dos Santos, who has ruled Angola for 37 years by silencing critics while racking up a fortune for himself and his family. But I could easily be describing any number of Africa’s corrupt leaders — Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, for instance, or Omar al-Bashir in Sudan — who rule on bribery, cronyism, nepotism and embezzlement.
“It’s going to be hard to speak with moral authority on corruption and on nepotism because visually, it’s clear that there is nepotism and corruption in the Trump camp.”
For decades, America has pressured dictators in Africa to embrace democracy and the rule of law. Now, the joke’s on us. With a couple weeks until inauguration, Donald Trump is already drawing from a similar playbook.
Two aid workers and two U.S. diplomats working in Africa and the Middle East who spoke on condition of anonymity to protect their jobs said Trump’s behavior is making their jobs more difficult. At least two sources said their meetings have been more contentious since the election, with foreign counterparts asking why they should embrace democracy if Trump himself doesn’t play by the rules.
“It’s going to be hard to speak with moral authority on corruption and on nepotism because visually, it’s clear that there is nepotism and corruption in the Trump camp,” said Shadi Hamid, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and author of Islamic Exceptionalism: How the Struggle Over Islam is Reshaping the World. “His children are very involved in business, but also are advising him on policy.”
One issue is Trump’s failure to disentangle himself from his unprecedented conflicts of interest. Initially, Trump tweeted that he would be “leaving [his] businesses before January 20” to “focus full time on the presidency.”
” id=”embeddable-rodb44rl13o” data-type=”twitter” style=”display: block; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: proxima-nova, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);”>
Presidency. Two of my children, Don and Eric, plus executives, will manage them. No new deals will be done during my term(s) in office.
” id=”embeddable-45c742ja35″ data-type=”twitter” style=”display: block; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: proxima-nova, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);”>
It’s now clear he does not plan to divest from his businesses and put his stake in a blind trust, even though presidents from both parties have done so for four decades. Trump says his sons Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump will take over the family business in his stead. Yet they, along with his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, have been intimately involved in transition meetings. In one case, the New York Times reported Ivanka Trump closed a business deal with a Japanese clothing company while she sat in on her father’s recent meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The Japanese government is the largest investor in the company.
This kind of behavior has been the hallmark of African kleptocracies for decades. President Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, for example, appointed his son-in-law to run the country’s largest national airline.
Yet Trump has dismissed concerns about his personal conflicts of interest (or those of his proposed cabinet members like CEO of Exxon Rex Tillerson). “You people are making that a big deal — the business,” the president-elect recently told the press outside Mar-a-Lago. “It is a very routine thing. It is not a big deal.”
Then there’s the issue of pay-for-play — offering services in exchange for money — which is another favorite practice of African kleptocrats. The Emoluments Clause of the Constitution prohibits presidents from receiving gifts from foreign governments without approval from Congress.
But foreign officials are already trying to win over Trump by doing him favors. The embassy of Kuwait moved an expensive event to Trump’s D.C. hotel after pressure from his transition team. Trump’s decade-long trademark dispute with China got resolved in his favor just several days after he was elected president. Even before election night, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte appointed a new trade envoy to the U.S. who happened to be Trump’s business partner in Manila.
“That hasn’t been possible in the U.S.,” said Ian Bremmer, a political scientist and president of the Eurasia Group, a political consulting firm. “But now, other governments and corporate leaders will think that the way they can work best with the U.S. government is by throwing something to the Trump organization.”
The irony, of course, is that this is exactly the kind of corruption that Trump attacked Hillary Clinton for over the course of the election, when he slammed her for engaging in pay-for-play with Clinton Foundation donors as Secretary of State.
The United States’ ability to project democracy across the world has been on the decline for decades. And yet, countries still look to America for leadership. What the U.S. says and how it acts on the global stage carries weight. As President Barack Obama recently cautioned in his final press conference of 2016, America is a much stronger country than Russia, but “they can impact us if we lose track of who we are, if we abandon our values.”
President Barack Obama conducts his final press conference of 2016. Source: Olivier Douliery/AP
This is almost certain to happen under President Donald Trump. “The U.S. is no longer going to be seen as the voice for liberal democracy,” Hamid said. “Now, the U.S. may be seen as promoting illiberal democracy abroad.”
Opposition to Trump’s conflicts will not come from this Republican-controlled Congress. On Tuesday, House Republicans secretly voted to weaken the Office of Congressional Ethics, which investigates corruption allegations against members of Congress. After a vociferous backlash, they reversed course.
Most members tell me blizzard of angry constituent calls were most impt factor in getting the House to sideline the amdt
” id=”embeddable-qgb539gf79o” data-type=”twitter” style=”display: block; margin-right: 0px; margin-left: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: proxima-nova, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);”>
What’s clear from the episode is the only way to rein in Trump will be everyday citizens speaking up.
