Okay me & @camipretzel just re watched Heathers (first time with the movie for Cami 🥺) & some big things I think musical fans (me included) forget

Veronica is just as blood thirsty as JD in the movie (she still tries to deny it but it’s a loott more clear that she knew what she was doing than in the musical)

Duke & Veronica are a lot tighter than in the musical & have more one on one or together screen time & Chandler & Mcnamara are a lot more evil toward Duke than in the musical (imo anyway, & it probably does depend on the production & what lines they keep in to an extent)

McNamara is much less sad & more evil for most of the movie tbh, I kinda like her having more bite than in the musical. Honestly every single character is more of an asshole in the movie 😂

Movie JD is a lot more evil & less emotional than musical JD yes I see this one talked about a lot but also what I don’t see pointed out is that EVERYONE is more stunted in the movie cause that’s kinda the style (Veronica’s mom doesn’t even scream when she walks in on her hanging 😳)

JD & Duke evilly vibe & have a lot of chemistry & if that one anon who asked me if I shipped them is still around: I said no at the time cause it had been forever since I watched the movie & forgot how much chemistry that version of them has. I’ve changed my answer now
