Long ears twitched as a sound rang out, groggy and completely confused. One moment, the fennec hybrid was studying plants, the next, he was lost in a strange place.

He tried to figure out where he was but he was overtaken by some unruly individuals and placed in some sort of confinement, as he struggles to sit up, he knew that his head was throbbing as he was knocked out not too long ago.

He then felt the confinement being wheeled and a shroud was covering where he was in, shadows moving behind the covering and strange sounds filled the air.

His eyes darted around before the movement ceases and he was in place for something, one of the higher ups of the individuals that caught him then spoke out to many onlookers.

They announced that they have found a real treat to amaze the crowd as the fennec watched the shroud suddenly being lifted and several strange bright lights shining down upon him inside the cage which caused him to hiss in pain as the overwhelming brightness stung at his eyes, the man lets out a booming voice, saying things like ''freak'' and ''amazing specimen'' as the people sat in complete shock upon seeing him with his long ears and strange fluffy tail.

He has to escape.

He has to get away from here.

Break free.

Tighnari pants a little as he was searching for some flowers that sadly only resided in the desert, he knew that he should've packed more water than what he already had. This was bad, realllly bad.

He seeked out a nearby palm tree for shelter from the smoldering heat that cascaded the dry sands, wondering when night will come as that be the ideal time to traverse further.

Tighnari walked slowly throughout Sumeru City as he was looking for some new samples the market usually brings in from time to time as long ears wiggle, picking up many sounds as well as voices as his eyes gaze around his surroundings.

The weather was fresh and the air was crisp, the usual for the Land of Dendro. He wondered if he will find some familiar faces also traversing the more he walked on, you never know.

Tighnari wondered what he currently stood as this didn't look like Sumeru or Teyvat the more he studied the various flora and fauna, where exactly was he...?

He continued to ponder but then his long ears flick up as he could hear someone or something approaching, from the sounds, it sounded close by, maybe several steps from where he currently was.

He made sure that his weapon was accessible at the ready, no way was he letting a foe get the upperhand if worse comes to worse.

Tighnari slowly looked up to see his good friend Cyno there and he was thankful that the other wasn't cracking any jokes during this time, he gently moves his right hand to the offered canteen as he took a couple of gulps.

His parched throat thanking the archons as well as his savior before he would speak, long ears slightly droopy.

"....hah...thanks for the water there and I think I'll be alright Cyno, I'm trying to find a particular flower that only grows here in the desert but this heat...got to me before I could even find it.

I knew that I should've packed more for this trek, seems like I have to wait for nightfall to continue the search.

Are you out here patrolling for any treasure hunters or eremites?"

He slowly asks as he tries to sit up, still feeling a bit of the heat.
