I'm currently doing a storm chaser Au for MOTA, I posted my three part today, so I just wanted to drop some lore slash headcanons
1. Bucky was adopted at age seven by Jack and Chick, he doesn't call them his dads. He calls them his weird uncles.
2. Buckys parents were killed by a tornado.
3. Bucky has been chasing tornados since he was a kid.
4. Bucky and Buck are married, but currently divorcing. But also at the same time not really.
5. Curt and Dickie have been married since the dinosaurs.
6. DeMarco is engaged to Brady, Meatball is their son.
7. Bubbles and Crosby are married duh.
8. Douglass and Hambone have been dating forever.
9. Helen and Nash are married.
10. Quinn is in a situationship with Bailey and Babyface, I can't even explain it.
11. Ken is married to Winks, they have a son named Sammy.
12. Sammy was carried by Helen, but she is not biologically his mother.
13. Meatball was found in what was left of a barn, he was just a puppy.
14. Helen is the only one with her life together, she's a sex therapist, which Nash finds hilarious.
12. Ken and Winks are farmhands slash mechanics, that live on Jack and Chicks farm.
13. Everyone lives in Jack and Chicks basement.
14. They live in Wakita Oklahoma.
15. Nobodys car dates past 1996 is a running joke between everyone when in reality its like 1990.
16. Hambone is the human barometer.
17. Croz is the navigator, he has a whole a conniption if Bubbles folds the maps.
18. DeMarco drives a retired school bus, for some reason well drunk DeMarco put where it use to say school, it says "Burrito Barn" now. He doesn't know either.
19. Bucky drives a blue 1983 GMC Vandura with a unicorn painted on both sides.
20. Ken painted the unicorns on Buckys van.
21. Curt and Dickie drive a black 1989 Chevrolet Suburban, it's nickname is "The Beast"
22. The Beast has been put back together four times now, the most severe incident was a cell tower piece through the windshield.
23. Bubbles and Croz drive a 1982 Ford F-150.
24. Douglass and Hambone drive a 1983 Ford LTD Country Squire, Hammy calls it "The Boat" or "The Wagon" depending on the day.
25. Douglass loves to drift his Squire, which is not good for it.
26. Rosies drives a 1985 Chevrolet Chevy Van, it has utility lights on it, Bucky calls it "The Boring Van"
27. Helen and Nash drive a 1975 Chevrolet K-10.
28. Bucky is the resident idiot of the group.
29. Rosies operates all the fancy equipment, and the cameras for obvious reasons.
30. They have a YouTube channel, which is called the Windy 100th. Rosie thought of it because he was a history major.
31. Their YouTube channel isn't that popular, but it's more about them having fun then anything.
32. Curt and Brady do audio, they have the best ears.
33. Smokey is their doctor, but he is a registered wackadoodle.
34. Smokey drives this hideous green 1990 Crown Victoria it belongs to Stormy, though he pretends not to own it for obvious reasons.
35. Instead of Brady yelling "Son of a bitch, that's France! He's yelled "Son Of Bitch, that's the tornado." He nearly died that day.
36. Brady just owns a baseball helmet for some reason.
37. Hambone is called Hambone because he literally got smacked by a flying pig.
38. Babyface is called Babyface, because for some reason he keeps getting smacked in the head by babydolls.
39. Stormy is an actual meteorologist, that just helps out the group. So he slightly has his life together.
40. Ken owns a flatbed tow truck for obvious reasons, but he normally drives a 1977 GMC C-15 which he shares with Winks.
41. Buck owns a 1984 Jeep Wagoneer.
42. All of them met in college well studying you guessed it weather.
43. Rosie knows Oklahoma by heart, he sings with Smokey.
44. DeMarco loves rock music, he blasts it on drives through speakers on his bus.
45. Douglass loves classical music.
46. All of them are amazing drivers which is surprising considering.
47. Chick is the one who cooks, Jack bakes and makes pretty much everything.
48. Jack makes wind chimes that he sells.
49. The only one to ever have seen an F5 was Bucky, its what killed his parents.
50. Bucky thinks he's the leader, but it's actually Rosie.
That's it, that's lore for the Windy 100th aka Storm Chaser AU.

1955 ford engine serial number location
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION DRIVER
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION SERIES
There were new convenience options, such as a new air-conditioner system, a new heater, and a nine-tube signal-seeking radio. The Parklane, a Fairlane trimmed Tudor station wagon, was added to compete with the Chevrolet Nomad. A new addition at midyear was the "Town Victoria" 4-door hardtop model which, along with the new Customline Victoria 2-door hardtop, were meant to compete with the Chevrolet Bel Air and Plymouth Belvedere. The Crown Victoria Skyliner's sales were plummeting with just 603 made, and it would be replaced by a convertible the next year.
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION SERIES
The eggcrate grille featured on the 1955 cars was widened into a series of rectangles for 1956, but this subtle exterior change was nothing compared to Ford's adoption of a 12-volt electrical system, with a six volt system optional. : pp 394–395 A sedan delivery variant was marketed as the Ford Courier. : p 395 The Ranch Wagon and Custom Ranch Wagon were 2 door wagons while the Country Sedan and Country Squire models were 4 door wagons, the latter featuring wooden appliqué side mouldings. Station wagons were offered as a separate series for the first time for 1955. The 1955 Fords were marketed under separate names for each of the three trim levels: Ford Mainline, Ford Customline and Ford Fairlane. The condenser was mounted in front of the radiator as in later cars. The "Select Aire" design was carried over to the 1956 models with slightly different cold air vents in the same location as on the 1955 models. This “Select Aire” option featured an integrated heater core and evaporator coil unit within the dash and cold air discharge vents located on top of the dash on either side of the radio speaker. Also new for 1955 was Ford's first factory installed air conditioner.
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION DRIVER
This gives the driver more panoramic visibility.įor the first time, Ford offered seat belts as a dealer option (not factory installed, with instructions provided by a Service Bulletin). With this panoramic windshield the A-pillars have a vertical angle. The Fords introduced for 1955 also featured the panoramic windshields found on Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Cadillacs the previous year. Also, Fords had a new frame, but still with five cross members. New brakes were used 11-inch (280 mm) drums. The Fairlane Crown Victoria was also offered with a transparent "skylighted" top. The company now marketed three different rooflines on its two-door models the tall two-pillar Mainline, Customline, and Fairlane sedans, pillarless hardtop Fairlane Victoria and the chrome-pillar Fairlane Crown Victoria. This use of a styling feature to visually separate the front of the passenger compartment from the rear reappeared on the 1977-1979 Ford Thunderbird, the Ford LTD Crown Victoria, the Ford Fairmont Futura and Mercury Zephyr Z-7 coupes. The Mileage Maker I6 was bumped up to 223 CID (3.7 L) for 120 hp (89 kW) and the new-for-1954 Y-block V8 was now offered in two sizes: Standard Fords used a 272 CID (4.5 L) version with 162 hp (121 kW) with 2-barrel carburetor and single exhaust or 182 hp with 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust, but the large 292 CID (4.8 L) unit from the Thunderbird was also offered, boasting 193 hp (144 kW).Īpart from the engine changes, customers were sure to notice the new Fairlane, which replaced the Crestline as the top trim level, while a new Crown Victoria-style featured a chrome "basket handle" across the familiar (and continued) " Victoria" hardtop roof, which originally appeared on the Mercury XM-800 concept car. The American Ford line of cars gained a new body for 1955 to keep up with surging Chevrolet and Plymouth (automobile), although it remained similar to the 1952 Ford underneath. The 1955 Ford is an automobile which was produced by Ford in the United States for the 1955 model year and, in revised form, for the 1956 model year. Junkyard Gem: 2005 Ford Taurus Station Wagon
[ad_1] Ford had one of its all-time greatest successes with the original 1986-2007 Taurus (and its Mercury Sable twin), and the roomy Taurus wagon could take credit for a respectable slice of those sales. Still, the parallel rise of the minivan and the SUV squeezed wagon sales hard as the 1990s progressed. The full-sized, rear-wheel-drive LTD Crown Victoria Country Squire got the axe in 1991,…

“Those were tough days,” said Gail Halderman in 1984 about the day to day tasks of reinventing Ford’s cars in the late 1970s. Henry Ford II was not a fan of smaller cars and didn’t really believe the market would want them, until all of a sudden there was no choice. GM’s downsizing programs were far head of Ford’s and, for all the ad copy about the superiority of Ford’s “Road Hugging Weight” in 1977, the downsized ’77 Chevy handily outsold the Ford and the Blue Oval’s U.S. operations bled red ink. - To make matters worse, HFII fired product man Hal Sperlich in 1976. An early advocate of downsizing, Sperlich had helped create Ford’s Carousel prototype (styled by Dick Nesbitt), an early minivan, but the idea faced internal resistance from some Ford execs, who felt Minivans might cannibalize station wagons rather than grow new markets. Sperlich wasn’t fired over that, but for pushing too hard for smaller cars like the mk1 Fiesta, which he also helped create. Two years later HFII also fired Lee Iacocca. Both landed at Chrysler. - Behind the scenes of this drama between past and future, Halderman and his team were furiously working on two downsized platforms - the Fox and the Panther, initiated under Sperlich and Iacocca. These platforms would be #Ford stalwarts for decades, and in late 1978 the larger of the two finally debuted - as the Ford LTD and Mercury Marquis. Just months later, OPEC II destroyed demand for large cars. After a blockbuster 1979 the LTD was down more than 60% in 1980. - The Panthers recovered as oil prices flattened in the mid-1980s and big cars had a brief comeback. Around the time GM was introducing its 3rd-wave downsizing in 1984-5, Ford was enjoying very high profits on the LTD Crown Victoria. The CV name was revived in 1980 as a top-spec LTD, then taking over entirely in 1983 when Ford introduced a Fox-based LTD. In late ’83 the big Ford wagons got the challenger they might have had in 1978 - Sperlich’s minivan - now Chrysler’s product. The minivan, and the many minivans that followed (notably Ford’s Aerostar), ate up big wagon sales, and Crown Vic wagon sales sank from ~31K in 1984 to ~15K in 1988 to just 3,865 in the final year of 1991. One of the countless hassles that used being the nightmares of car owners before may be the tirelessly rolling up and down of car windows. The salt will Naprawa pomp rexroth eat away at wire coverings causing major electrical problems in the automobile. While you will not find much out there for large engines, if you are looking for something for any fishing boat, rowboat, or something to use as a kicker motor or for trolling, you'll probably just like the options you'll need at prices you can afford. It seems more manufacturers are getting in about the 250cc motor scooter trike market. In California plus most states within the U. Many factors come into play such as cost, type of car you are converting, and don't ignore just how much space you've under the hood. By: Jim Truckey. They were street legal, meeting general guidelines, but many cities outlawed them for use around the roads. Easy to make use of and simple to store models will be a proper choice for the main reason that case. A safe approach to get a scooter driver could be to imagine which they are completely invisible with other drivers and then act accordingly. The outdoor motor is usually the one which has a condenser on itwhether you are talking in regards to a heat pump or perhaps an air conditioner. Prefer a direct this process is commonly for just two causes ( blank ) you need to know buying i actually. It cleans in multi-directions to save lots of time providing a 25-foot cord for easy manoeuvring. It is responsible for pulling the heat off of the coil, so if the outdoor motor is building a really loud noise, then that would indicate that the motor needs being changed out, or possibly that the entire outside unit is needs to wear out. Cheap Four Wheeler Under 600 Dollars. A very smart mechanic/hobbyist can probably learn from manuals and prototypes alone - but for your less experienced and less talented hobbyist, full-time tutelage under someone very experienced in creating motorcycle/car hybrid vehicles might be more appropriate. After disconnecting, use a multi meter to test the power window wiring. There will also be the Signal Lights, Tail Light, Side Marker Light, Sealed Beam, Projector Headlight, and Parking Light. Knowing to fix some important areas of your automobile on your own is section of being a responsible car owner. . Yesterday we looked at the Ford Sierra’s U.S. variant, today we see what Americans got in lieu of the Sierra. In the late 1970s Ford’s domestic operation was deep in the red, but two new platforms helped reverse that situation to some extent - the big “Panther” and the intermediate “Fox.” Though conceived for the Fairmont, which was meant to replace the aging Falcon-based Maverick and Granada, the #Fox quickly came to carry a host of domestic cars from the Mustang up through the Lincoln Continental. When the Fairmont and revised Mk2 U.S.Granada (unrelated to the European Granada) began to fade, they were replaced by the new LTD for 1983 - essentially just a restyled Fairmont with a nicer interior, minus the 2-door versions (LTD and its Mercury twin, Marquis, came only as a sedan and wagon). The previous full-size LTD continued as the #LTD Crown Victoria. Because it was mostly a Fairmont and was replaced the landmark 1986 Taurus, this LTD is often forgotten, but it came in some very interesting variants. The fastest was the LTD LX, essentially a 5.0 Police Mustang in sedan form with a high output V8, tougher suspension, bigger brakes and limited slip. These rare birds (an the even rarer Marquis LTS equivalent) were made only ’84/’85. Much rarer but appreciably less fast was the Propane-powered “Lima” 2.3 liter four - a mileage maker that never got off the ground because there weren’t very many gas stations where you could get Propane (it was dropped in ’84). In keeping with the transitional nature of the car - from Fairmont to Taurus - the main engines were the regular Lima four (2.3 liters, 1-barrel motorcraft) and the Essex V6 (carb’d in ’83, then FI), with the old thirftpower I6 still being available in the first year. #Ford hedged it’s bets with the Taurus and kept the old LTD around for 1986 just in case the new car bombed - but it didn’t. The Taurus’ instant success made the car redundant, and production ceased that summer. For years they were cheap cars - and often converted to second-hand taxis, which got good mileage and had plentiful parts, until suddenly they were all gone. Almost 650,000 were made, but they’re rarely seen today. #FordLTD #1985
