⭐️ Era was the reason Hellaina joined up with his friend group of criminals. He met her and took her in when she needed someone to be there for her, as he was wont to do. Era was always picking up strays.

⭐️ He mistakenly thought that she was into him after what happened with April and he declined feelings he assumed she had. It was a mostly well-received rejection because she wasn't interested and that helped him relax more with her.

⭐️ When he went into porn he used some of his money to help her with a vehicle that needed to be repaired. He was always willing to help if he was good for it.

⭐️ He considered her a close friend, though Missy remained his only best friend.

[ Velvette/Jayden ]

⭐️ Velvette still manhandles him often, no matter what they are doing or where they are.

⭐️ She has served him drinks with little toys in the bottom of them. She thinks it's funny when he chokes on them but always makes sure to help him when he's choking.

⭐️ Velvette is very focused on his health and happiness and is the first person to gentle him when he needs it.

⭐️ While they got married for the joke, she found that she actually really, really did love him. He's very important to her and she'd never file for divorce.

[ Vox/Valentino ]

⭐️ Before their big talk, Valentino believes Vox doesn't care about him because their sex life is lacking due to Vox's general disinterest in sex.

⭐️ Vox does not understand Val's obsession with his horoscope, but he listens every day when Valentino reads him his because it's important to him. It's one of the sweet things that Valentino does for Vox that isn't sexual and it proves he cares.

⭐️ Valentino doesn't know what to do with one of his love languages, since Vox can't eat. During one of their excursions to Earth, Valentino rents them a hotel room with a kitchenette and he makes Vox the most delicious eggs benedict he's ever had. Cooking for a partner is something he considers an ultimate show of love.

⭐️ Valentino never felt more seen or heard with Vox than he did the night they were drugged and forced into Honesty Time. Their relationship grew closer and stronger for it, and Val is honestly more secure in their relationship now than he's been in decades.

⭐️ Ostello has written and performed 50 love songs for Vox before Valentino fell. Valentino is at a healthy 22.

⭐️ Valentino has to teach Ostello how to have sex with him properly but is willing to because of Vox mediating between them.

⭐️ Vox's involvement is half of why Ostello gets to live. The other half is that they actually communicate about the lackluster sex.

⭐️ Ostello loves Vox more than anything but is instantly infatuated with Valentino. He did talk at length with Vox about it, because he values open and honest communication.

Luna is his babygirl, and he honestly kind of didn't want to let go of her when she was first born. If it wasn't for the doctors, or the fact that Crystal needed to feed Luna, he would not have let her out of his sight. That being said, he would regularly fall asleep with her in his arms or on his chest when she was little. No one could rock her to sleep like he could.

Her powers scare him, but not in the way you think. He's not scared of her or powers, but rather the danger that puts her in. Being as powerful as he knows she is makes her a target. Pietro has seen the way him, Wanda, Lorna, Magnus, etc have been treated by humans, and he just wants her safe. So he pushes her to be careful with her powers so that others can't use them against her or the people she cares about.

While Pietro might feel like his own father hates seeing himself mirrored in Pietro, he loves seeing how similar him and Luna are. As long as she doesn't inherit his anger issues, he's happy to hear people say that she is her father's daughter. Not that he needs it, but he likes the reminder that she's kid. That despite everything, she'll always be his little girl.

⭐️Considering how Vivi is an honest-to-god princess, Ikkaku has absolutely shown her her tiara collection and asked her about life as a real princess. This is because of Ikkaku's childhood princess phase having not quite fizzled out as much as she likes to claim, so she still has a fascination with the fantasy of royal balls and courtly duties and getting to wear fancy dresses and the like. Of course, the real thing is a lot more diplomacy and work than it seems in fairytales, but it's doubtful Vivi being honest about the reality of the job would dash her dreams too much.

Candy and ES love to play music together and sometimes times simply relax and watch the clouds in the sky humming and strumming away.

⭐️ Mystic Flour Cookie;

Candy would usually go to MF when she felt like she couldn't figure out what to do and was completely out of ideas on how to solve an issue that had occurred in her own kingdom. Sometimes it's just general advice.

⭐️ White Lilly Cookie;

Genuinely has issues with White Lilly, and that's because she's the guardian of the tree. However, she has some respect given that both WL and Candy want to find a way to reverse the corruption that had tainted the Beast cookies.

⭐️ Pure Vanilla Cookie;

She trusts him with Skyline cookie while she's gone, knowing that Skyline will be safe in his kingdom, and will get the proper care he needs while she is absent. Because of PV's kindly nature, Candy is much more relaxed in his presence... But she can't help but feel like someone else is constantly looming over his shoulder...

Only after losing your muscles you understand their importance. Brook often puts pillows under Zoro or rolls him into a blanket whenever he find Zoro sleeping on the floor to let his muscles rest. The most often it happens at night, since Brook sleeps only about 5 hours, he finds himself wandering the ship a lot at 5 am. Zoro never really wakes up when Brook does it, Brook assumes that it's because Zoro doesn't sense any danger from him.

Brook has been BEGGING Zoro to allow him to expand Zoro's choice of accessories. A necklace, a bracelet, another set of earrings, anything! So far it's been to no avail, but Brook is planning another strike with a new collection of hairclips and bandanas.

Brook is always enhancing and rewriting the invigorating melody he created at the Namakura Island and heavily relies on Zoro to help him test it. The two of them often spend time together that way: Brook playing while Zoro testing if he can go past his limits with the new energy coursing through him.

Matcha is helping PV with gardening. Unfortunately - she doesn’t quite have a green thumb yet. Most of the plants drown under her care. She either gives too much water or little water.

Deuce- Don’t get her wrong, she likes Ace and considers him one of her closer friends, but when it comes to Deuce Yuu is significantly more comfortable and lets her walls down a lot quicker around him over anyone else. Deuce puts her mind at ease which many of the other students couldn’t ever dream to give her. Deuce is Yuu’s comfort and even just being around him when she’s particularly stressed is enough to ease at least most of her tension. Even if it is just standing there in silence or Deuce babbling on about something he might be passionate about or upset by at that moment, the result of relaxation is always the same. She is also aware of his past but that does not affect their relationship any and the fact he’s changed as much as he has since he was a child is a part of him she really looks up to, though she had a feeling if she told him that he might get flustered so that’s a little secret she’s keeping to herself for now~.

Rook- Though Yuu has gradually gotten used to Rook and most of his quirks, she does still somewhat hold him at arms length his knack of obtaining information about his classmates still leaving her wary on completely trusting him. If there is anyone Yuu is legitimately worried about finding out her secret, if he doesn’t know already, it’s Rook. Though after the events of Book 5 and 6 she would like to think he wouldn’t ever spill her secret or lord something like her past over her. She also does show him some appreciation in the fact that he’d outfitted her with one of Pomifore’s robes after her and Epel went after him so the chill of the night air wouldn’t affect her, but since being in Twisted Wonderland regarding almost everyone with some suspicion seems a lot safer than simply giving out her trust freely.

I suppose this is a great time as any for me to go: PLEASE, I want for the two of them to sometimes have a girl's night where all they do is just relax and maybe eat some snacks. Just be away from all the guys and just do whatever. They may be assassins, but they can still enjoy the finer things in life and not want any of the guys to ruin the fun. They can have normal moments too. Is this also a good way for them to maybe learn more about each other and learn about traumas so they can better accommodate each other? Yes. PLEASE. I BEG

Kay, that was more of a 'PLEASE LET THIS BE A THING'. So something that is more of an actual headcanon between the muses. I personally have her backstory set so that Haru has been around the Varia for a while given that she was taken in by one of the intelligence officers. She wasn't an officer or anything, but she stuck around because she refused to leave his side and Nono allowed it after seeing how traumatized she was and how she refused to let anyone else near her.

She doesn't join the Varia as an officer until her later teen years, when the person who took her in lovingly nicknamed 'Sentai-san' died. So, she would've come across Squaletta when she first joined the Varia and Haru was still a lil bean. Most of her inspiration of wanting to join the Varia was her savior, but in this verse, I think another big inspiration would've been Squaletta.

With her being the vice-commander, she would've known about some of the backstories of the officers, and she would've been told about what happened to Haru and how she refuses to go anywhere else. I feel like, given who she is and her character, though she may disapprove of a young bean (only a few years younger than Bel tho lol) being around the Varia, she never went out of her way to be hostile towards Haru.

If anything, she probably tried to be understanding and compassionate to a degree to make sure no random officer gives Haru trouble. Seeing Squaletta be able to boss people around and be so confident in herself would've had lil Haru go Ohhhhhhh I WANNA BE LIKE THAT PRETTY SIS. SENTAI-SAN, HOW CAN I BE LIKE HER? 8D

Poor guy had so much stress because of her BS LOLOLOLOLOL HE did love her though, as like an adoptive daughter. He ended up giving his life to avenge her parents.

Teal and White Lily will often sit down with the book that she gifted him and go through earthbread's history. With White Lily answering any questions Teal just may happened to have.

Learning from White Lily has actively altered Teal's methods of using his powers. He's less rigid and uniform when fighting, having a bit more of a flow to his movements and methods.

Given that Hope and Pure Vanilla both suffer from nightmares, nap piles are both equally beneficial to them. With Hope's passive aether effect of nullifying or lessening the severity of nightmares and Pure Vanilla's comforting presence, both sleep significantly better around each other than they do sleeping on their own.

Given Hope's profession as a multiversal doctor and healer, she will often ask Pure Vanilla questions about treating the locals of Earthbread. In case she can use that information for other patients who could come through the medical centre.

Hope and Chamomile will often exchange stories of their adventures with each other. More often than not, it also leads to them exchanging tips and tricks they've learned along the way.

Teal and Chamomile are a force to be reckoned with if you decide to take them in a confrontation. With Chamomile's ability to heal and how insanely protective Teal is of her and her parents, it's almost scary. You have to get through the merciless aetherling, and that's significantly harder with Chamomile keeping him alive. Trying to take her out just leads to Teal targeting you instead. No matter what, you're in for trouble.

three stars for hal and sinestro and hal and any other lantern of choice.

One of many leftovers of their past mentor-and-pupil arrangement, Hal continues to be one of the slim few able to make Thaal laugh- though near exclusively in a cold or otherwise bitter manner now. If not cruel or patronizing, it's coated in something almost like melancholy- and never any more than a breath in such a case.

It goes without saying (which is preferable for Thaal), but as far as he’s concerned, no one is allowed to kill or thoroughly Hal except for Sinestro. His own Corps isn't exempt from this expectation, nor the excruciating punishments of overstepping on their Lord's right to their worst enemy's fate. Maybe it's some residual subconscious sense of responsibility for Hal, maybe it's just as simple as obsession. Or maybe something else. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Before everything else happened, Thaal found a certain entertainment in watching Hal learn and navigate through interactions with the countless new sapient species his the rookie was thrown into almost constantly. Indeed part of it stemmed from Thaal's own background as an anthropologist, himself quietly reveling in such learning moments when he was a new Lantern, but there was also the spirited- if uncoordinated and typically stumbling- manner Hal carried himself with through unfamiliar territory.

Salaak disliked Hal from the very second they were introduced, though that isn't anything unusual. The more he had to deal with Hal, the stronger that dislike became- until the Guardians' betrayal being brought to light forced Salaak to reexamine everything and everyone that had made up his Lantern career. Learning the goal behind Hal's theft of the gauntlet helped in changing Salaak’s opinion as well. Though he certainly hasn't (and likely won't) apologize to Hal in those exact words, Salaak has done his best to trust the human's intentions more and only be as critical of him as he is any of the other senior Lanterns (excluding John, of course.)

For a very long time, one of the few things Salaak could be less than rude in conversation about with Hal was Terran aircraft. Toeing the line between superiority and conveying just enough interest to keep him engaged, asking him questions on everything from broad machinations of propellers and wing slats to the fine technology of radar and autopilot. With time (and the aforementioned attitude adjustment), Salaak’s quizzing has become more forthcoming but also less frequent- though a piece of him still longs to take apart and reassemble one of the airforce jets Hal has told him about.

Though Hal was the one (assuming I remember correctly djdjdkks) to introduce Salaak to the vile "peanut butter" substance, Hal was also his gateway to Terran herbal teas. He will never admit how much he likes them- especially the stronger, earthier blends- but it's obvious in the fact that he has routinely requested some from one of the humans each time they call in their return from Earth.

he jealous. plain and simple. Jackson is jealous. not in a way that would make him violent or spiteful. just nostalgic for something that he'd never had. it's a lie when they say that you can't miss something you've never had. you very much can. and it is extremely confusing. it took him a while after being spit out into another timeline to realize that was what he was feeling, but the longer that he stays the more he realizes that he is jealous. between Tim's connection with Dick, Jason and Barbara and his handle on his own situation (anxiety and autism). Jackson feels even more out of place than ever before.

and yet he is incredibly thankful to have come across Tim at all. someone that understands him on a level that no one would ever come close to. and yet can see things in a different light than he can.

it crushes him to think that he could easily just wake up one morning back in his own timeline and never see Tim again.

Niji would kill for Victoria, he will never admit to it but she has grown on him. Part of this is due to wanting to learn more about how she gets her teas to work and if it can be applied to anything else as he is a chemistry nerd and wants to know what chemicals it is that make the brain fire in the ways that prompt emotions. Another part of it, the one that he will never state out loud, is because she makes his heart leap and feel excitement. He never knows that will happen next, what emotion her teas will bring out, and the anticipation is something he has grown addicted to.

Billy:

Once he realizes that Billy and William are sharing William's body, Pietro does everything he can to be accepting of William's life as well as his nephew's. So much so that he works on having a relationship with the Kaplans. Brings them meals, lets them teach him all about Jewish culture (cause while he would like to, he knows very little of his own heritage), inviting them over to dinner, etc. He wants Billy as a whole to feel loved and welcomed into this new family of his, and that includes the parts of him that are William.

Peter:

Pietro will casually check up on Peter while he's doing his patrols in New York. There's a lot of times he doesn't even really stop. Doesn't join him on the patrols either. Just runs by to get a glimpse and make sure he's okay before going back to what he was doing before. He just likes checking in one his boyfriend from time to time.

⭐️While Ikkaku had figured out how to use two swords on her own by Zou, it was Zoro who taught her how to actually use two-sword style. Her desire to both protect her crew and, admittedly, impress Zoro made her a quick learner, even if she still has a way to go to master the style. But she's not complaining because that means more lessons from Zoro.

⭐️Ikkaku gives great massages and naturally gives them to Zoro after he's been training or after a particularly intense battle. However, she does often give the caveat that he needs to shower first. This is to ensure he actually does shower so he's not stinky, especially because it's not uncommon for her massages to put people to sleep, and she wants to be able to enjoy a nice cuddle/nap with him, and she wants him smelling nice for it.

⭐️Deep down, Ikkaku hopes that she'll be there to see Zoro claim the title of the World's Greatest Swordsman. She would love to see his dream come true firsthand. But even if she isn't there, she has every intention to help him celebrate and train to retain that title, plus just spend time with him as he starts on a new dream.

⭐️Candy loved to share knowledge with SM when he was known as "Blue", which is a nickname she always called him. Sadly now all knowledge she could share with this scholar, for knowing too much would have cracked him sooner...

⭐️Even through SM, Candy still has respect but she is honestly unnerved by just how unhinged he has become. Half of the time, she has no idea how to even properly approach him anymore. And when he finds her, she always gets this cold chill up her spine, she realizes she has gravely underestimated how much SM can actually do with his magic... Which makes her wonder... Does he know something she doesn't know?

Skyline Cookie

⭐️ He thinks he is his imaginary friend and calls him "Blue Jester Cookie". or "Blue J". [He's hanging at the vanilla kingdom, so I'm pretty sure SM has tried messing with him already… Only to find the kid just isn't scared of him xDDD]

⭐️ [BONUS] SM is the reason why Skyline learned how to build his wings so quickly, it was not just the books and visiting Strawberry Crepe Cookie.

He hopes that SM will let him keep both Bat-Cat and Schwartz after all of this comes to fruition. Lico is willing to do almost anything to prove to Pommeagranate Cookie that he is the best and will relish the day when he can finally take her down, for taking DE's attention away, and [when he finds out] for meddling with Schwartz...]

// Brook likes to sort of check on Thea once in a while. For no reason other the strange connection he feels with her. He does that by sending her little treats from the islands his crew visits just to keep in touch. Brook knows that his immortal friend is fine travelling alone, but he really can't understand it, being a huge extrovert and believing the quiet and lack of companionship in travels to be pure torture. So he likes to surprise her with small gifts, hoping that it would improve her mood.
