Thinking about the babies (my ocs) here are some Second generation Emerald Ring au holiday headcanons:

Charlie, Tilly and Flynn have never celebrated holidays before, their only tradition with Kilory being getting ice cream and cake after dinner.

Tilly doesn't like the winter months, the near constant clouds hanging over head block out the moon and stars.

The three of them would be quite surprised at the sudden appearance of a tree in the living room; Flynn in particular doesn't like it, he hate sudden changes of his surroundings.

Charlie is neutral to the whole thing, but she enjoys that the cold weather gives her an excuse to cuddle up with her favorite people and take extended naps with them.

Tilly is guilty of taking one too many cookies before dinner; she can't help it sugar cookies are her favorite!

Flynn is "cautious" of most activities, preferring to stay snuggled up with the other Mr. Vernon on the couch.

Tilly makes sure Charlie is well taken care of, making sure her honey pot is full of warm tea and delicious fruit to keep any nasty colds away.

Unfortunately it's always Tilly who gets a bad cold this time of year and every year Charlie is convinced Tilly is dying.

Flynn doesn't like Christmas music, he feels like the song jingle bells follows him from store to store.

Flynn also doesn't like that Ridley, Izzy and Olly are all very busy and they can't spend time like they normally do.

Flynn does like staying up late to do puzzles with the other Mr. Vernon.

Flynn also likes making hot chocolate and string it in his cup with a candy cane.

Flynn wants to fight Santa Claus; how dare someone sneak into his house! He did not give this Santa Claus permission to enter his house and give him gifts! He wants to go all raccoon on this stranger!

Dante is not helping; "he makes good points James."

FAVORITE CHARACTER TROPE : anyone who knows me would know that my type is absolutely war bred characters and characters who are either inspired by ares or could be an ares child? also not a trope really but i love characters who subvert tropes? like, darkness being good, light being evil, etc.
