I got stung by another friken bee today. We think there are just a crap load of ground nests because one of my crew members got attacked by a swarm yesterday and got about 6 stings.

Today as I was following right behind two crew members my foot slipped into a small hole between some pilled up logs. He grunted and sighed in frustration and looked up to glance around as I normally do to check for threats and ways out. As I looked up I caught sight of the biggest hornets nest I'd ever seen in my life!!! This thing was about the size of my head and just spitting hornets. I scrambled back because I was an arms length away from it. I kept sputtering and pointing at the nest trying to remember the word for "bees nest" I was shocked no one else was seeing it until I finally got out "NEST OF BEES"
