DIY Design with TV’s Martin Amado

The Home Design and Remodeling Show was very pleased to welcome design and lifestyle expert, Martin Amado to its “virtual” home improvement stage for a new series titled, “Stay at Home with the Home Show.”

Martin Amado is a celebrity designer, TV host/design expert on ION Television, and author of “One-Day Room Makeovers.” In his book, Martin includes a DIY project at the end of each chapter.  He continues to spread the joy of design and DIY through many other avenues including his own social media platforms, ION TV and most recently, on Telemundo 51’s “En Casa con Telemundo.”

The Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show returns Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-27, 2019 to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. Plan and Prepare for Home Renovation with HGTV’s The Cousins | Fort Lauderdale Home Show

March 7, 2017…Fort Lauderdale…Planning a home renovation can be stressful, but HGTV’s The Cousins, John Colaneri and Anthony Carrino are determined to make the process easier for homeowners. The real-life cousins and best friends bring much more than rugged good looks and charm to the stage. Both have run successful businesses that specialize in interior design and construction, and oversee their projects from start to finish. 

The Cousins make a South Florida debut at the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show and will present, “Planning and Preparing for a Renovation” on May 26-29, 2017 (Memorial Day Weekend) at the Broward County Convention Center. Four seminars will be offered at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28th and Monday (Memorial Day) May 29th.

The Cousins don’t believe in talking “at” their audience. They plan to tailor content to the needs of show-goers offering a free-form Q & A that focuses on planning the design/construction and budget; selecting the team (Architect, General Contractor, Designer etc.) and how to communicate and handle the unknown.

The seminars are included with Home Show admission and a special online saving of $3.00 off adult admission, is offered through May 25th. Regular, adult admission is $10.00 online and at the Box Office; $1.00 for children 11 and under.

The Home Design and Remodeling Show also announces its feature area, Home Style 411. Selected through a submission process, four South Florida Interior Designers have been chosen to offer complimentary advice about home décor and design.
