still designin’ characters and still makin’ tunes, but the priority before going in full development hell is finishing up a handful of world building animations that I’ll be posting over the next stack of months on my YouTube channel: FLONCH (Many of the characters posted here will be making appearances)

Eren x (fem) shy reader

You were in the woods for a meeting with the yeagarists. You were discussing the next plan. When everything was over with you guys were getting ready for the next day. You set your tent up in a more secluded area so you wouldn’t have to talk to anyone much. When you were done and ready to go inside to rest or read you saw some walk up to you.

Ugh I hope that’s not flonch. You thought to yourself, not feeling like dealing with him at the moment.

“Hey y/n, hope I’m not bothering you,” you looked up and saw a tall boy with long dark hair waving towards you. Eren.

You almost make a fool of yourself trying to stand up straight and doing the salute. As he stands right in front of you your head turns down staring at the ground feeling intimidated.

“No way. It’s always an honor to t-talk to you, sir.” You tell him. Eren laughs, which makes you look up at his face. Still not making eye contact.

“No need for any formals or anything,” the green eyed boy informs you. “I’m just here because I noticed you during the meeting.”

He noticed me?!?! Your thoughts were racing because it’s not everyday that the leader of your group will just acknowledge one of their supporters. Did he think I’m a trader or something?

“Oh, did you?” You say softly, now looking back down.

“Well, to be honest,” he started, scratching the back of his head. “I always sort of notice you during our meetings, you always seem so focused and thoughtful. I appreciate it. Really.”

Your face goes red and you become flustered. “Well thank y-you, it's inspiring knowing that you notice.” He smiles.

“No problem, I also noticed you don’t speak too much,I was wondering what was on your mind during these things.”

You thought about it for a second. You weren’t sure if confining him in something like this was a good idea. You, for probably the first time ever, looked him in the eyes. You felt safe somehow. You made the risky decision of telling him the truth. But you turned your head so you weren’t facing him again.

“Sometimes I have doubts about what we’re doing. I know that this is the best choice for eldians but there’s still a voice in the back of my head saying it’s… wrong?” Your voice was shaky and frankly the words barely came out as a whisper.

“Hhmm,” was all the tall boy responded and you two stand in silence for a few long moments. you think you’re about to be banished from the mission or something but he starts talking again.

“I often have the same thoughts,”

“Really?”

“It’s true, I’ve gone through most of my life believing countless lies. Now I can't help but to question everything.” He told you. You couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. You were a few years younger so you didn’t remember the days after the titans destroyed wall rose.

“Oh right…” you respond not knowing what else to say.

“There’s nothing wrong with questioning things, just think about what would be best for eldians.”

You nod and before you’re about to head to your tent he grabs your arm and cups your face with your other hand.

“Thank you, y/n. I really do love having you here,” Eren shared.

Your face heats and all you can manage to mumble is a quick ‘thanks’ wondering what that all meant. You go to tent and spend the night dreaming of him.
