Hello to the maybe two other people who might read this (probably in my imagination), but I am shipping Jack and Florence pretty hard. Of course I am. I’m an old man fucker. I’m a whore for age difference. I have a very enjoyable, if not all that involved daddy kink, and I love love love boss/employee, master/student relationships. Look at my gosh darn profile pic. I LOVE ME A DADDY. 

Anyway, Jack Mooney is the daddiest of daddies. His warm, crinkly eyes and frumpy yet sexy fashion choices. His sometimes cutting, often charming Irish humor, and god DAMN but I want to hug that man. His little offhand jokes, and his constant snacking and playing with his tie. His sad eyes and his warm laugh and how much he loves and supports his daughter and misses his dead wife. Help. Help. I love him.

DS Florence Cassell is just the sweetest cinnamon roll, which is rare in the “female cop who’s tough” character genre. She’s sort of the strong silent type. A total Thomas Jopson, who will leap into action to bring justice, but who spends most of their time supporting the superior they’re secretly and madly in love with. Her smile lights up the room, and her ridiculously ripped arms and sexy French accent... are you telling me Jack DIDN’T fall over backward the moment he first saw her? 

They are both so kind to one another, and are such good friends in canon, and I get that it’s put out there that he sees her as a friend. “That’s you and me, Florence, a couple a muckers”. But to me, I see the potential for so SO much more with these two. Their friendship is beautiful, yes, but... what if they kissed? 

I’m writing fic. To my knowledge, there is ONE other author who writes for this pairing, and I’m working my way through my second of their three fics. Thank you other author, for showing me just how well Jack and Florence fit together!

do you have any canon x canon ships for jack?

Jacksebe 🐺🐊 !!!!!!! I wish there was more interaction of them together, they're so funny together and they're both competitive so since they're himbos big strong boys they can go out on eachother without having to hold back

And a personal fave of mine is FloJack 🦈🐺 LISTEN I know it's a rarepair but . Literally every, EVERY interaction of them is so entertaining because it's pure chaos. Jack always tries to be respectful and chill to his upperclassmen but Floyd is always (sometimes purposefully) pushing Jack to his limit of patience and it's always funny so see Jack almost having a nerve attack but he really holds himself back because he feels like it's unforgivable to disrespect an upperclassman FJJFDJKJKDFKJ

And because of a similar reason to JackSebe, both Jack and Floyd are tall and strong and competitive so they are the perfect rivals for each other!! It's not often they find someone as tall as them who can take them on a fight, and as despicted in Beans Day - Lyreless Brawl, and Jack's Beans camo personal story, Jack was really eager to challenge Floyd; It almost felt like an inversion of roles since Jack was the one ticking off Floyd this time 😂 and the look of ectasy in Jack's face when Floyd finally feels like taking him in, it made me feel like aww... he finally found his perfect rival <3 (if I'm not mistaken, in the actual Beans Day event in this same scene Jack's smiling sprite was changed to his smug grin sprite)

And I'm not even gonna talk about Jack's lab coat personal story because I've never known peace since then 🤯 (there is no heterosexual explanation to the tweels petting Jack and calling him a good boy and wanting to take him in as a pet)

I guess those are my main, and honorable mention to JackDeuce 🐺♠️ they're very wholesome and supportive homies so they make a cute pair together methinks (I still get soft when I remember Jack was the first and only one who even cared for Deuce when he disappeared in Vargas Camp 😭)
